I couldn't post on last thread so hope everyone finds this one!

Great pic annaB and what a lucky girl having four big brothers! I always wanted a big brother and not just because I imagined he'd have cute friends

AnnaR hope you're feeling better now. And glad everyone else seems to be doing ok. I turned 17 weeks a couple of days ago and so so so thankful that I'm eventually feeling much better! Absolutely wiped out by the end of the day but able to eat more now so I think energy will be back soon Smile

DH is off today, yay! Family coming for lunch and the sun is out...happy days

Hi weplusthree congratulations! FlowersHow big is your bump?

I'd love a Facebook group too please!

This morning I rolled onto part of my tummy by accident, I find it so hard to sleep on side as a tummy sleeper, and had 2 distinct kicks in the area telling me to move!! Just lovely!!

Off to see gp later as my back is feeling worse after the crash. Sad

bumpingalong9386 · 09/05/2016 10:46

Hello Ladies!

Just got back from the scan - after having to go for a rather long walk / jiggle around etc as baby was laying on their tummy.....

We have another blue one to add to the group!!! Grin

Tazlet · 09/05/2016 10:48

morning all - Shabby - hope your doctor sorts you out - sounds utterly terrifying!

Oh and I have a massive smile on my face today - all my test results came back and everything was negative!!!!!! AND I have kept my breakfast down today - first time in nearly 6 months!! YAY!

LetThereBeCupcakes · 09/05/2016 11:35

Hello everybody!

It’s been a while since I’ve been on this thread but I’ve just caught up with everybody’s news. I’ve been so busy I’ve barely thought about the baby at all but things are calming down a bit, and with 17 weeks to go I need to start getting sorted!

Had our 20 week scan a few weeks back – we were very lucky as we had a trainee so a triple length appointment as she was being shown everything in great detail – it was amazing! Last time around the sonographer was so quick we could barely keep up with her – this time we saw absolutely everything in lots of detail. We’re team pink this time which DS is very excited about. I’ll update the list and post it in a second.

Bras – I’m still in my normal ones. I’ve not put much weight on (yet!) so haven’t felt the need to switch. I must dig out my maternity ones though, I’m sure I’ll need them soon.

Shabby - Hope GP can sort you out promptly. Poor you!

Tazlet - wonderful news! That must be a huge weight off your mind. So sorry you’ve been so sick, though – I had hyperemesis in the early weeks and it was truly awful. It’s been a while since I’ve been sick but the nausea is constant. Getting bored of it now!

Is anybody else feeling utterly unprepared so far? We’ve got so much we need to get done before DD arrives and so little energy to do it!

0hCrepe · 09/05/2016 15:32

Brilliant news Tazlet!

shabbychic1 · 09/05/2016 15:42

Great news tazlet and congrats lettherebe and bumping. Great news Grin.

Dr has signed me off of a week and given me exercises, I feel like I have time to breath and get myself better without worrying about work. Determined to get my back fit for when baby gets bigger! Thanks all Smile

Tazlet · 09/05/2016 15:51

Things to do before Alex arrives:

  1. complete flat renovation;
  2. Sell flat
  3. buy family home
  4. decorate family home
  5. get married
  6. have a holiday

Fat chance and no chance

shabbychic1 · 09/05/2016 18:04

Lol I have a few of those too! Grin

balalalala · 09/05/2016 21:31

Wow lots going on! Congrats on the scans and test results, glad all is progress well. Did everyone enjoy the sunshine this weekend?
My little madam has been on active overdrive for the past 48 hours. I've been desperately wracking my brains as to if I've eaten anything specific, but no, I think she's just full of beans! Really high up kicks as well, just at the bottom of my ribs! We've been thinking more on names and think I've changed my mind from the originals I had picked out. Top of the list is currently Poppy, let's see how long that lasts!

LetThereBeCupcakes · 10/05/2016 07:43

balalalala DS has named our baby Poppy, too! Not decided if we'll go with it yet but he's quite adamant and gets very upset if we suggest anything else.

If we let DS name this baby, does that mean we get to name one of his children in the future? Grin

ninecoronas · 10/05/2016 09:04

Nice one one the results Taz, that's great news. You're right about the to-do lists...mine has "sort out the bloody garden" on it but last time I tried I only dug up about 6 brambles before giving up Grin

Danni89 · 10/05/2016 10:48

I've had to request a back rest and foot stool at work #PregnantGirlProblems lol

shabbychic1 · 10/05/2016 10:50

Poppy is a lovley name! We told my DSS (4) what we were thinking of calling our boy, he immediately said oh I like 'Timmy' (not the name we said), Aw! He's being very loving toward the baby and asking about it and including it in everything which is great! When I had the accident their DM told them and he immediately asked if the baby was ok too Halo. He and my DSD keep asking when it's coming out, they're really excited. So we're glad we wanted til 20 weeks to tell them as I think theyll get a bit bored by September!
So lovely to hear how everyone is doing! Smile

MrsCeee · 10/05/2016 13:05

We had our scan this morning and everything went well. We are Team Pink!!! DH and I bought her first bunch of dresses after the scan. I'm off with DSis and my DM to get a few more girly bits this afternoon.

Lovely to hear the other scans went well too.

That's really great news, Tazlet!

Oh Shabby I'm so sorry to hear you're still in pain after your accident. I'm glad you've got some time to stay home and concentrate on feeling better without over-doing it. DH and I had a horrible accident when I was 37weeks pregnant with DS on the motorway with a HGV. The HGV drove onto our side and our car ended up stuck to the HGV and being pushed along the motorway. It was absolutely terrifying but luckily no one was hurt. Our car was written off. I didn't want to share so soon after your accident but please do be kind to yourself and take more time off work if the week is not enough.

No need for bigger bras here just yet. I've just got the task of deciding when to stop breastfeeding DS now.

MrsCee a girl! So exciting! I hope you've enjoyed shopping! I'm waiting til summer to start shopping- tho I have a few scratch mots which are so cute! Thank A for sharing that's sounds terrifying especially in a motorway! Thank god you weren't hurt! I feel lucky that mine was a much slower collision. I'm ardently sticking to the dr's exercises and have a fantastic mctimmony Chiro so I'm feeling really positive I'll get back to normal soon. Talking to family and friends about the accident has made me feel a lot better. The old favourite- it's good to talk! Smile

Danni89 · 10/05/2016 13:29

Congrats MrsCee!!

MrsCeee · 10/05/2016 13:29

I'm really glad you've got lots of support and you're finding it helpful to talk about it too. Are you finding the chiro sessions helpful too?

Annarose2014 · 10/05/2016 15:15

TEAM PINK! And zero problems!

Absolutely ecstatic as we have a little lad already and cos of my age this is our 2nd and last. So I get to have both! Feel like I've won the lottery!

MrsCeee · 10/05/2016 16:35

Annabrooke how on earth are you still managing to keep your pregnancy a secret? Do tell us your ways.

How lovely, Annarose! Congratulations! I bet you're still smiling too.

Danni I hear you on the #PregnantGirlProblems.

Dilligufdarling · 10/05/2016 17:39

Congrats to the scanistas today! Am so excited for mine on Thursday Grin

tazlet am so thrilled for you - you must be so relieved to have those worries dismissed!

Not so many pregnant girl problems here yet, definitely have the start of SPD though. I've got a consultant appointment on Thursday - due to "complications" with ds's birth so will ask then if there's anything to be done.
I'm feeling massive this week - definitely am bumping out now.
What sort of weight gain are you guys all at right now? I'm trying to keep it in better check than last time (when I put on 5 stones!!) by eating mainly healthy rather than mainly junk!

Also, are any of you very tall? I'm struggling for maternity clothes that are long enough - jeans and maxi dresses - I'm 6ft so definitely not within the bounds of "normal sizing"

balalalala · 10/05/2016 17:40

Congratulations on the girls!

balalalala · 10/05/2016 17:48

So far I've put on about 2.5kg. My bump has gotten significant now but I'm quite short so no help on the clothes front! I've been really uncomfortable the past few days with baby's movements. She's really been favouring my upper right just below my ribs and can kick so strongly already! Then she seems to like to push her bum out and create an odd lump, it feels so weird!

Annabrooke90 · 10/05/2016 19:43

MrsCeee, it is a normal thing for me haha. Ds3 I kept secret until 20 weeks and ds4 was almost 25 weeks. It is becoming rather obvious to me now though because I'm usually very petite and I have put on around a stone and half I think (not been weighed) but I don't gain weight easily usually. So I'm guessing people have suspicions. I can tell if wearing a fitted top, I have a little podge, but if wearing one that's a little bit looser then it's not noticeable...just the extra weight Grin. Going to have to tell people soon though.

Congratulations on the scans and the girls :) amazing news.
