Just got my BFP this morning. Only 11dpo on our 5th cycle but hoping for it to stick.

I already have 3 DC. DD (nearly 12), DS1 (8) and DS2 (nearly 4).

I have 3 early m/c in between my DC so very cautious at the moment.

Anyone want to join me?

Sorry to hear your news holly, thinking of you.
Thank you Fi84 it seems to be easing now so hopefully that's it. Glad you're being monitored that must be reassuring and hope everything goes well for you! How old are your other two?
xx

AlbusPercival · 21/03/2016 09:06

Im so sorry to hear that Holly.

I don't know what to do. DGrandad is very poorly in hospital and convinced he won't be coming home. As well as a long list of illnesses he also has swine flu. He won't let anyone see him as he has lots of small great grandchildren, and several pregnant Dgranchildren/IL. I don't want to go against his wishes, and I dont want to risk my baby, but what if I never see him again? For lots of reasons that seem pretty stupid now I havent seen him for 6 months

Bambini3 · 21/03/2016 09:38

Hi, I'd like to tentatively join.

I got a BFP last week. I've got 2 children (11 &15) but had 2 spontaneous miscarriages last year so know there's no guarantee this one will result in a baby. I'm veering between feeling optimistic and hopeless!!

I had two early scan with my last pregnancy which both showed a strong heartbeat and movement on the 2nd so have decided not to bother with an early scan this time. I have bought more CB digital tests so I can check that the weeks increase- I know I'm insane😂But think it'll give me some reassurance plus I've spent sooooo much time POAS I'd hate to give it up completely!
My due date is 24th November.

FuzzyOwl · 21/03/2016 10:07

Oh Holly I am so sorry to hear that. Take good care of yourself and hope to hear that your time back on the ttc bus is not long. Flowers

Welcome and congratulations Hightyy and Bambini. I used the Clearblue conception indicator tests as well and although I know lots of women don't, I have always found them to be reliable. Brown blood is generally considered to be old blood and isn't such a concern but your EPU should be able to do a reassurance scan.

Sorry to hear that Albus. Is FaceTime or Skype a possibility? If your DGrandad doesn't have a tablet or a phone that will do so, could you borrow one and go to the hospital and ask a staff member to give it to him and call him whilst you are there?

Canters15 · 21/03/2016 10:13

Sorry about your grandad albus. I don't think I'd want to risk swine flu, I like fuzzy's suggestion.

Have managed to self refer to the midwives after the gp faff! Found the number on the internet and bingo- they should contact me with an antenatal and dating scan appointment in the next week.

FuzzyOwl · 21/03/2016 10:39

That is good news Canters and let me know when you are feeling up to joining the FB group.

Penguinepenguins · 21/03/2016 12:22

Waves at fuzzy owl remember me :)

I just came here to be nosey whilst I wait for people to join me in the December thread :) and there you are so I thought I should say hello...

But I will go back to lurking lol

likeawestern · 21/03/2016 12:37

So sorry to hear your sad news holly. Thinking of you.

Canters I'm struggling with teeth brushing too, dreading my dental appointment in a few weeks, hopefully I can convince her to put nothing in my mouth!!

Albus I think FaceTime/Skype is a good idea, is that possible at all?

I've had a really busy weekend, London with the dc on Saturday and then a rugby match yesterday. Feeling exhausted and queasy today so I'm taking it easy.

Fuzzy I'm also a bit scared of joining the FB group for now, but I will join when I'm feeling more brave!! Hope everyone who has had nasty viruses are recovering Thanks

FuzzyOwl · 21/03/2016 15:20

Penguin! I am so pleased for you! Grin Congratulations and just goes to show that your cat's intuition was right. When are you due? I am sure plenty of people on this thread will end up giving birth in both October and December, so do stay around.

Of course like and completely understandable. Hope today is better for you. I need a nice easy day I think.

FuzzyOwl · 21/03/2016 15:50

Penguin, when you did you ovulate? Are you sure you can't squeeze in at the end of November?

RainbowPickle · 21/03/2016 15:50

Fuzzy owl I've sent you a pm - would love to join your fb group. Today was my 7 week scan and such a relief to see one healthy heartbeat. Also coincides with the first day of feeling really very sick! Hoping everyone is doing well X

findingmyfeet12 · 21/03/2016 16:08

I've also had brown spotting almost daily (a very small amount) for about two weeks. My doctor said it was nothing to worry about (she did examine me) and I didn't go to the hospital. I haven't had any spotting for a couple of days now. Nausea returned today (quite mild) and aside from that my breasts are huge and sore and I have abdominal twinges pretty regularly.

I have an early scan tomorrow and I'm really nervous. I wish I hadn't told my family about the scan as they'll all be waiting with baited breath.

Hightyy117 · 21/03/2016 16:15

Thank you findingmyfeet that was reassuring, can't help but panic over everything.

bobcat85 · 21/03/2016 16:30

Hope everyone is doing well.
I'm feeling terrible with stomach ache and nausea at the moment, hoping it will pass soon.
Hopefully the next 6 weeks will go quick.

Penguinepenguins · 21/03/2016 17:10

Hee hee FuzzyOwl all the apps and calculations lead me to believe it will be 3rd December - based on last AF/ovulation I have a like clock-work 28 day cycle and know I ovulated CD14 (using monitor) so it is definetly December (for now anyway) I just tested super super early (6 days before I worked it out too) after our chat, the cats reaction Hmm and the implantation pain for two days.. Smile am so so happy! Cats still hanging around but they appear to be taking it turns now to supervise and sniff me randomly it's very weird... ;)

I am just thrilled!! But exhausted have had a nap already today and slept for 9 hours last night (apart from pee breaks grr) sitting here yawning my head off!

likeawestern · 21/03/2016 18:58

Oooooo Penguin, you have oddly behaving cats?!? My dog won't leave me alone! She normally prefers dh but has become my shadow for the last 3 weeks - she certainly knew before we did. She went to stay with dh's ex over the weekend (they have shared custody) and pined for the whole 48hrs.

Penguinepenguins · 21/03/2016 20:23

My boy cat started sniffing me in a very weird way on Friday night, it was very bizarre - but I also had a glass of wine poured for me and it made me heave :) and loads of other symptoms but my cats have all been "supervising" me since Friday, boy cat mostly, have found him outside the loo waiting for me a couple of times - it's quite cute :) although think he's bored of this now as I'm in there a lot more as the days go by.

That's sweet about your dog too - I think they know well before it's just if they chose to tell you, but that's so sweet

likeawestern · 21/03/2016 20:48

It is sweet. She seems to be taking it so seriously Smile

ScottishGirlx · 21/03/2016 20:51

Hi everyone!! Can I join please? I got my BFP on Friday and just did another test and got this... Yaaaay!!!! Over the moon Grin

My due date is estimated as 28th Nov. Wasn't sure if I should join here or December board but maybe I'll do both Smile

Excited to be sharing the next 9 months with you ladies. It's so good to have somewhere like this available for chatting/asking questions etc. I'm all caught up on the board and nervous about potential 6 week morning sickness as I've got a phobia of vomming HmmConfused

November 2016. Hoping for sticky ones!!!
Penguinepenguins · 21/03/2016 20:53

Hey Scottish girl :) I've found myself here and I'm 2/3rd December to close to call really :)

I've also started a thread for December babies :)

So am thinking I will belong to both too lol :)

FuzzyOwl · 21/03/2016 21:02

Hope it all goes well tomorrow finding.

Hi Scottish

My due date is 5 November but I plan to have an ELCS so will probably be giving birth in October anyway, but I am in both groups.

LittleGreyCatwithapinkcollar · 21/03/2016 21:33

Hi Scottishgirl! I remember you from the March bfp bus! Glad you're here!!

Margo5 · 21/03/2016 21:50

Hi ladies, can I join you?
My due date is estimated to be 17 Nov, it's our first baby! (Been off the pill since June last year)
Been to the docs and told him about the spotting I have had and he was not worried about it and said it was normal. Phew! It's a delicate time and I wish everyone luck... Tummy a been a bit twingy today, sore boobs and felt a bit light headed, no nausea as yet thankfully! Waiting for the midwife to call about first appointment with her, all exciting and scary rolled into one! xx

WeazerSqueazer · 22/03/2016 04:20

Congratulations everyone on your BFP's.. Please can I join you? BFP on Friday, already have 2dcs.
Since Friday I have had the worse sleep - 3 am wake ups every day, and - like now - can't get to sleep again.. Aaaagh! Anyone else having this problem?
Slightly worried yesterday as suddenly felt amazing, nausea had gone, not feeling tired, and boobs less sore.. Had been feeling all of those over the weekend but hoping things still OK in there!

pickledsausage · 22/03/2016 06:44

weazer I'm up super early every day too, 5am this morning! To be fair though I have been going to sleep around 9 each night!

Thread moving at an alarming rate again! Hi all the newbies, here's our spreadsheet with our details on, please feel free to add yours. docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ttMO3RUBPOnQmHdOil9GgSyeEaLRaJE8jMu67TMmbl0/edit?usp=docslist_api

I had an early scan yday @ exactly 7 weeks and we've got a heartbeat. Very excited although of course still very aware we're not out of the woods yet. rainbow congrats on your heartbeat too 😍
