Wow! Thread number three.

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Fedupithink · 24/04/2016 06:56

Wrungout I am so so sorry to hear that, I hope you are being well looked after Flowers

I survived yeaterdays hen-do, it was actually good to be dressed up and out although by the time I got home at nearly midnight I was so nauseous and bloated I'd had to undo my jeans totally.

I'm 11 weeks today and planning an epic chilled day!

AlbusPercival · 24/04/2016 07:55

Spent most of yesterday in bed, was bliss.

Anyone have sharp pain in tummy when they sneeze?

almondbutter · 24/04/2016 08:10

Albus YES, sneezing is super painful. Ditto coughing or laughing really hard. I guess it's just the sudden contraction of muscles that are softening? For whatever reason I am sneezing much more and every time I do I give a big 'ooowww' afterwards. Nice for DH when he's trying to sleep...

LittleGreyCatwithapinkcollar · 24/04/2016 08:35

Not noticed it when I sneeze Albus, but getting horrid round ligament pain if I stand up quickly. Luckily I recognise it from last time but I remember being really scared by it to start with.

coppergrey · 24/04/2016 08:40

YES to the sneezing pain! And laughing and coughing. All leads to a sharp pain in my left side.

This thread is so reassuring - so grateful to have such a strong support network! Flowers

Bollyroo · 24/04/2016 09:01

Ahaha! DH and I have been bingeing on Ab Fab (as I can't drink, I might as well watch other people). Anyway he just pointed out that here it's 6pm and we've already had dinner and are in PJs ready for bed. OMG! What has happened to us?!

needanewjob · 24/04/2016 09:41

Another one with the sharp pains from sudden sneezes or big coughs! Also sneezing more than usual which is annoying! Scan on Tuesday which I'm feeling nervous about. Just really hoping it all looks good

AlbusPercival · 24/04/2016 10:18

Glad it's not just ne! DH thinks I am going nuts with all my aches and pains

almondbutter · 24/04/2016 10:36

A new development, not entirely good or bad: am 11+4 and since I hit 11 weeks my nausea is off and on rather than constant but I am vomiting at least once a day compared with about once every ten days before. I feel better than at 10 weeks, but not thrilled about the increased throwing up since it makes you more reluctant to leave the house even if you have the energy.
Anyone else's MS changing as they go along?

In other news told my mum this weekend and she's been great -- endless ginger tea and simple food. She also got very excited about baby things when we were out yesterday.

Beelzebubble · 24/04/2016 10:40

Wrung out, I'm so sorry. Hope you're being minded xx

I have the sneezing pain too! In fact, I'm beginning to think sneezing is a symptom? I have had a sneezing fit at least once a day since becoming pregnant.

Bollyroo, im not planning on even getting out of my pj's today :D

needanewjob · 24/04/2016 10:44

I'm feeling bad today. I'm managing well in the week but by the weekend all Im fit for is lounging round the house in my pjs! Poor husband has been taking DS to all his activities and today looks even more tired than me! Think I need to pull my socks up and give him a break

RuskBaby · 24/04/2016 12:31

Almondbutter Mine has changed, I am being sick more often and earlier on in the day now too and with less warning. John Lewis on Oxford street yesterday was a highlight Blush Getting worried I will be found out at work too, I work for the NHS and understandably if you have a sickness bug you aren't allowed in - how would I explain being sick and no bug!?
So glad to have this page to see I am not alone, also have the pain on sneezing and coughing.
It's tough not being able to tell people and ask other friends who have been through it too.
Made it to double figures today (10) so super happy.

FuzzyOwl · 24/04/2016 13:18

I have elbow pain despite doing nothing at all to hurt it, so I am assuming it is somehow pregnancy related. I'm also suffering from either heartburn/acid reflux or else ms is making an appearance, but surely 12 weeks is too late? It might just be nerves about my scan though.

Tartsamazeballs · 24/04/2016 13:25

Has anyone else been suffering from dizzy spells? This weekend, starting Friday night, whenever I've stood up my vision has gone funny and the room has spun. It's been coupled with being dog-tired as well. 10-11 hours sleep a night, plus a 3 hour mid afternoon nap yesterday. It's getting hard to function like a normal adult, and I'm sure it's frustrating the life out of my husband (who isn't letting himself show it cos he's a good boy!)

FuzzyOwl · 24/04/2016 13:26

Yes, but I often do anyway. Apparently low blood pressure and dizzy spells are really common in early pregnancy and allegedly many years ago fainting was one of the ways you would be diagnosed as pregnant - presumably there weren't any test sticks around back then! Hope it all eases soon for you.

smellsofelderberries · 24/04/2016 13:34

Tarts, could you have low iron? I was severely anemic in my teens and I was dog tired all the time and my vision would go when I stood up, and I would get dizzy spells. Have you had your booking bloods yet? I think they do iron levels in that lot.

ElleSarcasmo · 24/04/2016 14:17

When is your scan FuzzyOwl?

fuzzywuzzy · 24/04/2016 14:56

FuzzyO ive read apparently ms can make an appearance after 7 weeks!

Altho I've been having heartburn too and if I lie down after eating a big meal I do actually get the sick feeling at the back of my throat.

I also get dizzy spells and have done since very early on it's the one way I know I'm pregnant way before I can POS.

Tartsamazeballs · 24/04/2016 15:07

Weird mix of glad and sorry it's not just me being dizzy! Yeh booking bloods done 3 weeks ago, all really good. Been taking santogen preggo multi vit which has iron, although I hve to admit I haven't eaten leafy greens or red meat for about 5 weeks! Blood pressure was really good at booking appt too- literally smack bang in the middle of normal. Ho hum... Guess I'll put it down as another crappy preggo symptom! It'll be worth it in the end right?! 😂

fuzzywuzzy · 24/04/2016 15:33

If the dizziness is making you feel unwell I would get it checked just in case. I'm on extra iron as I'm also anaemic

FuzzyOwl · 24/04/2016 15:40

Elle tomorrow

I think fuzzyw it is probably heartburn because it is in the back of my throat but I don't have to be lying down or have eaten anything. Am sure heartburn started much later last time although I did have ms then so maybe I just couldn't tell the difference early on.

ElleSarcasmo · 24/04/2016 18:36

Ah FuzzyOwl, will be thinking of you tomorrow. I'm sure all will be well and you will see the bean waving away at you. Flowers

bobcat85 · 24/04/2016 19:42

I've been getting dizzyness but mainly when I'm tired. I think week 10 has been the worst for nausea and tiredness; I'm 11 weeks on Tuesday so hoping I might feel a bit better then. Also my hair has gone wavy on one side and straight on the other which is weird.

Good luck to everyone having their scans tomorrow. Looking forward to hearing how they all go.

smellsofelderberries · 24/04/2016 21:25

Oh man. Today I have cried hysterically over the fact that DH went to Tescos and I was desperate for strawberry Nesquik. He came home with shitty pre made strawberry milk which was NOT the same (he was gone for ages, apparently searching Tescos for Nesquik, they had none). So I cried and cried. Until we went for a walk and bought some strawberry ice cream. Just now I've been crying over the fact that I couldn't fit everything in the dishwasher and was really frustrated. Hormonal, me? Hmm

Hope everyone else has had a tear-free weekend!

smellsofelderberries · 24/04/2016 21:26

Good luck for tomorrow FuzzyOwl!
