We're handholding for the newly graduated viroids and handing out hooyahs to badly behaved miroids. Between womble pains and boobs with veins, some of us are still managing to shag! It's JS Grads 47!

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 47th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 46th grads thread is here

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 60th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

So, 24wk scan today(24+4) and Littlest Twin is not happy. She has reduced blood flow through her cord, which is a Bad Thing and is only just over 500g, which is also Not Good. She is very active and moving though, which is a Good Thing.

I have been moved up to twice weekly scans with Doppler to assess her progress. I've had the first of two steroid injections to help the girls lungs out and have been told to sort out my hospital bag now.

My consultant is reserving the right to do a c-section at any point in the next 6 weeks. They don't think I'll get past 30wks. There is physically nothing I can do to help the girls (and nothing I have done has caused this either). It's one of the risks of monochorionic twins...

CarrotPuff · 04/04/2016 19:27

Ooh how intriguing Sock! Any ideas what it might be?

FuzzyOwl · 04/04/2016 19:56

Sending lots of positive vibes and hope the twins safely stay put for as long as possible Mermaid.

I think I need the Parisian Bakery Sock - both on Ovia and reality! Grin

SockQueen · 04/04/2016 19:59

No idea - it's not my birthday/our anniversary or anything, and I can't think of much that I've particularly expressed a wish for recently. I did get him that "pregnancy for men" book and I suspect he's been reading it and taking tips, so who knows!

SockQueen · 04/04/2016 20:16

Sorry about your scan, Mermaid - must be really scary. Gx that Littlest twin keeps growing and blood supply stays good for as long as possible.

fruitlovingmonkey · 04/04/2016 20:31

Gx crossed for you Mermaid. Hope she has a growth spurt before your next scan.
Grin at sex melon Sock!
RL corgi is gorgeous! I love corgis with their happy little faces. Glad he/she is doing ddog duty.
After 9 months of waiting we finally have lovely fitted wardrobes! I'm so excited. No more living with clothes on the floor/in suitcases. DH has already warned me not to encroach on his side not sure where he got that idea from

OP posts:
lildottie · 04/04/2016 22:08

So sorry corgi, have posted to you on ugs x

pee I never snore, except now apparently. I'm like an unstoppable snoring thing!

fruit yay for wardrobes!

mer how scary for you. Gx for lots of growth and being able to keep them in there a bit longer. Think you could become a super queue jumper!

CarrotPuff · 04/04/2016 22:44

Merm keeping everything crossed for you that the girls keep growing as long as possible inside you Thanks

Sock did you get your surprise yet?

lildottie · 04/04/2016 22:47

So I think my nipples have started to leak, judging by my clean in last night sleep shirt that I've just put on again! Looks like it might be time to invest in some sleep bras!

Canters15 · 05/04/2016 07:56

Oh mer that sounds a bit scary, hope you can keep those babies in as long as possible.

sock I am so jealous of your easy access to ultrasound- community psych is not the job to do when you're desperate to peak at your baby! Having said that my previously limited scanning skills are probably non existant these days. Id probably be bonding with my bladder or something. Are you planning to find out the gender?

Peenut · 05/04/2016 09:54

Sorry to hear that Mer. Hope little twin continues to grow and they both stay safely inside you for as long as possible. Must be very scary but it's good that the doctors are ON IT checking for any signs that it's time to have the baby early. I'm sure you are in very good hands. Fingers crossed for you delivery is as late as possible x

SockQueen · 05/04/2016 12:27

Blush So it turns out that the present in the study is not, in fact, a thoughtful gift from Mothercare/WorldOfBabyCrap, but LoveHoney. Blush Still appreciated, Wink but not what I was expecting when I posted excitedly on here!

Canters still undecided about finding out the sex. DH wants to, I quite like the idea of a surprise. I suspect we'll end up seeing what happens on the day.

FuzzyOwl · 05/04/2016 15:21

Glad to hear about your wardrobes fruit.

Hope you can find some comfy sleep bras lil.

So what is it Sock?

Just spoken to my doctor's surgery and I have a uti which could well explain all the horrific side pain I have had which I assumed was me miscarrying and ignored. Blush At least it will be nice to be able to sleep on my side again after the antibiotics kick in.

FeatheredTail · 05/04/2016 17:36

Oh Mer that sounds like a stressful situation. Hope you're ok. Really great that the docs have picked up on blood flow issues though and that you can try to use this time to mentally prepare for what might be an earlier birth than you anticipated Flowers

Sock between the sex melon comment and love honey gift, you have emerge as a true JSer! My advice is to shag as much as possible now. I'm nearly 35 weeks and feel like a giant, unsexual egg.

Also got the slightly leaky boobs Lil! Get two white spots in the middle of my black bra cups each day. They mysteriously show no signs of leakage when I look at them directly though....

Corgi hope you're doing ok. Real corgi is just gorgeous.

Peenut · 05/04/2016 19:40

Grin a giant unsexual egg Feathered!

Love Honey gift! Te he. I'm imagining you peeking in the room thinking it was a new mosesbasket or similar!

Pregnancy has made my body feeble. Pulled a muscle in my back by answering the phone. Ow. Ow. Ow!

Discofairypants · 05/04/2016 20:12

I'm so sorry Corgi, hope you're bearing up ok.

Haha feathered I hear ha! Feeling very round here too.

lildottie · 05/04/2016 20:48

Exactly feathered! I'm like, where is it coming from, I can't see it!

Hope your doing OK today mer

fuzzy glad you got some antibiotics. O had uti picked up at my booking appt despite zero symptoms. Have been drinking cranberry juice regularly since!

sock jealous of it lovehoney present. Dh isn't interested in looking at me ATM! Was it you or yoga who had GTT on Friday? Can't remember sorry. Anyway just wonder if whoever it was got their results. I got mine today. Very unexpectedly I have GD. Luckily the lovely sky has been helping me today and I'm off to look at the info she's linked me to now. Need to add "fuck tonne of chocolate" to my hospital bag list!

YogaPants · 05/04/2016 21:57

Haha Feathered, I'm sure eggs can be sexy too!

Sorry to hear you have been diagnosed with gd Lil. It wasn't me who had the gtt but it's good that Sky can help advise you.

In the past week or so I have lost the ability to see my fanjo beyond my bump. All the talk on here about the difficulties of personal grooming are suddenly becoming clear to me.

5hell · 05/04/2016 22:05

Have completely fallen off the Fred for a few days...
corgi so sorry to hear about your mc :( take care of yourself and don't loose heart

tri hope u and little one are well and back home now

I can't imagine how worrying it must be mer, but the NHS are amazing and the extra monitoring will ensure everything is just fine

Chubs is doing well and has put on weight at today's day 5 check [Insert proud emoji], bit jaundiced, met his gps and auntie today Grin

Top tip for bag packing / postpartum = tena lady pants - no leak worries and v comfortable

FuzzyOwl · 05/04/2016 22:06

I feel like I am mimicking your pregnancy lil with no symptoms and now a uti that I also was completely unaware of! Hopefully it means all will continue to go well for me though.

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 06/04/2016 01:26

Sending you a hug and a handhold mer. I am sure your docs will do an excellent job of looking after the twins. Remember that they always have to cover all the scenarios but that it is possible to have better outcomes than what you need to prepare for. You are incredibly strong.

Mermaid36 · 06/04/2016 06:58

Thanks everyone! I'm actually feeling ok at the moment. Had both steroid injections now, will finish emergency hospital bag today. Next scan is Friday (then Monday, then Friday...etc)
I am now signed off work - heading in today to hand in sicknote and my kit and that's it!
Handily, I'm not actually on mat leave until the babies arrive, I'm on paid sickness. These are the days I am thankful for working for a large international company with good policies/benefits!

lildottie · 06/04/2016 07:33

Yay for paid sick leave mer! That's awesome! Glad you are feeling OK

fuzzy lol maybe try not to mimick the eating too much chocolate and getting gd and ul be grand Grin

Peenut · 06/04/2016 09:30

Hooray for paid leave Mer! Sorry it's because things aren't going swimmingly but fingers crossed the extra rest will help. Just think of all the nesting/knitting/baking/sleeping you'll be able to do! (Only gently though, put your feet up!)

This morning I have had back spasms, and for the first time, I sneezed and fully pissed myself. Like an actual gush of wee. I feel very pregnant. Smile

FuzzyOwl · 06/04/2016 09:54

Glad you are on paid leave now Mer and you are feeling ok at the moment.

I love chocolate lil so no guarantees there! Grin
