I had my 12 week scan on Thursday. They moved me forward 2 days so I am 13 weeks today, but my due date only moved by 1 day to the 1st October - strange.

Anyway, all was well and we've told everyone now so that's been really nice. On a less good note I am feeling really sick today. Really hoping the nausea stops soon!
Now the gender guessing begins! I have put my scan pictures on some nub theory guessing websites and the majority are saying girl but some are saying boy, so we will have to wait and see who is right at the private scan we are having in 4 weeks! Can't wait!

I think girl!

Fraggleface · 26/03/2016 17:07

Hi all. I had my scan on Thursday too - all looks good and size wise the baby is a few days ahead - not sure if this affects my edd. I am still so exhausted and the nausea seems to be getting worse. I was hoping to start feeling better by now Sad. Anyone else post 12 weeks feeling worse?

Fraggleface · 26/03/2016 17:19

Just checked my medical notes and they've put edd of 4 October, rather than 7th, which is quite exciting as hopefully I can finish work 3 days earlier Smile

pod100 · 26/03/2016 17:42

Ah it's lovely seeing all these scan photos. They're excellent! It's crazy to think how much they change between 8-12 weeks.

Had a great day yesterday and totally felt like myself again. Went spinning then shopping, did 5 hours of gardening, painted the shed and went out for tea. Today I felt rubbish. Could have fallen asleep driving to the supermarket, thought I was going to pass out while shopping and have spent all afternoon on the sofa either asleep or feeling too tired to move. Can't win!

Afreshstartplease · 26/03/2016 17:44

I get very brief waves of energy, and then do too much and end up completely wiped out

I wonder if it's bp related (very low) or if I am anemic (again)

pod100 · 26/03/2016 18:44

I thought my BP might be low as I was having a lot of lightheadedness, but the midwife checked it at my first appt and said it was perfectly fine. I've not had any blood tests yet though. Apparently they do those at the scan so I've got around 3 weeks to wait

clank2 · 26/03/2016 19:13

Pod100 that's exactly how I have felt. Yesterday felt great, loads of energy, thought I turned a corner. Today walked the dog and wanted to die and throw up, feeling dizzy. Wish the bloom would start!

BadlyWrittenPoem · 26/03/2016 19:28

FIVE HOURS OF GARDENING pod? That's amazing!

Afreshstartplease · 26/03/2016 19:43

My bp was 80/50 at 8 weeks and I believe it gets lower as weeks progress do god knows what it is by now

SimileMilly · 26/03/2016 19:53

Congrats ditsy - we're now due date buddies Grin

We're also debating having a private gender scan @ 17wks

Afreshstartplease · 27/03/2016 08:30

Bleurgh I've just been really sick

11+1

Thought this should be dying off by now

BigPigLittlePig · 27/03/2016 11:52

Fresh 11+1 here too and nausea much much worse the past few days, after a brief respite. Find it hard to believe it will vanish by 12 weeks

That said, have just managed to make some easter biscuits with dd which amounts to the longest encounter with food for some weeks.

Afreshstartplease · 27/03/2016 11:57

Mine stopped once I ate, it was just first thing threw up all yesterday's food and then a load of phlegm

Yuck

Glad it's not just me anyway!

I don't remember when it stopped last pregnancy but with my DC2 I was sick until 12 weeks and then it came back at 16 for pretty much the remainder

Figgygal · 27/03/2016 19:00

I've told my parents mum shocked excited .......happy .......dad's response "you're a professional person why on earth do you want to do that" daft bugger

LisaTheGreek · 27/03/2016 19:27

Wow, Figgy...... Was that a joke or serious? Confused

FuzzyOwl · 27/03/2016 19:32

Oh Figgy! Shock

Figgygal · 27/03/2016 19:40

He is very socially awkward and generally doesn't know how to react to things......or the fact that his daughters clearly been "at it" so is just typical. He's not mean just hopeless Confused

Afreshstartplease · 27/03/2016 19:53

I am not looking forward to telling my dad

JulietteL · 28/03/2016 11:06

A little off topic, but I've been watching the Night Manager (along with most of the adult population I suspect) and while I know it was just because Olivia Colman just happened to be pregnant when they approached her to the part, it is quite refreshing to see a pregnant woman as a main character, and particularly one as strong and independent as she was portrayed in the series.

Allhallowseve · 28/03/2016 12:37

Hi everyone the thread seems to have gone a bit quiet hope everyone is having a nice Easter weekend . 12+1 here. Have scan on Thursday iv managed to hold out and it will be my first scan feeling nervous and excited. Still feeling sick in the afternoons until I go to sleep and exhausted. Hoping the sickness will start easing soon. Anyone else got scans this week?

Afreshstartplease · 28/03/2016 12:58

11+2

11 days til scan

Peppaspants · 28/03/2016 13:16

Hi allhallowseve I've got my scan tomorrow when I will be 12+4. Feeling quite nervous but it has actually been good that's it is just after Easter as I've been too busy with DS and visiting to worry too much. Luckily it's in the morning so not too long to wait about. Fingers crossed for everyone having theirs this week too.

fairgroundsnack · 28/03/2016 13:47

Hello everyone, I seem to have fallen off the list again - due 20 October with #3.

Having a nice quiet weekend now MIL has gone home! I have a scan and bloods for Harmony test tomorrow morning, itpf that comes back fine will be happy! I'm enormous already at 10+4 with no hope of hiding it - I'm quite petite and everything just seems to have expanded really rapidly with #3!

MsFiremanSam · 28/03/2016 14:28

Good luck with scans for people having them this week. 12+2 here and STILL no date 😁
First day in weeks where I haven't felt sick! Hoping this is the end.
