Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 46th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 45th grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 59th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates. I really hope that worked!

We currently have an MX-5. Definitely going to need a proper grown-up car! Anyone got any recommendations?

5hell · 12/03/2016 12:25

We love our Skoda octavia vrs...boot is massive, inside spacious, iso fix, fairly fuel efficient, good value, no issues in the 4 yrs we've had it

Ikea conquered, although despite being v focused we will now be late for lunch !

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 12/03/2016 12:25

We live in London but don't drive. I've realisrd when we are all together we will need a people carrier if we call a taxi ShockConfusedHmmGrin

I never figured myself for a minivan mum.

Mermaid36 · 12/03/2016 13:49

I've gone from a honda jazz to a renault megane estate (not new obvs). We were planning to swap my car this year anyway, but that was because of my business, not babies! So it's all done earlier than planned, but that's ok. New car sat on driveway looking huge! As long as the double buggy/pram fits in the boot, I don't care!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 12/03/2016 16:26

mer I meant to say I saw your thing you make on another Fred and they look wonderful! Really fab idea! We probably won't get married until minisky is at least 2 but that is exactly the kind of thing we would have on the tables.

Really struggling today. Woke up in pain a lot in the night and have been trying to rest all day but so unconfortable. Feeling tired and emotional and a bit despairing. DP being a champ and looking after DCs. DSD popped her head round the corner to tell me I look beautiful today a few minutes ago. Little did she know I was just staring mournfully at my chubby and swollen ankles wondering if I will ever be thin again. .. Kids are awesome.

Mermaid36 · 12/03/2016 16:56

Thanks sky blush - I've been running the business now for 3 years - I'm usually at farmers markets etc (as well as doing weddings and corporate events)...I'm having a year off at the moment (ie only orders) as I can't lift/carry/stand etc. I really enjoy doing it (but am also sneakily enjoying not working 7 days a week!) and def want to get back to it...

SockQueen · 12/03/2016 17:18

Watching the rugby with pizza and lemon&ginger tea. So rock and roll!

5hell · 12/03/2016 18:02

Phew...end of the rugby was a bit tense!! Classic England (and not in a good way!!!)

lildottie · 12/03/2016 19:04

sky forget the ankles. You are growing a human, there is nothing more beautiful than that!

Waving pom poms for tea

sock dh got rid of the mx-5 when we started TTC. Needed to go as roof was starting to go but when it took us so long to conceive I think he regretted it going. We were looking at finances today and thinking about getting a second, bigger, car. I have a fiesta and the pushchair base just goes in the boot but if we want to go away I think it will be a squeeze so thinking dh should get a focus, though he'd really like an Audi q3 if we can justify it. I've left him to think about what he wants. I love my fiesta so for me focus is a no brainier!

Been out for afternoon tea this afternoon and it was lovely. Now babysitting my baby teenage brothers and waiting for dominos to arrive.... Ubhave no room in my body for more food!

Thurs how u doing lovely?

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 12/03/2016 20:12

Screw my cankles - now I want Dominos! Ha ha thanks lil you speak in truths and good ideas...

More niggling and stitches this evening and plug still coming away slowly... hoping for a good nights sleep and an action packed baby day Sunday. Of course DD has both RAD exams and Occupational Therapy asessment this week so sounds about right for things to kick off...

Mermaid36 · 12/03/2016 21:33

Think I have shaved my legs for the last time this pregnancy....

Could barely reach over the twins to get my ankles. Time to book a leg wax!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 12/03/2016 21:50

mer can you get DH to help you? Mine needed coaching but he does alright...

lildottie · 13/03/2016 00:13

Well sky the saying goes "the child who is born on the Sabbath day, Is fair and wise and good in every " so gx for a Sunday baby! or a Monday baby, or a Tuesday baby.... dominos was awful, you wouldn't have enjoyed it Wink

mer it's winter, why are you shaving your legs? Lol. Going to have to attempt mine if I'm going to start swimming again, though I epilate rather than shave and find I can go weeks without bothering.

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 13/03/2016 06:08

Ooooooh doesn't it sting lil?

in denial about pain of childbirth

5hell · 13/03/2016 07:02

Ooh afternoon tea sound like a sterling idea lil Cake

I'm an epilater too Smile ...it's pretty ouchy the first couple of times sky but as regrowth gets less it hurts less. Saying that I did my pits for the first time in ages this week (had switched to shaving, not au naturel ) and that was agony!

In other news...freaking out a bit as nct baby #2 has been born ...due after me...must get my shit together! Shock Confused washing baby clothes today!!!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 13/03/2016 09:30

5hell! Pack your bags woman!!!! Did you ever get my FB message? I took a hilarous selfie yesterday but to embarassed to post anywhere as all norks... my skin looks fab though.

corgi88 · 13/03/2016 10:37

Whoo, 2 more BFPs on undergrads :)
I'm still lurking everybody, just been busy. Thinking will try and get an early scan for a bit of reassurance... What were everyone's EPAUs like for early scans? In previous miscarriage?

KateBeckett · 13/03/2016 12:13

I'm so sorry that I fell off the thread after you'd all been so fab about my hernia AND miroid issues... Last week was fucking awful and I was too miserable to be sociable, even online Blush

Hernia is still hernia-ing, not painful unless I poke it so I'm not poking it!

Miroid has sorted himself out a bit too after our argument. Not completely, but he is showing more of an interest in the bump. We think we've decided on a name which I think has helped.

5hell get your bag packed woman!!

Glad we've got some more bfp's coming through! It's going to seem very quiet in here after March madness has finished!

Speaking of which, who is in labour right now?! Has anyone done a baby whilst I've been awol?? waves pompoms

pee have you been to the docs yet? Hope you're feeling ok, I've got to say you are putting me to shame- I've been swimming once and to preggo Pilates once! Bad mummy to be...

mer I saw the new car on fb, looks nice Grin

I am dreading tomorrow. Work is a real head fuck atm.

5hell · 13/03/2016 12:14

corgi Even when I was having some bleeding early in this pg, after mc earlier in the year they still didn't want to see me...eventually at 8w and after 3rd bleed they agreed to scan, where all seemed OK (perigestational sac bleeding the culprit )

But I think they differ a lot in their busyness, referal procedures etc, so worth asking...gx

FuzzyOwl · 13/03/2016 12:49

I have decided that I am too scared to have an early scan and will just keep my head in the sand whilst pretending that everything is ok. I am now somewhere between 6 and 7 weeks (although by my calculations my closer to 6 than 7).

Mermaid36 · 13/03/2016 19:12

I didn't have an early scan. I knew I was pregnant from 4wks, but didn't know you could get anything before 12wks.

Saw the midwife at 8wks for booking in and had my first scan at 13 weeks, which was when we found out about the twins...

Discofairypants · 13/03/2016 19:30

corgi I had a miscarriage at almost 12 weeks last year and they wouldn't scan me early this time .... In our area they only do so if you have repeated miscarriages. Everywhere is different though, so it may be worth enquiring.

I've had a cough for about a week and now every time I cough, I basically piss myself. Getting really hacked off with it!! Needless to say I'm practicing my pelvic floor exercises every day - Some days feel like the baby might just fall out!

Also eaten two cupcakes, a hot cross bun and a magnum today (as well as normal food). Making the most of it for the next 8 weeks or so!

Hope you've all had a nice relaxing Sunday!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 13/03/2016 19:43

disco I had a sneezing and cough thing that made me wet myself. Tena Lights as suggested by honey made life a lot easier!

Flowers to those who have had pregnancy loss. It is truly horrible and does create anxiety the next time. Try to remember that today you are pregnant and hope for the best... I have averything crossed for you that you have boring and uneventful pregnancies.

Feeling rubbish today. Lots of nerve pain but doesn't feel like labour. Still getting pant snot. Sore and tored. My blood sugar has been high as well so expecting a telling off from mw tomorrow morning and to be put on insulin. At least now so sick of being pregnant that induction seems less scary not really I did have lots of alone time today though and wrote a long letter to DD in her special book I bought her which felt really nice. I have an idea of what I want to write in DSDs book now too. I am so glad our friends bought me the book for the baby. They will be nice keepsakes for when they are older Smile

lildottie · 13/03/2016 20:19

Evening all. corgi I had 8wk scan as part of ivf treatment before I was able to be discharged. It was both wonderful and terrifying and didn't ease my anxiety in any way shape or form. I didn't start to relax about this bean until after 20week scan and I've only really felt I've started to connect with it since then too. My point is if you can't get/pay for an early scan don't get too hung up about it.

sky like 5hell said epilating gets easier the more often you do it. My pits hurt a lot more with my new epilator which means I do it less so it isn't getting easier! Must try harder! Oh and make sure you use right attachments so you don't pinch the skin!! My legs barely get any hair on them now really.

Went to the big mothercare which is smaller than it was but still a million times better than ours. Decided to get a new car seat whilst we were there and replace the old one we had been given. Also got a breast pump half price, bottles to go with it in sale and my mum bought me a nursing chair

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 13/03/2016 20:31

Ouch lil you might want to pre-emptively get some nipple sheilds for breast feeding to have just in case. Poor you! Glad you had such a productive day Smile
