Just got my BFP this morning. Only 11dpo on our 5th cycle but hoping for it to stick.

I already have 3 DC. DD (nearly 12), DS1 (8) and DS2 (nearly 4).

I have 3 early m/c in between my DC so very cautious at the moment.

Anyone want to join me?

Cute cat emily

mangocoveredlamb · 26/02/2016 22:51

Is that an Amazon package that contained pregnancy test on your cistern?!

emilygremily · 27/02/2016 01:29

it was haha

MiniLop · 27/02/2016 07:00

No cravings for me yet either, in my last pregnancy it was milk! I drank gallons of it! I think that was quite a bit later in the pregnancy though.

Nahma · 27/02/2016 07:22

Katemoss I did exactly the same when I rang the docs! So funny/awkward!

Has anyone been suffering from lower back pain? Mine has been really bad the last few days, pain shooting right down my tailbone. I don't have a great history as I broke my back in a riding accident 12 years ago but my back health the last 18 months has been great. I work out regularly to help maintain my core but now I'm worried I'm going to have nine months of backache and all I can take is paracetamol. Grim prospect!

RattieOfCatan · 27/02/2016 07:34

I also sounded like a muppet on the phone to the doctor!

"Hi.... Erm, I was wondering... Oh, sorry, it's just I found out earlier this week that I'm pregnant and I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do next and if I need to see the doctor or nurse or self refer to a midwife etc etc ramble"
"oh, bless." Hmm Grin

I've been reading a shed tonne this week. And googling about chemical pregnancy which I never realised what they were until last night and am now worried as I'm due on today! I still can't believe that it happened first time for us so I'm just expecting it to go wrong!

KateMossIsMyQueen · 27/02/2016 09:27

Only 4+2 and already done with feeling queasy. The only time i don't feel sick is when I'm eating. As soon as the last mouthfuls in it comes back worse. Ergh!

KateMossIsMyQueen · 27/02/2016 09:29

No back ache nahma just a tiny bit of cramping.

Try not to over-read rattie! Fx that this is a sticky one Smile

Summerblaze100 · 27/02/2016 10:23

Well still no symptom for me yet. For me, MS means things are going ok. I've had 3 DC with MS and 3 m/c's with no MS. So I am hoping it comes soon which won't last long. I hate the sickness really.

Haven't rang the Drs yet. May do it on Monday.

Summer I have only had one mc and one successful pregnancy but, like you, ms is a good sign for me. Feeling ok today which is a worry for me.

Jessicacacaca · 27/02/2016 10:43

I've just got back from the doctors, he didn't seem to know much and didn't have the booklet I should have been given haha. All seems real now Grin

BelliniButterfly · 27/02/2016 10:51

Hi everyone

Can I come and join you guys? I've been having faint positives since Wednesday after having a chemical last cycle. This is what I got this morning......

Can't believe it! What do I do now?

November 2016. Hoping for sticky ones!!!
FuzzyOwl · 27/02/2016 11:13

Congratulations Bellini. It is probably best to give your GP surgery a call and ask what the procedure is for the area you live in - some people see their doctor first, whilst others see their midwives or do everything at the 12 week scan.

Redinthefacegirl · 27/02/2016 11:13

Hello!
Can I join too please? BFP yesterday and I think EDD is 5/6th of November. I have a 16month old already, just lurked last time but think it might be nice to interact a bit this time. Besides I'm desperate to share the newsGrin. Just some cramping (which I had last time) and nausea (which is new). This is such an anxious time. Last time it took 2.5years to get pregnant and I was very worried about everything, especially feeling fine. fuzzyowl it's so early, I think it's normal to not get many symptoms yet.

Congrats bellini, I don't remember there being much to do yet. There's loads of info about what to avoid in early pregnancy (cat poo, some foods, hot baths etc). Take folic acid. Apart from that just make a GP appt for a general check (they'll check urine for infection & your BP). I'll also self refer to my local hospital, but your GP can advise you about that, systems vary depending on where you live.

Opps, long first postBlush

FuzzyOwl · 27/02/2016 11:17

Congratulations and hello Red. I feel a bit nauseous now, which is a relief for me. I hope your nausea isn't too bad and we can all help each other to stop feeling so nervous.

Jessicacacaca · 27/02/2016 11:20

The doctor I saw today said not to bother taking folic acid, is that right?!

Redinthefacegirl · 27/02/2016 11:33

What?!? Jessica I think your GP may have been having a moment. Here's a link to the NHS advice.
www.nhs.uk/Conditions/pregnancy-and-baby/pages/vitamins-minerals-supplements-pregnant.aspx

KateMossIsMyQueen · 27/02/2016 11:40

Same Jessica, although mine said a lot of people get enough in their diet anyway, especially if it's in your bread etc. But it's always worth taking the supplement anyway as just because you think you're diet is "balanced" doesn't mean it's balanced JB folic acid iycwim?

Writerwannabe83 · 27/02/2016 12:21

Congratulations Bellini Flowers

My IC tests turned up this morning - I think I'm going to go and pee on one just because I can.

A drawer in my bedroom has got the following used (and positive) pregnancy tests inside it:

3x IC
1x Tesco's own brand.
2x ASDA's own brand
2x FRER
2x CB non-digital.

So what's a few more IC to add to my collection of already positive ten tests? Grin

Thankfully it's a drawer my DH doesn't go in to Grin

Thanks everyone it's so exciting.

Can I continue to take my conception vitamins until they run out (a few weeks) then move onto pregnancy vitamins?

FuzzyOwl · 27/02/2016 13:48

I would definitely continue to take folic acid Jessica.

I got very worried there for a moment when Mumsnet was down. Shock For other groups I have been on, we have also had a Facebook secret group so we can post a bit more information and bump shots etc - is anyone interested in that?

Writerwannabe83 · 27/02/2016 17:01

I would be up for that Grin
