Just got my BFP this morning. Only 11dpo on our 5th cycle but hoping for it to stick.

I already have 3 DC. DD (nearly 12), DS1 (8) and DS2 (nearly 4).

I have 3 early m/c in between my DC so very cautious at the moment.

Anyone want to join me?

I am also not sure when to start the ball rolling does anyone know whether seretide is safe in pregnancy it's an inhaler

AlbusPercival · 23/02/2016 14:29

Anyone else feel nauseous already?

I didnt have morning sickness with the pregnancies I miscarried, so its probably a good thing, but tricky to appreciate that when Im stuggling to keep lunch down, and unwashed DH is the grimmest smell ever

Thurlow · 23/02/2016 14:45

were, if you take any medications it might be worth calling your doctors and asking the receptionists whether you need to see a GP or maybe have a phone consultation to discuss whether anything needs changing?

albus, I was going to post the same thing Grin I feel bloated and unsettled already and have less interest in food, and yes, some smells are already starting to prove quite challenging...

Tidythatmess · 23/02/2016 14:58

I don't have any yet but nausea is definitely a good sign. Didn't get it at all with my pregnancies that miscarried. With the healthy pregnancies the sickness was awful... Yuck

Summerblaze100 · 23/02/2016 17:02

I didn't have morning sickness with the ones I m/c'd either.

I feel no different at all. No symptoms other than the cramping. I usually don't start with morning sickness til 6 weeks so have a while yet. I always like having morning sickness but really don't at the same time. To me it means a sticky baby.

Sorry to hijack thread but just a quick message to Writerwannabe83 I think I remember you from the ttc threads a few years ago. Can't remember the username I had before but remember you're posts were also so encouraging and supportive on those threads - congrats on your two year old and bfp! I'm finally pregnant due in July Smile

Writerwannabe83 · 23/02/2016 21:36

Arr, thanks Jem, and a huge congratulations to you!!! Grin Flowers

I have had to start telling people at work. I hate it because of how early I am but I work in a job where people have to know. There are 10 people I have to tell and today I had to tell someone who had been TTC for 18 months and I felt like such a cow. It was horrible Sad

Nahma · 23/02/2016 22:46

Hi All,

Ok to join? Got my bfp on Sat. Our first child. Caught 2nd cycle (this time, started trying last summer and had a chemical on my first cycle, then changed jobs so we decided to hold off trying until after the New Year). Af now 3 days late and hpt (lots - obsessed!) all coming back positive.

Feeling such a crazy mix of emotions. Trying not to get too excited, or look too far forward but I can't stop smiling and want to share it with the world (but can't yet!) so I'm sharing with you!

Anyway enough rambling. Nice to meet you all! :)

LotsaTuddles · 24/02/2016 07:03

Tentatively dipping my toe in. BFP yesterday.

I have 2 yo DS and 1yo DD (crazy I know)

Had an early mc between DC and another one last month. Honestly didn't think it was going to happen this soon

Jessicacacaca · 24/02/2016 07:40

Hi everyone, can I join please?
I got my bfp on Friday and took another on Sunday to check. I'm booked in to see the gp on Saturday, this is my first and it still doesn't feel real!
Congratulations to everyone on their positives. Smile

LotsaTuddles · 24/02/2016 08:48

wereall my puppy has been like a little (not actually little at all) shadow.

I can't sit down without a 23kg Labrador sitting on my lap Confused and dd has become increasingly clingy and grumpy

Thurlow · 24/02/2016 09:21

Congrats to everyone! Lotsa, you are indeed crazy Grin

Writer, that sucks Sad I've got to work out how to tell a friend who has just had her last possible round of IVF fail the other week. Absolutely dreading it.

AlbusPercival · 24/02/2016 09:56

Wow, thats going to be busy Lotsa. TMI alert but tell me its not just my nipples that constantly feel like they are being squeezed. So painful!

LotsaTuddles · 24/02/2016 10:32

I know Shock but we've always wanted a big family and small age gaps. I'm thinking of it as getting nappies and toddler years out of the way ASAP Wink

Not like they're being squeezed, but they do feel a bit stingy. And emcs scar (from nearly 3 years ago) feels like it's burning occassionally, but I think that's where everything is starting to stretch/move around iyswim

Thurlow · 24/02/2016 11:07

Probably best to get it out of the way - we've left a big gap (DD will be nearly 5 by the time this one turns up, if everything goes ok) and I'm quite dreading the return to nappies and sleepless nights!

My nipples are starting to itch. And I'm SO bloated it's silly!

Tidythatmess · 24/02/2016 11:27

We will have a 4.5 year age gap. Sometimes I think we must be mad to go back to the sleepless nights etc but then I think I will have more time to spend with the new baby instead of dealing with a toddler as well. Also, my two would loooove a baby in the house and will be great helps Smile

Thurlow · 24/02/2016 11:31

This is what I'm hoping, Tidy. DD will be at school so I'll be able to have some time alone with the baby and do all the groups and classes again (weirdly I quite enjoyed them first time around) and also have the possibility of crashing a bit during the day if I'm sleep deprived.

LotsaTuddles · 24/02/2016 12:09

No hope of crashing here. Ds decided literally last weekend that he doesn't need naps anymore Sad

Thurlow · 24/02/2016 12:52

He's psychic, Lotsa Grin

Anyone else already struggling with what to eat? I was just about to go out and buy a sandwich and realised that my two go-to sandwiches are tuna mayo or brie and tomato... Hmm...

AlbusPercival · 24/02/2016 12:57

yes! totally on the food! With previous experiences I am ultra cautious

I am also obsessed with salty food at the moment, normally I have sweet tooth, but at the moment I am all about the salt

Thurlow · 24/02/2016 13:00

I've bought a massive box of Ritz crackers to keep me going in the office, YY to the salt.

There is a roast in the work cafe today so I might just have that... My last pg I didn't eat anything but toast and Weetabix for about 4 months, so I'm thinking I should just eat like a horse now in case the sickness kicks in badly again. That's good logic, right?

wereallgoingonasummerholiday · 24/02/2016 13:54

Hi I haven't had any cravings or anything just slight aversion to what I am eating, when do symptoms start? Is it too early to have heart burn? I have my first appointment on 8th march

Thurlow · 24/02/2016 14:00

Everyone is different, were. My first pg I had no symptoms at all until one day about 6w I started throwing up, this time I'm more bloated and tired. A know loads of people who don't really have many symptoms at all, just general knackeredness.

Nahma · 24/02/2016 15:17

Were I'm only 4 +4 and I'm getting heartburn. I've never had it before really but been getting it every time I eat. Also so bloated! Other than that all good and energy levels haven't gone crashing yet.

wereallgoingonasummerholiday · 24/02/2016 16:08

heart burn is acid reflux isn't it? if so then I am defo having it as it is burning
