Potato amazing news about the house, congratulations. Did you get the scan? I hope you managed to sleep but maybe think about heading back today for some pain meds.

Pink I've been doing pf exercises for the last 6 weeks since my Physio demanded I did them.

As I haven't dtd in quite some time I also can't comment on baby movements . I had a delightful moment of trying to seduce DH and he turns over to me, puts his hand on my bump and asks how Pip is. Killed the mood good and proper he did!!

Newmrs22 · 26/04/2016 08:01

Morning ladies. We haven't DTD for nearly 2 weeks, so I haven't really noticed the movements.

So today I'm 24 weeks. I weight myself once a week and I've LOST just over a pound this week. Wtf. I feel like I'm starving my baby, even though I'm eating perfectly well. I feel quite crappy about it.

I'm trying to do pf exercises, but I forget a lot!

shelbTa · 26/04/2016 08:03

Oh potato what a rough time - what painkillers have they given you? Yey for house though!

Haha, bunch - that sounds familiar. My oh is well dodging the subject - they other day I asked him if that was now no sex for me for the next four months, he said he just doesn't want to hurt me or the baby. But apparently blowys are still ok. I can't go another four months it's ridiculous, he's guna have to man up.

Pink how are you - are you getting proper movements now?

X

ElleSarcasmo · 26/04/2016 08:24

Lovely scan -Danni!

Congratulations on the house Potato, how are you feeling now?

Love the name Elliott/Elliot Leonie!

Lovely bump Miley! No comment on the nipples though Shock

Pink the matching sash will look gorgeous!

Sodasoda · 26/04/2016 09:12

Hi everyone!

potato sorry you're having such a rough time of it. Hope you're feeling better today.

Lovely bump miley, definitely starting to show!

Lovely picture danni! And hooray for team blue! Interesting what you say about having the bump out front, I've definitely noticed a pattern like that with friends who've had babies. Anyone else who knows what they're having noticed a correlation there? At first I was certain I was having a boy (small in front bump and craving beer!) but now my bump has kind of spread - my bum is massive! So could be a girl....

Am really on the countdown to holiday this week. Not had any time off since Christmas (apart from Easter bank hol) so really can't wait. Just can't be bothered with work at all - we're all working on a big event which is happening in September when I'm not even going to be there! Hard to stay motivated.

BunchOfBobs · 26/04/2016 11:35

My wedding and engagement rings have had to come off. I feel naked Sad

Mileymoocow · 26/04/2016 12:00

Just been told that a lady I used to work with at my first job is 13 weeks pregnant! Her grandson is due a month before her baby and the dad wants nothing to do with it! What a bloody predicament.

Oh no bunch! Have you started with the water retention?

Just had a bunch of flowers and a card delivered from my colleagues. I gave my boss the go ahead to tell them I'm pregnant. I wanted to do it myself but I'm getting bigger by the day and I'm scared I'm spotted and rumours start

Sodasoda · 26/04/2016 12:12

That's nice miley. Do you have any thoughts re when you might be able to go back to work?

Shame about the rings bunch, were your fingers just too swollen?

I've had the first 'belly rub' today from a work colleague. I'm not sure how I feel about it. On the one hand it was nice as it showed that I now definitely look pregnant! On the other it was a bit invasive! She said 'ooh definitely a baby in there now!' Another colleague piped up 'well it wasn't a jelly baby before' which I quite liked! Smile

TMI alert! Just had my first poo in a week! At work! It was so big that it momentarily blocked up the toilet! It felt like I imagine giving birth to feel like Angry BlushBlush Still, I feel pretty relieved now! Grin

Pinklily1 · 26/04/2016 12:34

Will catch up properly later but in relation to DTD - OH and I DTD this weekend for the first time in 11 weeks (I didn't fancy it when I was suffering with MS). I had to instigate it this time and a few times during it he mentioned about being careful and not hurting the baby. Didn't really enhance the moment! What is it with men?!

I suspect that I will be the one instigating it from now until after baby is born.

Miley, that's like something off Jeremy Kyle!

Shelb, I'm fine now thanks. I've felt little bits of what I think was movement over the past few weeks and then this morning when I was lying in bed there were some proper kicks. It feels so weird! In a good way though! How are you?

Pinklily1 · 26/04/2016 12:38

Soda, are you going away for your hols?

In terms of baby bump, we are Team Pink and my bump is quite high and central. I don't think that I've put on weight anywhere else, although I may be wrong about that!

Miley, that's a lovely gesture from your colleagues!

Has anyone found any nice maternity exercise wear? My existing bottoms are all getting a bit tight round the waist and dig in when I spin, but there seems to be a total lack of workout stuff for pregnant ladies! Mamalicious have some but they are sold out in my size Hmm

Sodasoda · 26/04/2016 12:57

Thanks pink, interesting about bump - you're blowing my theory out the water!

Yes, we're going away to southern Italy! Can't wait, it's so cold at the moment, I'm really struggling with my maternity work wardrobe. I have a lot of summery stuff and not a lot of winter stuff!

pink - I'm finding the sand with gym gear. I've got some good over bump leggings from h&m which were really cheap and are great. They're not padded for spinning but they're comfy! I'm just wearing normal gym tops.

Pinklily1 · 26/04/2016 13:03

Thanks Soda. My tops are fine too, it's just the bottoms. New look have just started a gym range which is lovely but unfortunately not maternity. I think there's a gap in the market!

I've never been to Italy but have always wanted to go. The weather can only be better than here!

Pinklily1 · 26/04/2016 13:04

ps soda, this is my bump at 22 weeks

Pinklily1 · 26/04/2016 13:04

ps soda, this is my bump at 22 weeks. It actually looks quite low here but it feels high!

Canters15 · 26/04/2016 13:40

Congrats on the house potato!!

Lovely bump pink!

My plan for exercise clothes is to just Wes mat leggings with a long top. Actually feel like going for a run today for the first time in weeks, baby won't fall out if I do right?! Grin

IndiX · 26/04/2016 13:45

Potato so please about the house!
Pink I'm looking around for maternity gym stuff too, I haven't got a bump yet but can't seem to find any decent gym gear anywhere. I may try Asos they always have good maternity stuff.
Glad it's not just me with the cold shitty weather, I'm in Scotland and it's sleet, snow and hail. I've just had to put my heating on and I'm going to get a bath, I'm bloody freezing. Can't wait for my holidays in 3 weeks!

Sodasoda · 26/04/2016 14:06

Lovely bump pink - really neat! I would have said that's a boy bump if I didn't know better! I'm 19+6 today (tomorrow will feel like a real milestone Smile) and I'd say my bump is probably a bit lower but I've definitely put on weight around my hips and bum too.

If anyone does find good maternity bottoms let us know! Currently it's just leggings for me which are fine but they're not really the right material.

BunchOfBobs · 26/04/2016 15:06

I've been testing them daily after seeing a new mum I know on Facebook try to put on her rings too soon and needing to get them cut off. They've started getting too tight so I decided to do the sensible thing. I'm so sad not to be wearing them.

Miley that sounds lovely of your colleagues.

Lovely bump Pink

Soda you made me choke with laughter with your toilet talk, I bet you feel so much better now!

shelbTa · 26/04/2016 15:24

Nice bump pink - and dress, where is it from? That would be spot on for my workplace x

Mileymoocow · 26/04/2016 17:45

soda hopefully Monday but I have an agreement with my boss that I have to have at least 3 days where I'm better
before I go back.

pink your bump is so teeny and cute! You're gonna be one of the lucky ones that really carries well.

Just back from my 16 week appt. Was a very quick "all your bloods are fine, you're gaining weight slowly but we're not worried and your urine is fine" so I'm happy. They found baby straight away with doppler and I caught a peek and saw 148bpm which (if you're one to believe old wives tales) I think means girl!

soda I really feel for you! I'm so glad you managed to go!

Nevlet · 26/04/2016 17:50

I need to moan... I feel so poorly. Throaty ouchy cough banging headache achey muscles and shivers Sad feel like I am back in first trimester again!

Nevlet · 26/04/2016 17:51

And now my post has posted twice!

Pinklily1 · 26/04/2016 18:33

Nev, there was all sorts of double posting from me earlier, not sure what's going on! Get yourself to bed and tucked up with some honey and lemon Thanks

Shelb, randomly the dress if from sainsburys! Spotted it on my weekly shop and thought I'd give it a go! I got it a year ago though.

Miley, I really hope I stay neat! Fingers crossed you'll have a good run of 3 days sickness free soon!

Re exercise pants, I've trawled ASOS, New look, Dorothy Perkins, Isabella Oliver, Seraphine, Topshop, Debenhams, and mamalicious to no avail! They do have some nice mamalicious ones on the website which aren't too pricey (£32) and are black and pink, but they only have limited sizes left.
