So glad all went well emma
Oh no seeing sounds very stressful, I'm glad they're looking after you though. Very sorry to hear about your home birth.
Have a lovely break mrspopper I'm not jealous at all Grin
I really need to get organised and get my hospital bag packed!

bikingintherain · 16/04/2016 09:10

I'm afraid the dry skin in hands only gets worse when the baby is here. You have to wash your hands so much more with a new baby especially if you have anything that needs sterilising like bottles/pump etc. Its worth investing in a good moisturiser and a good hand wash.

AmIseeingRight · 16/04/2016 09:30

neha my bile is at the max for norm so not too worried but its my ALT are almost triple what they should be Hmm and so they keep running more tests and weekly monitoring plus weekly consultant appointment so its a wait and see. My results from Thursday were better then from the original tests but still too high, at lest going down in the right direction. No meds here either as they want to eliminate everything else first and only then will they confirm OC.

Mine is a full time roller but I think its normal as he has no space to kick Smile

My phone died yesterday and after food i was so tired!

I got stuck in hospital all day
Stuck in a lift in said hospital
Then soaked on the way home!!!

In the end they found the only problem with my leg was excess fluid (a lot but not to much to worry about yet!) and bp being boarder line which to the fact there's nothing new there!

Hubby treat me to an all you can eat baby and mammy where starving! I'm still in bed and can't work up the energy to move!

ILovePies · 16/04/2016 09:52

Oh booked what a nightmare day! All you can eat sounds lush though!
So glad they couldn't find anything untoward. I would stay in bed as long as I could if I were you!!

iamdivergent · 16/04/2016 10:08

My essentials delivery is coming - today Hmm by hermes so all the tracking says is out for delivery. It's a gorgeous day as well and we have to wait in as our local hermes driver won't leave parcels in safe place, she'll just take it away again and then all back to work Monday so waiting in it is! It better come or else.

LouLou030783 · 16/04/2016 13:18

iamdivergent · 16/04/2016 14:59

LouLou it came just after 11 I think it was. Happy with my goodies Grin

LouLou030783 · 16/04/2016 15:07

Aww glad u didn't have to wait in all day, I was going to be productive today and build baby changing unit but the OH has the screwdrivers in his car Hmm

iamdivergent · 16/04/2016 15:54

Oh dear!

booked83 · 16/04/2016 17:57

Glad you didn't have to wait all day! I have a 30th to attend tonight but really just want a sofa a kebab wrap (really really want one!) and my kindle/movie on!

Suppose I better so and see what still fits over bump Harry!!

LouLou030783 · 16/04/2016 18:40

Aww booked nothing worse when u really can't be bothered eh? And when u know everyone else will be having a good drink x

ILovePies · 16/04/2016 18:52

Booked usually the things you aren't looking forward are the best nights! Hope this is the case for you tonight!

For all you first timers please be prepared that saying things like 'please don't drink the bath water after you've just wee'd in it' will soon be part of your every day! Grin

I am slightly jealous of how you are all going to experience motherhood for the first time & how that sudden rush of love that everyone talks about suddenly hits you!!

booked83 · 16/04/2016 18:53

I know so cruel I had to attend a hen do pregnant as well Sadwell I'm dressed and on my way found a top that fits and maternity trousers (there a blessing!... Never had them with my other 2!)

MollieRos · 16/04/2016 19:08

booked glad all was ok, though it sounds like you had a very long day!

We've had a not very productive day of trailing round looking for carpets and paint colours, failing on both counts. I did make a brilliant discovery today though- I'm usually quite intolerant of gluten (not coeliac, just very intolerant), but weirdly since I've been pregnant I've been able to tolerate it loads better. I went for a gamble earlier and had a McDonalds (haven't had one of those in many years!), and my usually very temperamental stomach coped fine! It's funny, normally I wouldn't bother about McD's but I've been really wanting it recently. I also squeezed in a nap this afternoon, so it's been a win all round in my book Grin

HarleyQuinn90 · 16/04/2016 19:19

Hi everyone,
I was on the early June threads but disappeared for months, I wasn't a big poster anywaySmile
I will reintroduce myself I'm 31 weeks today and due baby number 4 on 18th June Grinshe's a girl which is nice as I have two boys (9 next week and almost 8) and a 6 year old girl, it's going to be strange going back to the baby stage I feel I've forgotten everythingBlush

earlgreydrinker · 16/04/2016 22:14

Hi Harley!

Left DD with DH this morning and went shopping and made a good start on my hospital bag. Also got two half price dresses in Jo Jo maman which should now see me through to the end of work which I was very pleased about. Making a big list of things I need and things we need to find again. Feeling a bit disorganised!

thats interesting mollie about the gluten because I'm the same and I have found myself eating things I wouldn't normally like my body isn't so bothered!

Potkettleblack2 · 17/04/2016 11:22

earl I did a similar big shop on Thursday-makes me feel a bit more organised too. I still have bits to get-but I'm hoping to call in to my SIL's today and pick up all the hand-me-down baby grows and vests. Once I've done that I can see what I need next!

MollieRos · 17/04/2016 11:29

Welcome back Harley!

My job for today is to pack my hospital bag (eek!) I'm 34 weeks on tuesday and my DH has been suggesting I get it sorted for a few weeks now. However, I've not yet made it out of bed (lie-in, breakfast in bed then wasting time online finding a chest of drawers for the baby's room). It's so lovely to have a slow, lazy day though, we've had so many busy DIY and decorating weekends over the last few months.

I suppose I'd better get up and get dressed...

MollieRos · 17/04/2016 11:31

Oh and earl with the gluten, I had a slice of proper toast the other day- it was amazing. And a couple of weeks ago I had half a jam doughnut, don't think I've tasted anything so delicious in a very long time Grin

MindfulBear · 17/04/2016 12:25

Hi mollie & earl
I still can't eat gluten - I feel cheated having read your posts!!

Bought some stuff for my hospital bag so starting to Feel organised. And got the baby clothes out of the boxes and starting to wash them. Now need to make a list of what is missing.... Baby sleep pouches don't seem to have come back to me :( I loved the ones from little green sheep and the merino kids one too.
www.merinokids.co.uk/newborn/cocooi-sleep-bag
Can't find the little green sheep pouch online.... Such a shame as we loved it!!

booked83 · 17/04/2016 13:03

*harley hey I have one of each and there 9 and 5 and I have the same feeling like I have forgot it all!

Afternoon ladies... Question I'm having a planned c section.... But have a feeling Harry is going to arrive by himself.
what did you do with your other children?
What if they arrived in the middle of the night?
What will I do if my hubby has a London job? (Other than cross my legs till he comes back?)

I'm 32 weeks tomorrow so starting to worry about the what ifs... Anything like his brother he will just hang around till his planned date!!

mrsmugoo · 17/04/2016 13:10

All this talk of hospital bags...I wasn't going to do mine til mat leave but picked up some size 1 nappies and water wipes in Asda today and I have all the newborn and 0-3 baby clothes out of storage so we've got the basics now anyway!
