I couldn't post on last thread so hope everyone finds this one!

Great pic annaB and what a lucky girl having four big brothers! I always wanted a big brother and not just because I imagined he'd have cute friends

AnnaR hope you're feeling better now. And glad everyone else seems to be doing ok. I turned 17 weeks a couple of days ago and so so so thankful that I'm eventually feeling much better! Absolutely wiped out by the end of the day but able to eat more now so I think energy will be back soon Smile

DH is off today, yay! Family coming for lunch and the sun is out...happy days

I watched Say Yes To The Dress for about five months solid! Grin

Hope I can do a bit of that again if DS is in nursery. It was great, sitting there in my pyjamas watching telly with a little soft squish falling asleep on the boob, lol.

Lilliana · 06/04/2016 20:31

I loved that time too Anna but I fear with DD it may be a less regular occurance. I think I'll look forward to her nursery sessions!!

0hCrepe · 07/04/2016 12:39

My 2 dc walk to school on their own now so I'll be embracing the pyjama sofa feeding lifestyle come September!
Had 16 week appointment today and all went well, she found the heartbeat straight away. Scan next in 3 weeks!

balalalala · 07/04/2016 12:54

One week left to my next scan! I've been feeling baby moving quite a lot the last couple of days and it kept me awake during the night so I'm knackered today. I've had a rubbish morning, I drove for two hours to a meeting to have it cancelled as I arrived. I feel like writing today off I'm in such a bad mood but still have work to do Sad

Lilliana · 07/04/2016 13:13

Had my 16week app today. Listened to baby Rosie/Spot's heartbeat which was lovely. Mw wants me to see a consultant because of my quick labour with DD. Not sure what they can do about it though!

Aceberry · 07/04/2016 20:00

Lots of 16 week appointments today including me - lovely strong heartbeat and told 20 week scan is on 29th April! Seems things are moving quite fast now!

0hCrepe · 07/04/2016 20:48

Snap for 16 week and 20week scan dates aceberry! 3 weeks and 1 day to go- time seems to be passing more quickly now!

0hCrepe · 07/04/2016 20:49

Ha ha just read your post again and we obviously agree on time passing too- hadnt realised you'd said that as well!

Danni89 · 07/04/2016 20:58

Found you! I joined towards the end of the last thread.

I'm Danni, 27, I'm due 12th Septemer.

Starting to feel movement now and very much looking forward to the 20 week scan. Mines on the 25th April Grin

I haven't bought anything for the baby yet, waiting for after the scan. Very excited to start shopping!

balalalala · 07/04/2016 21:17

Glad to hear all your 16 week appointments are going well. My dh felt baby kick for the first time this evening! Eek!

Sharesinpampers · 07/04/2016 21:21

Lovely to hear everyone's appointments are going well. Is anyone not feeling much movement? This is my 2nd pregnancy and I'm 19 weeks bump feels huge already so a bit worried that I'm not feeling much. And if I do, I'm wondering if it's just wind Blush

I'm still around, I've added myself to this list. Didn't join the Facebook group as I prefer the anonymity here. I had 16 week appointment today too, it was very reassuring to hear the heartbeat again. Haven't felt anything yet but I have an anterior placenta again as with DS. I'm a bit worried about this as I'm sure this contribute to my previous difficult labour, the midwives and consultant pooh-pooh this but there was an interesting thread on it a couple of months ago.

Time has definitely sped up for me too, helped by the fact they brought my due date forward by 4 days at the 12 week scan so I kind of gained half a week without having to do anything!

Lilliana · 08/04/2016 08:17

I'm not sure about movements either shares. It's my second too and it might be occasional movements but it might just be wind. The mw said not to worry until 22/24 weeks

Annarose2014 · 08/04/2016 08:36

I keep being dropped off the list and I'm too lazy to keep re adding myself! Ah well, it doesn't really matter.

I'm 16 weeks but have another bloody anterior placenta which I didn't want after a back to back labour last time but hey ho. At least thid time I'll know what question to ask I.e. "is it back to back and if so where's my bloody epidural! " Grin

It means not much in the way of movements yet of course. Occasionally I think I feel wee pops but it could just be wind!

Annabrooke90 · 08/04/2016 13:03

Mines anterior too Anna. I have had two back to back labours out of four and the first was horrendous and they didn't realise he was back to back until they finally got his head out, second one wasn't too bad, lots of back and bum pain still but not to the extent as ds2 and also pushing stage lots quicker.

My next scan is in 13 days so 21st, then got my consultant appointment...really want that to hurry up.

Bobbycatz · 08/04/2016 13:15

I'm glad all the appointments are going well im 16weeks today and have my midwife appointment on Tuesday, looking forward to hearing baby.

I ordered a moses basket a few days ago although it still feels a litlle early for buying stuff but it was on offer. Has anyone been to an NCT nearly new sale? I'm wondering whether it would be worth going to something like this for other stuff.

PeppaPigStinks · 09/04/2016 05:50

I've been to and sold at the nct sale - you can get some awesome bargains! There is one locally today but I feel it's a little too early to go and look for me - plus third time around I have most of the stuff.

If you can face it they are good

SockQueen · 09/04/2016 10:28

I'm going to one with MiL next weekend! Suspect she is probably more excited about it than I am.

Hi to everyone - been lurking but could really do with the moral support and handholding ATM! Lovely to meet you all. Will read posts properly in a minute.

balalalala · 09/04/2016 16:30

Hope you're ok Mrsblimey?

I'm planning to go to a nearly new sale in 2 weeks time. Just holding off till after my scan before buying anything. I'm literally counting down the days till Thursday!

MrsBlimey · 09/04/2016 18:32

Hi there balalalala - yes thanks. Light at end of tunnel and all that. It's been a tricky time with illness and work but things settling a bit now. 20wk scan is a week on Mon so I'm hoping reality will kick in and I'll actually start feeling like this baby's really going to happen! Smile

balalalala · 09/04/2016 22:20

Glad things are settling down now. Hope your scan goes well. Do you plan to find out if it's a boy or girl?

Sharesinpampers · 10/04/2016 07:03

Hello mrsblimey, welcome :)

Thanks Lilliana, that's reassuring. I'm sure it was after 20 weeks I felt movement last time too and scan is this week so not long to go. We're hopefully going to find out if boy or girl. And since DD is with her grandparents for the afternoon we're off for a celebratory curry afterwards! It's been ages since DH and I have been out together, can't wait Smile

Hope you're all having a good weekend

Morning all!
lilliana & annarose I'm definitely looking forward to those baby snuggles and as its DC1 I'm going to make the most of them!

Welcome back mrsblimey sorry you've been having a tricky time but glad it's hopefully sorting itself out!

We're hopefully going to an NCT sale next weekend - not bought anything yet but have our 20 week scan this Thurs (yay!) so hopefully it will be all systems go from there! We want to find out sex so hopefully baby won't be shy Wink Good luck for your scan shares! Do you have an inkling?

Have a lovely Sunday all ThanksBrewCake

Annabrooke90 · 10/04/2016 10:25

Good luck on the upcoming scans :)

Welcome Mrsblimey :)

I already know I'm expecting a girl after having my 16 week scan, but I had a dream the other night, she turned out a boy....so now I dare not buy anything lol. 11 days to my 20 week scan to find out for sure.

I had my second university interview yesterday (already been offered a place at another, but the one yesterday is my first preference) it went quite well, better than my last one, so I'm hoping i get a place. But they had more applications I think so I'm not hopeful. But the placements are much closer to me, as is the uni' so fingers crossed.

Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend.
