Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 46th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 45th grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 59th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates. I really hope that worked!

heads off to Google nipple shields to be fair sky it's more annoying than painful in denial about how bad it's going to be when I'm feeding Hmm

lildottie · 13/03/2016 20:51

OK, I googled Confused

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 13/03/2016 21:03

Nothing is as bad as it seems on google! I think I used them for awhile with DD...

lildottie · 13/03/2016 21:17

Very fair point Grin

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 13/03/2016 21:20

GrinGrinGrin don't get spooked!

lildottie · 13/03/2016 22:10

Spooked no, more confused. This is a whole new concept I didn't know existed. It's like a gum shield for your boob, that's just bonkers Grin

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 13/03/2016 22:33

Can help if they are cracked. Sometimes getting started out can be painful... I think I needed them short term with DD at one point. It feels like a lifetime ago...

SecondCupOfTea · 13/03/2016 23:29

Sorry for delayed update, but strop baby was born at 1030 today, a chunky 8 and a half pounds, and is the most gorgeous, laid back little chilled out dude I've ever met.

Labour did not go to plan, ended up with an epidural, episiotomy, and ventouse cos he was back to back. It was worth every painful minute.

Pics on facebook group, birth story to follow, also on facebook.

Dusts off bunting for the next in line...

TriJo · 14/03/2016 00:28

Congratulations Tea :)

You might want to save that bunting for the rest of March Madness - snowball's chance in hell of me being next to pop!

Illiria · 14/03/2016 01:29

Congratulations Tea :-)

5hell · 14/03/2016 06:01

Last week at work, woohoo!

Couple of reorganising/preparation disasters yesterday... spare bed does not fit up stairs to top bedroom; we have ready got rid of spare bed that was in that room; hence antique wardrobe from top bed I was going to renovate for nursery defo won't come down intact; now will need to buy another spare bed and another wardrobe - doh!!!

sky you look smokin' in both pictures! It looks like it gives a lovely natrual but radiant finish. How does it cope with pore-riddled fairly oily skin?

Bags are about 90% packed :)

FuzzyOwl · 14/03/2016 07:45

Congratulations Tea.

Lovely to see you here Chat Smile

CarrotPuff · 14/03/2016 08:38

OMG Chat massive congrats! Gx for a sticky one!

Sounds a bit of a PITA 5hell!

fruitlovingmonkey · 14/03/2016 09:03

Eek Chat how did I miss that one?! Congratulations and all the gingers are crossed for you.
Good work on the bags Shell but bummer about the furniture.
Congrats Tea, stropbaby is adorable.
I had a lovely weekend with my friend. Managed a pretty tough uphill walk, seems I've had an energy boost. Just got to try and keep it up for the next few weeks now. Must stay active and avoid the temptation of the sofa!
Viroids considering early scans, maybe try to wait until 8 weeks, when it will be more jelly baby than blob and allegedly the stats are good after a healthy 8 week scan. I'm another one who didn't relax until after 22 weeks but it's still nice to have the reassurance of a scan even if the worry returns a few days later.

5hell · 14/03/2016 09:13

indeed carrot and entirely our own fault - we feel very silly and v wasteful!

waves gently at chat so as not to scare her off

FeatheredTail · 14/03/2016 09:14

OMG CHAT! Awesome awesome news!

Corgi - my EPU were amazing when I asked for a scan this pregnancy. I thought my symptoms had disappeared too quickly (they returned....oh god they returned) at 9 weeks so went in. Doctor was lovely and grabbed the sonographer as she was about to leave for the day. They reopened the scanning room for me. I've never been so grateful. I guess it depends on how sympathetic the doctor/nurses/sonographer are - I was very lucky.

Good work Lil, surely you have everything now??

We went to the NCT nearly new sale on Saturday. Got a brand new playmat for £8, a bath seat for £1 and what looked like a completely unused feeding pillow for £5! AMAZING!! Saved about £50!

Tea your boy is adorable - a real gorgeous little (big!) chunk.

Does anyone else do pregnancy yoga? I'm loving my classes. I fell asleep at the end of the session on Friday and had to be woken up by the teacher. She was delighted at how relaxed I was Blush

Can't be arsed with work/hand over cock up.

FuzzyOwl · 14/03/2016 09:19

I plan to go pregnancy yoga once I hit 12 weeks Feathered although I do currently do parent and baby yoga a couple of times a week, which is not at all relaxing but my DD loves it.

Ohwoolballs · 14/03/2016 09:43

Hello lovelies!

Congratulations Tea I am not on Facebook but I am imagining your wee lad 😄 Me and the rest of the March lot aren't jealous at all..... (I think Tri and myself are resigned to gestating like elephants)

I had a lovely visit yesterday from a friend who now lives in Newcastle - it was three hours solid natter with tea and cake - just wot I needed :)

Going back to bouncing on the ball today and sticking a load of washing on. Might do the mile walk (there and back) to the village shop for a tin of pineapple. 🍍

Ohwoolballs · 14/03/2016 09:43

And hello chat congratulations! 🌻

YogaPants · 14/03/2016 09:57

Congrats Chat. Gingers crossed that you are with us for a while. Smile

5hell what a pain that your furniture cannot be easily moved around! Hope it is not too much of a bother to sort out.

Feathered I've been going to pregnancy yoga but find it takes lots of concentration. The class near me is 1.5 hours but always goes about 15 minutes over. A lot of what we do is breathing and an hour and three quarters of breathing and meditation is hard.

First baby purchase complete: Went for a day trip out of London to visit a shop we could practice putting travel systems in and out of our car (which is very small) and ended up buying one. Good customer service definitely makes a difference (unfortunately also to my bank balance)!

Peenut · 14/03/2016 10:26

Just nipping in to say congrats to Chat! Lovely to see you here and fingers crossed for you to have a very sticky bean this time round!

A big WHOO for Tea too –well done Mrs, that labour/induction wait seemed epic! Lovely you have a your little boy as a reward!!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 14/03/2016 10:53

Greetings all...

A big squishy hug for chat and gx for sticky bean. Am absolutely thrilled for you.

5hell what a pain! Can you ebay or return the stuff that won't work? Thank you for the compliment Blush it is all the magic. The formula goes on quite heavy but spreads out whisper fine. I have combination skin that tends to eat foundation, I normally have to reapply several times in a day but not with this one. It doesn't crust up in pores or around dry patches either. The one thing I would say is that with a full coverage like this you want a perfect match on your skin so definitely try before buy. I think most department stores have a Guerlain counter. I got lots of samples when I got mine so that yook the sting out of the hefty price tag. Even DP noticed a difference or said he did to cheer me up

feathered loling at you sleeping in yoga class. That's a good sign! Yoga made me more tense as I couldn't do the breathing but I enjoyed other aspects of it.

Currently waiting at MDU. Blood sugars have been high all weekend so expecting insulin and induction date to be set. 39 weeks today and 2 failed sweeps. Would quite like a baby for my birthday tomorrow...

KateBeckett · 14/03/2016 11:00

Eeeeeee chat !!! Gx everything goes smoothly for you!

tea congrats he is a gorgeous little chunk Grin
