Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 46th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 45th grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 59th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates. I really hope that worked!

Yay Sky. Gx the noisy lady buggers off home so you can have some peace. Felt any contractions yet? Do you stay in for the night?

Mer - hahaha, sorry, but I just love boxers so much (you have boxers right?) and the idea of the duck being completely outraged/covered in boxer slobber made me laugh.

Pee we used to look after (almost part own) a lovely, lovely darling little dog (bichon frise) who was OBSESSED with playing with bigger dogs. She would seek out the largest/most fearful looking dog in the forest and shoot off to cavort with it. The most uncomfortable time for me was when her chosen playmate was a massive, muscly-come-flabby rottweiller. Thankfully it just looked confused/pained by her attempts at getting it to chase her rather than eating her.

Lil my bump had a really big growth spurt around 27 - 30 weeks (and has kept on getting alarmingly bigger each day). It's definitely when I started feeling tightenings, which I presume were/are BH.

Ill happy anniversary! 13 years is amazing! DH and I are 3 years behind - it's our ten years together anniversary (shaggaversary) on 31 March. I hope you're finding a way to manage the anxiety - I can imagine how your heart must lurch every time you see spotting. That said, it's good (not the right word, but) that it's brown and not fresh red blood. How many weeks until you can have an abdo scan? Hope you don't have long to wait.

I've felt awful all day. Upset stomach, overtired. etc. I've been working from home in my dressing gown, in bed. Urgh. I have the next week off thankfully....and then mat leave....amazing mat leave....is just around the corner.

Mermaid36 · 18/03/2016 18:02

News from my duck - duck is perfectly fine and seems to have suffered no ill effects from being dragged around the garden

lildottie · 18/03/2016 18:48

Lol at nfmduck! Glad it's OK and utlve not suffered I'll effects either! Dh definitely needs to be on fence duty this we!

sky hooray for getting things started! Sorry you had a bad start to the morning but hopefully that will soon be forgotten and ull be having newborn snuggles! Do the DDS know what's happening? Bet they're excited if they do! Waving fanjo bunting in anticipation.

ill I can't offer any advice as I didn't have any spotting but sending you a comforting hand squeeze. Brown is "good" and spotting is not uncommon. Remember there are ppl who don't know they are pg until they give birth because they're periods don't stop! I find it helps to focus on the other extreme Smile

Canter's very interesting about scan theory. I've had scans at 8, 12, 20 and 25 weeks so far and also have them at 28 and 33 weeks. Didn'tget rid of the anxiety in the beginning but who knows how bad I'd have been without them! At least I'm getting my money's worth given I paid to get pg! Grin

Thanks to all for the BH/bump advice. I'm now thinking maybe not BH as bump doesn't really change shape. Maybe it is just baby having a growth spurt and running out of room. I've definitely grown since the 25wk mw appt when they sent me for growth scan. Had to take my belly bar out finally last night as it's started to get sore :(

chat how are you feeling? It's so lovely to have you back here.

carrot glad ur nipples are recovering! Boo for cold though. But you know what they say about feeding a cold passes the mini eggs Easter cakes

Tri and wool sending you dilating thoughts! And waving fanjo flags for you to try and coax them babies out ;)

Mermaid36 · 18/03/2016 19:01

lil and canters I've had scans every other week since I was 16wks (thanks multiple birth clinic) and will continue throughout my pregnancy. I really look forward to seeing my girls at them - dunno how I'd cope if I just had my 20wk scan and nothing else!

KateBeckett · 18/03/2016 23:21

Hey viroids Flowers
I am feeling much better thank you pee . My bump is starting to look less like cake too Grin though everyone keeps telling me it is tiny and I don't look 6 months pregnant... I keep thinking 'yes, well df and I were both teeny babies, and I keep being sick sooooo...' And trying to smile and nod!
Aw glad you are starting to feel him/her (?) more despite placenta being in the way!

The time away from work is doing wonders, but feel v anxious at the thought of going back... Had an appointment with occupational health man who was very nice, and he laid out lots of different scenarios which is helpful. We'll see what happens, I'm not back for a while yet so should prob not think about work for a while!

sky hope the noisy woman has gone, and that things are going well! Gx you have a lovely squishy arrival very soon.

mer Grin your duck story made me chuckle! (As did the fact my phone tried to autocorrect duck to dick!) Hope the poor thing is okay!

tri I hope things get moving soon for you. Come on baby pre emptive Pom poms

Ill Brew sorry you are feeling worried. It sounds like spotting is very common, and brown is much better than red. I'd say try not to worry, but...!

Eek, hope you feel better soon feathered Brew

Right, I am off to bed for the last time in my 20's! Tomorrow I will be a proper grown up, pregnant, engaged, home owning and 30! (I will still feel like a child though won't I?!) made the mistake of inviting my oldest friend to stay as we are going out for a birthday meal... Unfortunately this means her twatbag fiancé is also coming (he who last time asked about my pregnancy, then acted like a 10 year old and told me to stop talking about it, plus announcing he was off to take a dump before they left the next day...) which I am not looking forward to! Expect venting! Still, I am looking forward to my meal out, and seeing friends!

Night all Grin

Ohwoolballs · 18/03/2016 23:22

Cheers lil I'll also take some of those wee Easter buns 😁
I also took out my belly bar many moons ago, make sure you go ape shit with the coco butter/coconut oil as a few chums got their only stretch marks directly from the scar healing. I haven't got any at all! touches wood frantically not sure how much of that is luck or genetics but my skin is lovely and well loved for the first time in yonks.

mermaid just told DP the Dog and Duck story, I hope you're feeling better, it's definitely one to remember!

Just walked round the village with DP and made sure I did lots of power strides, totally channeling my inner sporty trijo

lildottie · 18/03/2016 23:31

Bern getting dh to apply the bio oil PM and Mama bees belly butter am since 16weeks wool Grin even on my boobs! I'm hoping my piercing won't heal, my mum's didn't but she was much older. Might just poke a bar through daily!

mer that's a lot of scans! Would drive mead having to park in the hospital car park that frequently! Lol

5hell · 19/03/2016 06:17

Oh I do wish my body hadn't decided that 5:30am is the best/only time for pooping...even at the weekend! I mean I'm grateful not to be constipated but it's a bit annoying!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATE! Cake FlowersCake (hope teabag behaves, but at least you're forewarned)

5hell · 19/03/2016 06:18

*twatbag! !! Angry

ChatEnOeuf · 19/03/2016 08:03

Happy birthday Kate! Hope you enjoy your day.

Feathered can't believe you're ready for mat leave already!

I'm okay thanks Lil, 5+2 and still no real symptoms. I've booked in with the midwives so should have an appt soon. I'll be getting extra scans but not sure how many exactly. All being well I'll see my consultant at 12w and get a firm plan.

Loving the duck story Grin

fruitlovingmonkey · 19/03/2016 08:04

Bollocks, just lost a massive post Angry
Grr for inconsiderate body clocks Shell. How was your last day at work?
Mermaid glad DDuck has recovered from being slobbered on. Your life does sound idyllic with the dogs and ducks and TWINS!
Happy birthday Kate! Cake I'm just a couple of weeks behind you and I don't feel like a proper grown up. I was getting small bump comments at your stage and now I'm getting big bump comments. People have no idea what size it should be. Also, the months thing is confusing because gestation is more like 10 months so it depends if you round up or down.
Hope you're doing a baby Sky!
I had a horrible nightmare last night and woke up crying and scared to go back to sleep. I also had a dream that I wandered into my neighbours' apartment and made myself some toast, then they kept thanking me for coming round. Will try to focus on that one instead of the horrific one.
Sorry for all the worry ill, just remember different egg/sperm/lining/embryo. Happy anniversary too x
I get a scan every 5 weeks and I love it. Have already told DH we can't move back to the UK until we are done having babies, not sure I could cope with just 2 scans.

TriJo · 19/03/2016 09:37

/high-fives Ohwoolballs

Lovely swim yesterday evening but still no signs of anything - little dude happily wriggling away and continuing to be a little too comfortable. Due date tomorrow...

Mermaid36 · 19/03/2016 09:43

Happy weekend ladies!

My hips and pelvis feel a bit better this morning (after yesterday's impromptu run down the garden), think I'll just have to rest plenty and hope I've not done any permanent damage.

I'm off for lunch with the girls today (whilst DH does some more decorating) then hopefully a chilled out night.

FuzzyOwl · 19/03/2016 11:14

Mermaid glad your duck is ok.

Happy Birthday Kate! Glad to hear the time away from work is helping. Hope you have a lovely day. Chocolate

SockQueen · 19/03/2016 11:39

Happy birthday Kate Cake Flowers

Sorry I've been MIA most of this week viroids, I'm on holiday in the French Alps, with my usual group of friends who I normally ski with every year, but decided not to take the risk this time. It's been gorgeous and very relaxing, not looking forward to going back to work on Monday.

Do any of you lovely folk know when I need to sign up for NCT? I'd quite like to do one of their courses for the social side (as well as some education for DH) but we're hoping to move house to a different before the Socklet arrives, so I'm not sure when and where I should start looking into it/booking.

TriJo · 19/03/2016 12:11

We signed up in November for a course starting in late January and running through February Sock. I do think we could have left it a little later though.

The ladies from my group were lovely, was over with some of them yesterday afternoon drinking tea and eating scones. :)

lildottie · 19/03/2016 12:48

Hi all

Happy birthday Kate Cake

sock I booked at 20 weeks. The course dates are given on website based on edd. Just book for where u think ull be for the dates maybe? I too was early so you could leave it much later I'm a mental case control freak who has to feel organised!

Taking sky's silence as a good sign waves bunting

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 19/03/2016 13:32

Hi all! So my 24 hour pessary came out and apparently I hadn't dialated any further... the consultant was talking waiting 6 hours before trying another pessary which is not what I had agreed with my consultant and I demanded to see registrar and rang up DP (who had been sent home to rest) nearly in tears to complain that I had been promised only 1 pessary before being moved on... It appears that I have just been too chilled out and I needed to get het up as then I was put on monitor and began contracting and it would appear my waters are leaking! Praying this is it!

FuzzyOwl · 19/03/2016 13:43

I plan on doing an NCT course this time as well since I have moved recently and it would be nice to meet people locally.

Thinking of you Sky and hope it is not much longer.

Illiria · 19/03/2016 15:07

Happy birthday Kate

Sorry they weren't listening to you Sky hope you are moving along now.

Tmi but Nfmlowerhalf: well last night had v loose bm, had some cramping and a string of red egg white cm then cramping stopped and back to brown cm this morning. No cramping but my guts are unhappy. Zero idea what's going on. Boobs still hurt but not almost thrown up since yesterday so could be that symptoms are going. Another internal scan might just aggravate it so spending weekend on sofa. Might go out for lunch for bbq though as I love brisket

lildottie · 19/03/2016 16:11

ill we've all sat here worrying about symptoms disappearing in the early weeks it is not a reliable indicator if anything as even if it's all fine they can come and go. The fact the spotting is still brown and only a bit of red with the cm is still "good" - after all cm sits in the cervix so chances are that's where the blood is from rather than from where ur bean is. Definitely definitely spend the weekend relaxing on the sofa/ sat next to a bbq and try to be as relaxed and positive as you can. Do you suffer with cold feet? If u do then get a hwb on your back on kidneys (tip from my acupuncturist) as kidneys are closely linked to fertility and cold feet is a symptom of an imbalance. Also try to do positive visualisation, ie imagine embryo snuggling in and the cells multiplying. Sounds corny I know but really helped me. Can only imagine how anxious you are feeling if ur spotting. Is it worth asking them to check your progesterone levels?

sky bless you. Glad you've put your foot down and stayed firm. Really hope things have started to move and you are sneezing minisky out before too long.

5hell · 19/03/2016 16:50

ill I second lil's good advice...take it easy, look after yourself, rest, and try to be positive.

sock I checked the NCT website quite early on to get an idea of the courses on locally (though was too early to book my course as it turned out)...so I'd search the nct website for courses near where you are now, and near where you'll be, because you may find it's the same course anyway (unless you're moving far!). Our nct group cover a 30+ mile radius, which isn't ideal, but don't think it will stop us supporting each other and being friends. In fact the 4 couples who haven't yet popped met up today - lovely time :)

dh and I also did a dry run to the hospital and walked through to the MLU, so we're both confident where it is (assuming all is well and I end up there!).

beginning to wonder if I actually am having BH...i though it was just chubs stretching/moving into an odd position, but now i'm wondering if the occasional odd hard bump shape is in fact bh???

gx gx gx gx for you sky

Illiria · 19/03/2016 16:58

Lil feeling much better. Have put hot water bottle on back, thanks for the tip. Don't think they will do the progesterone tests, unless I have three miscarriages.

Illiria · 19/03/2016 16:58

You guys are all awesome, thank you for all the hand holding

lildottie · 19/03/2016 19:01

Can't hurt to ask anyway ill. You may get a sympathetic GP. If I had any progesterone left I'd send you it but I made use of every last one as I was so petrified of stopping them!
