Just got my BFP this morning. Only 11dpo on our 5th cycle but hoping for it to stick.

I already have 3 DC. DD (nearly 12), DS1 (8) and DS2 (nearly 4).

I have 3 early m/c in between my DC so very cautious at the moment.

Anyone want to join me?

I've definitely got the excess wind! Was quite constipated but that seems to have eased off a bit this week...

FuzzyOwl · 22/03/2016 19:08

I'm the same canters although my boobs aren't sore but they weren't with DD either so I am not too concerned by that. Nothing to indicate pregnancy here at all apart from positive tests and some cramps.

Penguinepenguins · 22/03/2016 19:12

oh gosh the wind Hmm

I am just about to start eating prunes... There is going to be wind later...

JoMalones · 22/03/2016 19:14

Yes, the wind! I can't believe I forgot how bad it was! Blush

Penguinepenguins · 22/03/2016 20:05

Blush last time I could not keep it in! Was so embarrassing as I'm not one "to let it go" in public, DP agreed it was perfectly acceptable in pregnancy but am trying to retain my dignity for as long as possible... He's not here tonight

However the psychic boy cat isn't looking very impressed at me this evening Hmm

findingmyfeet12 · 22/03/2016 23:18

I've had an early scan today. They put me at 7+4. We saw a heartbeat! I feel so much better now. I called my mum and she was lying down with a headache as she had been so stressed about my scan.... We must be a family of worriers.

I can relate to the comments about wind. I have terrible wind at the moment, lots of burping as well.

My breasts are so sore and I've gone up two cup sizes already.

FuzzyOwl · 22/03/2016 23:53

Great news finding - about the scan, not the wind! Grin

likeawestern · 23/03/2016 06:05

Congratulations on your tiny heartbeat Finding. Wonderful news.

I have wind too, though constipation makes wind worse so is probably a combination of factors.

Starla268 · 23/03/2016 07:03

Congrats on the heartbeat finding! Got my early scan next week - counting down the days!

Canters15 · 23/03/2016 07:47

Wooo congrats finding!

I scared myself last night- boobs stopped hurting, and didn't hurt this morning. Did a frer to check am upduffed (I am), went back to sleep and when woke up they'd started hurting again! Trying to remind myself that, much like symptom spotting in the 2ww, pregnancy symptoms are variable and don't indicate how the pregnancy is doing. Can someone slap me?!

pickledsausage · 23/03/2016 07:53

finding lovely news 😊 Congratulations

I am veering between constipation and upset stomach with bloating/wind in between. What a treat!! I had never even heard of this symptom before!

canters I do exactly the same, think oh no they feel ok/less sore then a few hours later it's back with a vengeance! I'm sure someone will know the actual facts about this but I think hormones double every couple of days then level out for a day? So it's normal for things to come and go.

I had my first dry heave this morning 💃

KitKat1985 · 23/03/2016 08:22

Hi ladies. Can I join if you don't mind? I just got a BFP on Monday so it's still sinking in a bit. My official due date from period calculator is 2nd December but I already have a DD (18 months old) who was born a week early, so I think there's a reasonable chance that DC2 will also be a bit early, so I'm thinking late November is pretty likely. I'll probably hover both here and the December boards. Trying to debate as to whether to phone doctors today or whether to wait until next week, as it seems so early still. I guess I could phone them today. I think it's unlikely they will give me an appointment before next week anyway (our GP surgery insists on a GP referral to midwife, which is silly as last time they literally just asked me when my last period was and said they would let the midwife know, which seems a bit of a waste of a GP appointment to me as I could have just self-referred to the midwife and done the same). Anyway just wanted to say hi! And yes, I also have awful wind! Blush

FuzzyOwl · 23/03/2016 08:52

Glad you have the reassurance of them hurting again Canters but as said, symptoms really do come and go. It doesn't make it any less worrying, but it is normal.

Hello, welcome and congratulations KitKat. No harm in calling up about an appointment as you might have a long wait.

My stomach really hurts today. It feels bruised, tender and sore all over. I am assuming hoping it us because I have been so constipated and had such bad diarrheoa but I also have this nasty pain that goes right down my left side that has been there for at least a day and a half now. I can't sleep on that side and it really hurts. My first midwife appointment is next week, so I assume I will have to see my GP if it carries on but that seems such a waste of their time if it is nothing.

Hightyy117 · 23/03/2016 10:55

Got a doctors appointment for this afternoon. Still bleeding not enough to soak a pad though but did a test this morning and it was negative. Part of me still hoping but I just know. Preparing myself for bad news today.

Thurlow · 23/03/2016 10:59

I lined up my meds this morning to amuse myself. I'd forgotten the role call of pills and potions in pregnancy!

Folic acid
Vitamin D
Vitamin B6
Anti-sickness pills
Lactulose
Nicotine patches (yes, I'm alone on this one Grin)

I rattle! And Lactulose really is the vilest thing known to man...

Jade1212 · 23/03/2016 11:04

Hightyy Aw I'm sorry, keeping fingers tightly crossed for good news, and ready with virtual hugs and tea if it isn't Flowers

findingmyfeet12 · 23/03/2016 11:04

Highty I'm so sorry about the negative test. Everything crossed for you for this afternoon Flowers

Fedupithink · 23/03/2016 11:24

So sorry about your negative test Heightyy

After not sleeping last night with worry I've had my early scan this morning at 6+3 and all looks good even saw the heartbeat which was incredible. The relief was immense.

I've now been referred to the midwife and just need to wait it out for the 12 week scan.

pickledsausage · 23/03/2016 11:54

Oh highty I'm sorry Sad xx

Hightyy117 · 23/03/2016 12:18

Thank you all for your kind messages. Will let you know x

Baby40 · 23/03/2016 12:26

Hi ladies a little advice please. So I did my first clear blue and got 1-2 weeks on the 6th, then took another on 17th which said 2-3 but my one this morning still said 2-3. Does this all add up ok or should I technically be 3+ now?

Worrying because I've no sumptoms yet Sad xx

JoMalones · 23/03/2016 12:43

Wow this post move fast!

Fedup and finding congrats on lovely scans.

Welcome kitkat

Canters - I totally understand, i did an internet cheapie to make sure it is stronger than Monday's .

Thurlow I agree, I also find lactulose doesn't work for me (after having drunk a bottle before-yuck!)

Hightty massive hugs, hope this afternoon goes well for you.

Baby i'm not sure how accurate they are as hcg levels vary from person to person so they can't be 100% accurate.

No spotting today and cramps have calmed down. Considering last time the MMC happened weeks before with no indication (I was still being sick on morning of ERPC) I don't think I can do anything this early. They wouldn't be able to see anything on a scan so I don't know what to do?

Baby40 · 23/03/2016 12:44

Thank you Jo

Penguinepenguins · 23/03/2016 13:31

Wow on the scans at 6+3, amazing to see a heartbeat that's just wonderful news xx guessing it was an internal... I hate them but it's worth it :)

I have just managed to get an earlier booking appointment at 7 weeks, rather than 10 weeks so am really pleased about this!

Penguinepenguins · 23/03/2016 13:33

Sorry hightty I missed your post, I'm sending you massive hugs xx be kind to yourself it was the best piece of advise I was ever given xx
