We're handholding for the newly graduated viroids and handing out hooyahs to badly behaved miroids. Between womble pains and boobs with veins, some of us are still managing to shag! It's JS Grads 47!

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 47th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 46th grads thread is here

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 60th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

I haven't got the breakdown of results Chat - might give the midwife a call in a few days to see if she can shed any light.

CountryGal4 · 07/04/2016 15:51

Chat were here. It must be Worrying but great news about heartbeat. Gx

FuzzyOwl · 07/04/2016 16:21

You never need an excuse to eat chippy-chips wherever you want Mermaid!

lildottie · 07/04/2016 19:07

Oh chat I have everything crossed that your little bean sticks. Here for hand holding. Do you get another scan to check on things?

mer I'm jealous of your chips. Just finished my fish pie and praying I didn't over do the potato. I find out when I do my next blood sugar reading!

Had a high reading after breakfast this morning. Kind of made it real that I do actually have this. My suoid GP has only given me a prescription for 50 test strips bit 200 needles! I'm testing a min of 4 times a day so 50 is not going to last long at all! Hoping to get another prescription for 200 tomorrow!

WellErrr · 07/04/2016 19:16

Ooh I'd love some chippy chips!

Had a mortifying experience in the supermarket today. In the freezer aisle, DS spied the chips and asked if we could pwease PWEASE get some, to which I said no, we had chips last time, we can't have them every time.
Now, he's been very interested in What Food Does lately ('what does broccoli do?' 'Make you big and strong' 'what does milk do?' 'It's good for your bones' 'what do chips do?' 'Nothing, they're just nice but they can make you fat if you eat them all the time').
He thought for a moment, then looked at a very large lady at the freezer and said 'but THAT wady is having loooaaads of chips! She got too many though because she's VEWY fat. That's what chips do. Be nice and make you fat'

I was so so embarrassed. All the shite I come out with when under constant questioning really does get stored in there.

I hope she didn't hear but I think she did. Feel awful! Blush

YouBastardSockBalls · 07/04/2016 19:17

Another forgetful NC.

It'd be weird if I didn't do it now Grin

ChatEnOeuf · 07/04/2016 19:24

YB your DS sounds brilliant Grin. DD tried to tell me that I had to let her have more chocolate the other day. ...'because it's milk chocolate mummy, and you said milk is good for me'. That was me told.

Yes Lil, I've another scan arranged for next Weds to check on things. All I can do is rest and hope. Thankfully work are being very understanding and I'm under no pressure to hurry back.

FuzzyOwl · 07/04/2016 20:49

Glad your work is being understanding Chat and hope you see another heartbeat on Wednesday.

YB your DS has made me laugh! I hope she didn't hear but at least you know your DS is paying attention to what you say.

lildottie · 07/04/2016 21:51

Glad work are being good chat hope you can take it easy and rest so that bean can snuggle in.

YB lol! Love it. But hopefully he wasn't overheard!

Question.....what maternity towels is everyone buying? I can only seem to find stupid 10packs of thin ones in tesco, local boots and asda. So also where are you buying, and how many?

WellErrr · 07/04/2016 21:59

I steered well clear of maternity towels after day one child one.

They don't stick.
They don't have wings.
They go all over the place.
They leak.
It's like having a surfboard down your pants.

Normal bodyform with wings all the way for me - heavy or night ones. My loss was never awful though, I think they suck a fair bit out with a section. Or maybe I was just lucky!
Dragged on for almost 6 weeks though...!

FuzzyOwl · 07/04/2016 22:11

I used normal night towels last time as well and they were better than the pack of maternity ones I had bought.

CarrotPuff · 08/04/2016 01:49

Sock when I was having DS my screening results came back as 1:250. Which was low risk, but default risk for my age at the time was 1:1200, so it didn't seem low at all! It got me worried at the time, but he's perfectly healthy. Your result is still very low, I wouldn't worry about it, although I know it's hard Thanks

Don't get me started on maternity towels. Why on earth they don't put wings on them, it really is a no brainer, isn't it? I leaked so much this time, it's ridiculous. But I don't think they recommend regular towels though. Boots sell thick mat towels, tescos and Sainsbury's do too.

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 08/04/2016 04:03

I used the asda maternity towels. The thin ones have wings. I switched to those after a couple of packs of the thick ones. I delivered vaginally both times so had quite a lot of lochia first few days then it tapered off and became more like a period.

WellErrr · 08/04/2016 06:39

Why don't they recommend normal towels? I vaguely remember that too.

lildottie · 08/04/2016 07:28

I think the mothercare ones might have wings. Also interested why they don't recommend normal towels, surely they're all the same thing?!

sky any advice on how many to get in advance? Im 100% in denial not having a c section!

CountryGal4 · 08/04/2016 07:33

Yes to asda ones. I did the same as sky couple of days then switch to their thinner ones with wings. Not supposed to use non mat ones as they're scented snd can cover up if your Bits have gone a bit wrong

WellErrr · 08/04/2016 07:49

Ah that's why! I never buy scented, which is surprisingly hard and rules out Always! Bodyform are ok though. I used them with both, no fanjo issues and planning on doing the same again this time (def not scented though - I don't need a foof stinking of lily of the valley).

ChatEnOeuf · 08/04/2016 08:04

I had the thick maternity ones - much more comfortable to sit down on - all of the padding helps when your fanjo's been butchered. Also get some aromatherapy oils to aid healing. I think I had three packs of ten, then went onto night towels when it started settling down.

FeatheredTail · 08/04/2016 08:06

Lil the superdrug ones win awards (!!) so I stocked up on around 4-5 packs of those. Ordinary pads aren't recommended because a) if they need to be weighed to see how much blood you're losing, the inner core makes them heavier - mat towels are more basic and give a more accurate weigh in and b) the top layer is designed not to stick to stitches.

That's what they told me in NCT anyway!

Chat how are you today?

FeatheredTail · 08/04/2016 08:08

Oh, I also bought a box of "tucks" witch hazel soaked haemmoroid pads (look like big nail polish removal pads) to stick on top of the mat towels. Not sure if they'll be any good, but will let you know if they offer any relief!

ChatEnOeuf · 08/04/2016 08:24

Ah yes, stitches. I know there was something else.

I'm much the same, thank you Feathered. Still bleeding, but no clots yet. Still a little queasy, and a lot terrified. I have no idea how something so tiny could cling on through this.

FeatheredTail · 08/04/2016 08:30

That's a few days of bleeding without clots....so I'm going to stay optimistic for you. Hand holding.

corgi88 · 08/04/2016 09:25

just popping in to send love and sticky thoughts to chat's bean. gx gx, hang on in there!

Peenut · 08/04/2016 09:47

I never knew they weigh the maternity towels. I don't suppose it's the first fact other mums tell you!

I hope things go all quite on the blood loss from Chat. Is a haematoma the bruise that you can get from implantation?

Oh YB, that chip story made me laugh.

MAN CRISIS UPDATE: Miroid is being a bit more sensitive and isn't putting all his woes on me in a dumping fashion. We have spoken about how he feels though and as it was done in an calm sensible fashion I think it helped him and me.

He has been doing some bump bonding and was singing songs in bed to the bump last night. Baby wriggled loads! Tried not to let on that actually I really wanted to fall asleep and went along with it until song three when I started snoring.

Oh the flipping snoring. If I lie on my back I wake myself u snorting, if I lie on my side my neck freezes. I need a pregnancy massage and contraband decongestant

YogaPants · 08/04/2016 09:51

How difficult Chat! Gx for little bean sticking on in there.

Hope your scan goes well today Mer! We'll be here if you end up getting admitted.
