Very nice lg&t it's a little different to the buggy you have at the moment for hugs. Hope he's OK.

Will not post a pic of bump, as I don't have one.

Actually I would love to be able to post pic's on there but I've tried, it won't let me upload them; Any help appriciated PLEASE!!!

cinnamontam · 09/01/2007 17:07

Oh that sure is pretty!

My cousin just offered me their Bugaboo to borrow as she has just had her second and they need a 2 kid pram (I'm sure there is a better word for them). Very tempted...

I'm 172 cm (5 foot 7.5) so just above average but I'm more worried about the size of head than length - i think

Been thinking about ggg too. A horrible, horrible day

cinnamontam · 09/01/2007 17:10

I've never done the loo paper thing - way too scared I'll be into the 20's already. Might do it later and post it if it ain't too embarrassing. Still trying to work out how much is bean and how much is belly

largeginandtonic · 09/01/2007 17:25

Hugs is drippier by the second FSF, methinks my circles under my eyes may look like dustbin bags tom

I still like Hug's buggy (its a phil and teds) but im bored with it. I had one of those prams for Jonah but my friend has it back now and is trying for a baby so no chance of borrowing it again. I love them, so lovely to push and the baby fits in it for ages, Jonah was in there till he was 2.

Am making pork and orange casserole tonight with rice but it's one of those meals i do and the kids all look like im feeding them poison We will see how it goes today!

Pebblemum · 09/01/2007 17:44

Hi all, just been looking at all the pics uploaded by us May lot. Charleymouse, the twins look so cute and the pic of the bump is great, very neat and it doesnt look much bigger than me on a normal day.
And LG&T your bump isnt that big at all, love the sticky out belly button mine just seems to have expanded into a giant crater which Dh seems to think he has to poke all the bloody time

Well ds2 went for his 2nd day at pre-school, again with me in tow, and it was a disaster. This time he went after the children had played with the toys so all he was allowed to do was sit there, eat snack and then do a big group activity, he hated it as all he wanted to do is play. He spent most of the time crying which has worried me as im supposed to be leaving him there tomorrow for the whole session which is 2.5hrs long. I know i wont be able to relax at all while he is there, i will be worrying that he doesnt like it. I know he will get used to the routine they have but he has been so used to having the run of the house and now hes being told he cant play with toys when he wants to, that he has to sit down for ages etc that i expect it is hard for him to get to grips with it. I must try not to let him see how anxious i am tomorrow though as he is good at picking up on those things and will milk it (hes very smart for a 3yr old, he knows how to manipulate )

On a lighter note i have finally remembered to do TPT and i am still 10sheets, not sure how that can be as im getting bigger every day yet the TPT measurements are staying the same

Has anyone else found that their darling little baby has been poking and prodding their bladder all day, ive lost count of the number of times ive had to dash off to the nearest loo because i have a sudden urge to wet myself Dh is finding it very amusing and has enjoyed watching me waddle off with legs tightly closed

Frenchsmallfry · 09/01/2007 17:44

That was that I don't have a bump not that i don't have a pic. (well actually I don't have that either but that can be made)

Poor hugs, I hope it doesn't come to anything, start getting the medised into him NOW!!!!

Dinner sounds good lg&t, I won't tell you what crap I've just fed my children and dh, all effort went into Gordon's chicken last night so couldn't be bothered today.

aprilmeadow · 09/01/2007 18:49

Pinkjenny congrats on your pink one. Looks like the girls are out numbering the boys atm.

FSF - bought NOTHING apart from some food. Not very exciting.

Not feeling too good today. Been having nose bleeds for the last few days and my mum told me that i should go to the docs just to check blood pressure etc as she suffered the same and ended up with high blood. So after thinking about it all day i decided to phone the docs and see what they thought. Ended up with a dr's appt and was found to have slightly higher blood pressure than normal. Highish for me but still in the boundaries of normal. Also have a urine infection, so on antibiotics for a week. Have to go back next Tuesday for blood tests Got a banging headache as well. On the upside i got to listen to her heartbeat again.

largeginandtonic · 09/01/2007 19:04

Mine actually ate the dinner Even Hugs No idea why, it drives me crazy sometimes, there seems to be no rhyme or reason to it. I have been quite mean with their diet recently as they came back from exp looking like hell, not sure what he and his bit of stuff feed them but i dont think nutritional value features high on their list

Also am broke so making everything from scratch the only way to do it!

I get to go to a scan tomorrow....not mine A friend was going to go on her own but i said nooooo dont do that i will come too She found out she was prg before xmas but cant remember if her last period was oct or nov! So we are off to see how big the little bean is, am so excited. Plus it's a trip outside (i dont get out much)

Really, really want to go and make the cheesecake in a box mix i have had in the cupboard for about 3 months. If i make it though you know i will just eat the whole god damned thing!

Think of MKG tonight on the tv, hope she is having a ball! Im sure she is, it did sound fun. Wander if she will win a ticket over to the K for a prize, we would all have to meet up then Hmmmmmm coffee house with cake or bar with plenty of wine???? It would depend on if we were up the duff or not i suppose

anneme · 09/01/2007 19:16

Hello all - just taken me ages to catch up with the reading - I might not be that chatty but that is often because I can't chat from work but can usually read...
Had 20 wk scan today (actually nearly 22 wk scan) and all well - hooray. Didn't find out flavour although I thought I saw a willy and then realised it was a leg - thank god - he would have been deformed with one that size....
RE Pox and children - my son has ecsma(can't ever spell it) and calamine lotion made it worse but piriton syrup was great - and made him sleepy.
DS is going through a bolshie phase - am beginning to panic about how I will cope with two. Am waiting to hear from work about mat pay so don't know when i will go back to work - probably JAn (I am a teacher so want to start at the beginning of a term ) BUT then I remembered how many bugs etc we all pick up in the LEnt term and thought I should wait. DH suggested that we could sell our house and buy something cheaper then I could afford to stay off longer - NO NO NO!!!!

PS I am also part of the vigilante vege brigade but am married to a meat eater so am really very reasonable - I do still have memories of black pudding as a child (ick!)

JonahB · 09/01/2007 19:21

LG&T, don't know if this makes you feel better, but you?re bump is actually smaller and kind of more compact than mine. I already look like I?ve swallowed a large beach ball.

Cinn, your DH is 6 foot 8!!!! Your DH is like, twice my size (well almost?.) .

I?ve also been thinking about ggg all day. I?ve been sporadically bursting into tears at intermittent intervals. My thoughts and prayers are with her family at the moment. It's just too awful to contemplate....

Ann, glad the scan went well and lols at your huge willy. Ah, I guess they can?t all be that lucky!!!!

MKG ? how was the TV appearence?????

Pebblemum · 09/01/2007 19:23

LG&T my kids are getting quite fussy with their eating at the moment, one minute they love something the next when i dish it up for them they give me looks of disgust. They are now learning though that if they dont eat what they are given they starve lol I cant be doing with cooking different things for each of them just because one is being fussy so im the boss of the kitchen and they can like it or lump it (that goes for dh too )

Pinktrappedwindjenny · 09/01/2007 19:29

Sorry to be pedantic ladies, but I was on the list as having a boy on 27 may - when it is a girl on 23 may. So I've done the list again!

TPT - still 8

I think I've mentioned before that I work in Employee Relations - can you believe that my boss gave me a risk assessment form today that he had already filled in and expected me to sign it. I may look stupid, but as if!

Pinktrappedwindjenny · 09/01/2007 19:32

Now I've out the wrong due date on the list. Oh forget it, the trapped wind is going to my head.

cinnamontam · 09/01/2007 20:06

Ah yes - windy brains. Curse of the pregnant woman.

My DH claims he has caught my pregnant brain. I just reckon it's cause he's blonde

hertsnessex · 09/01/2007 20:08

Pebblemum · 09/01/2007 20:29

Dh asked me last night if i wanted him at the birth this time why would this time be any different to when ds2 was born, men really are daft sometimes. Not that he was much help last time, he slept through the first3hrs of contractions then got in a panic and threw his bowl of cocoa pops everywhere and then once at hospital he kept cracking jokes about how easy labour was before disappearing while i had my shower to go and have a cooked brekkie (while i had to make do with yucky cheese sarnies with curled edges)But no matter how useless he was I want him there, my mum has been with me during my two previous labours but unless this one arrives within 7days of due date she will be sunning herself in portugal when the time comes (she flies out 1st June for 2wks and ds2 was 8days late so it doesnt look good) I still cant beleive he had to ask, what a moron

twelveyeargap · 09/01/2007 20:58

Was the prediction thing at the end, Jenny, the Chinese predictor? And the actual gender, if known, is at the end?

Been to see my house. It's great. I'm a bit overwhelmed. It's bigger than I remembered (prob cos there's no furniture in it). It's going to be so empty! There are more rooms than we have furniture for. Unfortunately the vendor left it in a right state. I'm really annoyed. REALLY annoyed. It's filthy and he's left loads of stuff in it, like humongous pot plants he didn't want, about 50 old tins of paint in the cellar, an old deep fat fryer, bits and bobs in drawers and cupboards, an old duvet... The list goes on. I've never bought a house before, but it seems to me that it's completely out of order. DH thinks I'm more annoyed than I should be. Suppose it's just disappointing. Only took one cross word from DH whilst we were there and I was locked in the toilet bawling my eyes out. I've been so looking forward to moving in for so long and now the amount of work I have to put in to make it habitable just seems insurmountable. And the fact I've to do it on my own for the next few days... Arrggh. Mustn't be miserable. It's such a great house. I'm very lucky.

Wonder if my phone and more importantly, my broadband, be on tomorrow?

Lwatkins · 09/01/2007 21:16

Twelveyear, get straight on the phone to your estate agents and tell them what a state the house has been left in. It should be in the contract that you have all signed that the house would be left in a reasonable living condition, and the seller would remove all of their furniture and any other items. The agents should then get on to the seller and demand they come and clear it out, or pay some removal people to do it for them. It's distgusting when people do this, you've just bought their freakin house of them, the least they could do is clear it out of all their crap! It's not your job to clear their stuff up so if i were you i would deffo have a moan about it and see if something can be done. If it is in the contract than they have just broken a written contract agreement. Take it easy hun, and don't go overdoing it x

InTheseShoes · 09/01/2007 21:49

Hurray!Had my scan today, and all is well, baby was GAWJUS! Loved the detail, it's changed so much since my ds was being scanned, I couldn't believe everything I could see, fingers, the lot! I have to go for a Glucose Tolerance Test on Tuesday because my Dad has Diabetes and I had a big baby last time.

You are all so chatty in this group! It takes me ages to catch up with it all - I think I'm (just) on top of it - sounds like we're all having very similar pregnancies, which is why it's so great to be able to compare notes.

Jonah - I wasn't in Sale Caffe Nero this weekend - was being unfaithful to the lovely staff there and hanging out in the Trafford Centre one instead - and it's not stalkery at all - I am always on the lookout for five foot tall ladies with toddlers in tow there... I just wonder what on earth I would say if I thought someone was you. I think I'd walk past and sort of cough "jonahB" and see if there was any reaction - then it would look like a sort of bizarre throat clear if it wasn't you!

I wonder if we're going to the same nursery - the fees sound the same.

twelveyeargap · 09/01/2007 22:14

Glad it's not just me being picky! Phew. Never thought of speaking to the estate agents. I'm going to try to dig out the contracts and stuff from the filing cabinet and see if I can find anything. I'm sure I read something about him having to take all his rubbish/ items. We'd agreed one or two things he could leave, but not all this crap. I've got a bee in my bonnet now. Thanks.
