Oh good news. Thanks loulou and laughing.

33 weeks tomorrow and I am beginning to get super impatient now to meet the baby. Dont think it will be real until then. 5 weeks to go until maternity!! My boss doesnt think I'll make it that far. Lol.

30 weeks today - how?! Feel like I need to start properly preparing now. Going to have a big clear out in the next couple of weeks and get rid of alot of junk and just generally tidy up - getting motivated is my issue as I can't be bothered to do anything atm.

Snowflake16 · 10/04/2016 13:09

nehagarg I'm the same, 33 weeks on Tuesday and getting so impatient. It doesn't help I had a 4d scan yesterday. I can't stop looking at the photos/watching the mini clips.

MollieRos · 10/04/2016 13:26

nehagarg and Snowflake I'm 33 weeks on Tuesday and I'm more wishing time would slow down! Doesn't help that we're currently in the middle of loads of building work (we have very few walls left upstairs, the ceiling is being held up by struts, and we've had to build a barricade of chairs as I'm so paranoid one of us will fall down the huge hole which drops straight to the ground floor in the night) so we feel about as far from ready as we could be! I'm just glad my first health visitor visit isn't for a few more weeks, fingers crossed there'll be less health and safety hazards by the time she comes Grin

Another weekend of DIY here- stripping wallpaper today, not fun!

kezod · 10/04/2016 16:25

Hello Ladies,
I feel like I've been away from this thread for ages, just spent over an hour catching up (when I should be writing my research proposal!), its lovely to be back and see everyone is doing so well!
Firstly Massive congratulations Belle she looks lovely and she will thrive in there, you'll get a routine going in no time!
Due to all the previous problems I've had (loosing my little on at 25 weeks) they want to induce me at 37-38 weeks this time, despite all being perfectly well. Initially the though of having the induction drug again (it was so awful last time, but my kidney had totally packed in so I think the contractions were much worse because of that) was quite a lot to stomach and I did look into ELCS, but the Fetal Medicine Unit and my local consultant are both very unhappy to consider it due to their being no need. I think I feel a bit more sorted in my own head about being induced again but I'm also a bit disappointed that they're not even prepared to discuss it.
This means I now have less than 5 weeks left of work! eeek so exciting when I think of it like that (30+2!).
I've just moved house too (why do we do this to ourselves ladies?), but I'm loving the opportunity to nest, I'm slowly sorting things out!
Hope your all feeling well ladies and sorry for the essay x

GrubbyWindows · 10/04/2016 16:52

Ouf Kezod that sounds stressful!!! Remember that you are not obliged to accept medical treatment you don't want, especially if it has not been made clear to you why it is essential. You might find that if you talk about refusing the induction they might be up for discussing things more.

dollydaydream84 · 10/04/2016 17:00

I echo what Grubby said kezod if you want an ELCS I think you are completely entitled to one, I'm certain no consultant would refuse if you cite previous trauma as the reason. Try and see if you can speak to someone else to discuss options. Sorry to hear of your previous loss xxx

kezod · 10/04/2016 17:36

thanks ladies, your echoing what many of my friends with kids have said, I have an app coming up in the next few weeks so I think discussions will be had then!
