Just got my BFP this morning. Only 11dpo on our 5th cycle but hoping for it to stick.

I already have 3 DC. DD (nearly 12), DS1 (8) and DS2 (nearly 4).

I have 3 early m/c in between my DC so very cautious at the moment.

Anyone want to join me?

Rattie your baby will be measured at the 12 week scan and a date will be determined then. That date won't change, so you will spend your first trimester using dates based on your LMP and your second two based on the scan. Does that make sense?

mangocoveredlamb · 26/02/2016 16:51

Oh god the tiredness!

I just spoke to my GP practice. They recommended booking the booking in now as they only do it on a Monday and they are booked for the next 6 weeks!!
So I'm booked for 9 weeks four days! (Ages away!!)

rattie were you asking about dating. If I remember from last time they use a 28 day cycle. Mind are much longer and I know I oved on day 22, so any medical professionals will be hear that my LMP was 28th Jan not 21st!!

mangocoveredlamb · 26/02/2016 16:52

Just to clarify, I don't want to have my 12 week scan early like I did last time and have to go back a week and a half later!

RattieOfCatan · 26/02/2016 17:31

Fuzzy That makes more sense, thanks!

mango So you have to go back again at the "correct" twelve weeks if it's not close enough? I may be alright as mine is only a week out?!

I'll be ging to see the midwife on Tuesday so will find out when I can book the booking in, though it seems that they combine it with the first scan from some pages I've read on our local GPs site.

mangocoveredlamb · 26/02/2016 17:44

It depends I think Rattie, but I had to go back two weeks later as I was too early for the combined test!

Hello ladies and congrats everyone. My EDD is 1st November. I am just desperate to tell the world, but also anxious about MC. I too have had cramping. I thought I had some morning sickness, but now feel totally fine. This is my first. What should I expect from the next few weeks and months?

KateMossIsMyQueen · 26/02/2016 18:24

Hi all! Got my BFP today, we've been TTC since December so v happy, can't tell DH for two weeks as he's away with work out of phone signal range! Going to suck it up and wait till I see him face to face.

Phoned doctors this afternoon as I felt like I needed to tell SOMEONE the news, and there's normally a three week wait for appointments, but they got me in straight away!

I've felt sick all day, but no actual vomming yet. I should be 4+1 today, EDD 3rd November!!

MrsBW23 · 26/02/2016 18:32

Congrats KateMossIssMyQueen! You must feel like you're going to explode not being able to tell your DH.

FuzzyOwl · 26/02/2016 18:36

MrsB you might feel fine throughout, absolutely awful, or somewhere in between, but all three are perfectly normal.

Congrats KateMoss. Awesome queen to have!

KateMossIsMyQueen · 26/02/2016 19:08

Ha I've just about stopped shaking. Phoning the doctors I couldn't get the words out , I think my actual words were "Hi I don't know what I need, maybe a nurse, I've recently found out I was pregnant, I mean I'm still pregnant, and need to see someone about that." Then I realised "need to see someone about that" sounded like I was after a termination, so tried to back pedal...

I'm surprised I didn't reassure her I was married.

What a loon!

FuzzyOwl · 26/02/2016 19:14

I hate these period like pains that I have. Logically, I know they are normal but they make me worry.

mangocoveredlamb · 26/02/2016 20:41

Me too fuzzy

KateMossIsMyQueen · 26/02/2016 20:52

Fuzzy I've not had any period like pains, just some odd twinges at the sides. I feel more sick now, hoping it's a bug that's gone tomorrow and not something that's going to carry on for the next 8 weeks!

FuzzyOwl · 26/02/2016 20:58

My nausea carried on for the whole pregnancy last time but at least I wasn't ever sick.

I can't imagine being a receptionist at a doctors' surgery is much fun Kate, so you probably have her a bit of light entertainment. Smile I suppose I need to make an appointment to see the midwife.

MiniLop · 26/02/2016 21:17

Hi everyone! I got my BFP a few days ago, I'm KateMoss's cycle twin, also due 3rd November! This will be DC2, DS is 12 months (just!). I recognise a few names from the buses already! How's everyone doing? Grin

wereallgoingonasummerholiday · 26/02/2016 21:20

couldn't quite believe I was actually pregnant :) so I took a clear blue was expecting 1-2 weeks but got 2-3 so that's great news !

Writerwannabe83 · 26/02/2016 21:32

I haven't bought a CB Digital one yet as I'm still working through my stash of FRERS, ASDA's own brands and just the standard CB tests.

I can't help but keep testing because of how much I love seeing positive results Grin Grin

wereallgoingonasummerholiday · 26/02/2016 21:34

I am exactly the same I have loads of ic tests which ordered before I knew dh said send them back but I couldn't as I love seeing a line

FuzzyOwl · 26/02/2016 21:36

There is something really addictive about seeing positive lines!

Writerwannabe83 · 26/02/2016 21:40

I ordered 30 IC tests about 2 days before I got my BFP and they are due to arrive tomorrow Grin

I'm going to have a monster stash of tests Grin

KateMossIsMyQueen · 26/02/2016 21:46

Haha! I bought two Clear Blue tests, so have one left. Nearly took the other one tonight but managed to get a grip - i KNOW I'll want to do one in the morning just to prove to myself I haven't dreamt this though!

I had some coming on amazon but I think I caught them in time to cancel them!

I am just ITCHING to tell someone - the next fortnight is going to drag before DH gets home, so I'm going to fully milk telling him, and then force him to pamper me for the weekend to make up for lost time!

wereallgoingonasummerholiday · 26/02/2016 22:16

Has anyone got any cravings yet ... I really want anything salted

KateMossIsMyQueen · 26/02/2016 22:20

No cravings but I've been ravenous for the last week. Blamed it on PMT but now think it's a symptom.
