Anyone else having problems trying to get enough fruit and vegetables? I really tried at the start to eat 5 portions of fruit and veg a day. However, now I have a banana with wetabix in the morning and then nausea kicks in and I can barely eat anything healthy.
I used to really crave apples but now I don't even really want to look at them.
I'm taking the Seven Seas Pregnancy vitamins so I'm hoping that will counteract some of the rubbish.

ChatEnOeuf · 07/04/2016 20:37

Need I'm so sorry about your DD. Take as many scans and as much reassurance as you can. It isn't easy this pregnancy after loss, and we're only just beginning the journey. I can completely appreciate the 'not too excited' feelings. There's a rainbow cave here in AN clubs - it's quiet but supportive.

Tidythatmess · 07/04/2016 20:38

Another one here who is clearly showing with baby no 3. Have been since 9 weeks and am now 11. Haven't told anyone the news yet but I'm sure they have guessed.

The top of my stomach is so bloated but the bottom is hard.

Welcome Aye and congrats!

findingmyfeet12 · 07/04/2016 20:41

I don't take anything other than folic acid. I'm trying to drink a couple of glasses of milk a day as well.

I've heard some of you mention vitamins etc that you take. I think I'll go and get some this weekend.

FuzzyOwl · 07/04/2016 20:41

Welcome Aye.

Hope tomorrow goes well fuzzy. What time is your scan?

I am not bloated at all which means another lack of symptom to worry about but I am sure I do have a mini bump. This is the third time I have got to this stage in pregnancy though.

Last night I woke up at 4am absolutely starving so ate a Double Decker

Brilliant Grin

I have Maltesers in the fridge, if I wake up again tonight, I'm channeling you and totally going for them.

Fedupithink · 08/04/2016 02:32

Wide awake after a 1am trip to the toilet. Driving myself a little mad!

Good luck for your scan Fuzzy!

Slumberparty · 08/04/2016 03:47

I'm worried I'm going to be huge - I'm snacking a lot due to nausea as soon as I start to feel hungry. Vegetables really aren't doing it for me at all but I have found a new love for apples. Other than that it's mainly junk. I went and bought salt and vinegar crisps after reading others on here talking about them and really fancied some. Well that was Tuesday and they are still untouched in the cupboard. My body suddenly decided it didn't want them any more. I even have dairy milk in the fridge which I've barely touched which is so unlike me. I don't recognise myself anymore! Dry crispbread and ritz crackers are going down well however.

INeedNewShoes · 08/04/2016 05:37

I'm carrying oatcakes with me everywhere I go. When I start feeling nauseous one of these does the trick.

Hope you got back to sleep fedup

I'm wide awake myself after waking up for a wee. I want to be asleep!

Hope all is well at your scan Fuzzy

likeawestern · 08/04/2016 06:42

Good luck for your scan fuzzyw.

Copper I love the double decker!! Want one for my breakfast now!!

I'm showing with dc3 too, baggy tops it is for the next 3 weeks!!

likeawestern · 08/04/2016 06:47

Also had my booking appointment yesterday - midwife seems lovely but she bruised both my arms trying unsuccessfully to get blood out of me! Has caught something in my left one too so it's sore the whole way down. Also wanted me to make a decision there and then about if I'd have an amnio or cvs done based on the nuchal fold screening results. Told her that was a decision is make with my husband once we had the results as she got a bit funny. Said there's no point in having it done if I won't progress with tests. Thought that really odd!! Has anyone else made a firm choice on this?

goldfinch01 · 08/04/2016 07:07

Good luck for scan this morning fuzzy.

Hello to new people!

Spottyladybird · 08/04/2016 07:10

likeawestern that sounds a bit odd.

I had my booking in yesterday too. We went through the nuchal and testing for Edwards and patau which mine offer as a combined blood test but no mention of amnio etc.

AyeAmarok · 08/04/2016 07:28

Western well done standing your ground and not letting yourself be pushed into making a decision. I'd have got into such a flap I'd have probably agreed to whatever she was pushing for.

AlbusPercival · 08/04/2016 07:29

Morning all. According to lmp I am 11 weeks today. Somehow this terrifies me.

BeedlesPineNeedles · 08/04/2016 08:02

good luck for the scan fuzzywuzzy

western how odd. Even if you had a very high risk you don't have to have any other testing if you don't want to. I could understand if she suggested finding out a bit about cvs/amnio beforehand in case you have to make a decision later.

Hi albus is it terrifying because you're getting Close to your 12 week scan? If all goes well you're more than a 1/4 of the way there.

Canters15 · 08/04/2016 08:22

western that is a bit weird. Dh and I have decided if our risk comes back higher then it should be for my age we will pay privately for harmony testing as I don't much fancy a CVS or amnio.

My scan is at 12pm tomorrow!! So nervous/excited. If it's good news I will join fb group after.

Is anyone else ridiculously constipated? I am going to have to go and buy some laxatives today to sort this out, I'm so uncomfortable.

zoomtothespoon · 08/04/2016 09:06

Blooming lax stomach muscles! I haven't told my parents yet but I think they've already guessed by how round I am! Does anyone else get this weird thing I've attached in the pics... I was about 10weeks with DC2 in this one and I get a random lump pop out. Absolutely rock solid. It happened this morning but quite low down (where i would assume baby to be) but didn't get a pic this time

Thurlow · 08/04/2016 09:37

Hi Albus, how are you doing?

I'm definitely getting big. Have my maternity trousers on for the first time today - they're a bit loose but better than tight trousers, which have been making me feel gassier and sicker. Drinking fizzy drinks like they are going out of fashion, which is very unlike me and I am worried about the sugar (have been told I will need to have a diabetes test this time as my mum has type 2) but they really do settle the stomach.

copper, I have to have a biscuit in the middle of the night if I get up to pee, but I might upgrade it to a double decker now Grin

western, well done for standing your ground. I've never heard of anyone being asked to make that decision beforehand, and how could you?

almondbutter · 08/04/2016 09:38

For those of you getting cramps/aches, I have found this to be great: www.amazon.co.uk/Tisserand-Aromatherapy-WH010-Lavender-Cushion/dp/B000Q39VZG. Nice smell, really comforting and if you lie on your side you can still drape it over your tummy (for now at least).
