Just got my BFP this morning. Only 11dpo on our 5th cycle but hoping for it to stick.

I already have 3 DC. DD (nearly 12), DS1 (8) and DS2 (nearly 4).

I have 3 early m/c in between my DC so very cautious at the moment.

Anyone want to join me?

wereallgoingonasummerholiday · 24/02/2016 16:32

ok good to know :( I've never had it before

Writerwannabe83 · 24/02/2016 20:50

Feeling so tired today and my boobs are starting to ache Sad

wereallgoingonasummerholiday · 24/02/2016 21:10

I feel the same knackered :(

Writerwannabe83 · 24/02/2016 21:13

I only got 4 hours sleep last night too because my son was being a nightmare!

And tomorrow I've got a nice 13 hour shift to look forward to....

LotsaTuddles · 24/02/2016 21:16

He's too big to keep sitting on me.

Yep, very nauseous here, and occasional heartburn too. Absolutely shattered though.

I really want to eat Camembert

Will wait a week or so and then go to docs to fill in mw form

Tentatively joining.
Two BFPs this morning.
Dreadful heartburn which was the first clue with my DD, and fizzy/tingly boobs!

EDD seems to be 4th Nov! DD will be 2 and 8 months!!!

mangocoveredlamb · 25/02/2016 10:36

Tuddles president do a pasteurised Camembert!

Thurlow · 25/02/2016 10:46

Congrats Lotso - is that a Sainsbury's Digital by any chance? It looks familiar from my Monday morning...

And congrats "mango*!

Saw the GP this morning and got the ball rolling. In some really joined up thinking, online it says you fill out a form and self-refer, but then at the GP she seemed surprised I thought that and did the referral there and then!

Anyway, she has given me a prescription for anti-sickness meds and says that it can help to start even before any sickness kicks in, so I'm going for positive mental attitude and a much less sicky pregnancy this time.

mangocoveredlamb · 25/02/2016 10:49

That's good to hear thurlow! I have hyperemesis last time so am stealing myself for its reemergence. I have the GP on Monday anyway so will be discussing it all with her then!

FuzzyOwl · 25/02/2016 10:55

Hello, please can I join? I got my BFP today which means my due date (based on ovulation) is around 5 November although LMP puts me in October.

Thurlow · 25/02/2016 11:08

Hope they are helpful, mango - mine is a new GP and I'm so relieved, she seems very understanding. She said that starting one of the standard meds like cyclizine or stemetil on a low dose is perfectly fine to do before the nausea kicks in, and hopefully might help a bit.

Last time I made myself work through the sickness (desk job and a very short commute) and I think I completely ruined myself doing it. This time (4yo and a 1hr+ commute each way) I'm going to be good and get signed off for a week or so if I have to. But fingers crossed neither of us get too sick!

Also, I've only had 3 cigarettes a day since my BFP, which is about a third of normal, so am feeling pretty good. Hoping that I can manage one day clear in the next few days before I see the hypnotherapist on Saturday.

RattieOfCatan · 25/02/2016 11:29

I suppose that I should stumble in. I got a BFP on Tuesday but it was very faint. Having retested this morning it was very clear that I am definitely pregnant! Very chuffed :)

My due date changes depending on a few factors, but it'll be between the 3rd and the 6th I think. LMP says 6th but I OVed earlier than I was supposed to with a 35-day cycle according to those charts.

I have no children but I work as a nanny so well used to them Wink

Symptoms wise: My belly has been twingy but not painful. There's been a little cramping but not much. I had a newborn baby dream and have been feeling queasy when driving for a few days. And my health problems have been flaring slightly (namely fatigue and brain fog but my chest is painful too). I have been less patient with my charges too, which I feel a little bad about Blush Not in a shouty way thankfully, just in a way which leads to me kicking them out of the kitchen when I'd usually leave them to their silliness when I'm trying to cook! I have had nothing going on with my boobs, not sure whether to be thankful or not! Grin

I haven't detected any odd behaviour in my pets but then I've barely been home this week so I'll wait until next week and see what happens with them then! We have rats, so they may not respond to me any differently!

I'm going to struggle not to tell anybody. My sister knows we're trying, as does one of DHs friends and my Mother. The latter two we had to tell, we asked DHs friend to camp with us this summer before Christmas so when he started asking about it and getting the ball moving and we were being vague he knew something was up. And we're moving in with my parents in September for a stint so we had to ask if it would be okay to have a baby there too. Very worried about the living with them bit but I will be setting very firm boundaries!

Thurlow Good luck with the quitting smoking :) It's bloody difficult but it saves quite a bit of money!

RE food, I had a moment last night where I realised that brie was off of the cards, totally could have cried. And veggie pates. Otherwise there isn't much I'll miss I don't think? I'm a vegetarian so a lot of the cheese doesn't apply to me. I am eating a hell of a lot more though. I think that is in part due to being ill and rundown this month.

were That's a very long cycle! Shock

Tidythatmess · 25/02/2016 11:34

There is definitely some bries that are ok to eat!

No obvious symptoms here apart from tiredness and grumpiness (almost like PMT). I think I will need to do a digital soon to calm the nerves!

Congrats to all the new bfps!

LotsaTuddles · 25/02/2016 12:10

Ha Thurlow, yes it is. I'll get a CB digital one next week before we tell parents (it's pretty obvious I'm pg, I'm a lovely shade of grey and the coming has started already Sad)

At my drs you go and fill a form in, then me rings you to book booking in appt. think I'm going to have to go and get some sickness tablets though, probably tomorrow.

President Camembert is my favourite. It was the fact that at the best of times I sit and eat a whole one with some lovely part baked rolls Blush and ds has stopped napping so I won't get to eat it by myself

mangocoveredlamb · 25/02/2016 13:05

Why no veggie pate rattie?
I thought the problem with pate was the liver content.

I've started feeling sick. I think it's just because I know now 😳

RattieOfCatan · 25/02/2016 13:17

mango Apparently listeria is still an issue with veggie pate

mangocoveredlamb · 25/02/2016 13:19
Sad Oh god, I'd forgotten what s bloody minefeild it all is!
Thurlow · 25/02/2016 14:12

I know, I just had lunch in the cafe and had a panic over what cheese was in it, but couldn't ask as I was with my colleagues and several of them have been pregnant so it would have rung alarm bells Blush Fortunately it was ricotta, which I've just googled and is fine.

I forgot to ask the GP whether they'll call to offer me an appointment, or I'll get a letter and no choice. I do think in our area we have one of those group booking in appointments, where apparently they show you a video about how important it is to eat well, which several friends have told me is hilarious when you're right in the midst of chucking up at everything Wink

LotsaTuddles · 25/02/2016 15:15

Shit. Just re read mine. I mean vomming!! BlushBlushBlush

mangocoveredlamb · 25/02/2016 15:31

I'm sorry you're Vomming already! I often made that typo! It did make me laugh!

FuzzyOwl · 25/02/2016 15:57

This is my third day of feeling sick and I won't even be four weeks until Saturday. This does not bode well for the rest of pregnancy.

I am going to have to speak to my HR about maternity pay soon but don't want to do so until I know things look to be going ok with this pregnancy.

LotsaTuddles · 25/02/2016 16:00

Same as me Fuzzy, I'm a SAHM, so no HR for me Sad

DH has offered to take the kids out in Saturday though, so that will be nice.

Going to have to go to drs tomorrow I think to get sickness tablets if they'll let me

LotsaTuddles · 25/02/2016 16:01

The same as me, was for the 4 weeks Saturday
