Just got my BFP this morning. Only 11dpo on our 5th cycle but hoping for it to stick.

I already have 3 DC. DD (nearly 12), DS1 (8) and DS2 (nearly 4).

I have 3 early m/c in between my DC so very cautious at the moment.

Anyone want to join me?

Canters a couple of days ago but it is mild for me. I seem to recall in my last pregnancy I would have a few days and then it would ease off (so I would panic!) and then it would return before easing off again. Luckily for me, I have never been sick when pregnant and generally just feel a bit/very hungover or motion sick.

Afternoon all, big congrats to all the newbies and many thoughts and positive vibes to everyone going through a worrying time at the moment Flowers

Well, DD's sick bug thankfully didn't affect her to much but sadly turned into a norovirus bug for me and DP. Honestly, I thought I might just give up and die yesterday Blush Haven't felt that ill in so many years, bluergh. Slightly relieved it wasn't the sickness kicking in again (I've spent 4 years in terror of a pregnancy like DD's again) but still, this is awful... Even had to call my parents to come and get DD as we just weren't capable of looking after her!

Still, tomorrow she can go to nursery and I can lay prone on the bed all day and read Jilly Cooper and hope to finally eat something!

Hello, newbie here! I'm 4 + 1 after 2 years of trying for dc#2, and it's been a year since I had 2 MC.
Very strong BFP line so am keeping positive and hopeful that this one will be sticky!
Going to see GP and hoping for an early scan given my two MC last year.
Fingers and toes crossed for everyone, hoping for lots of lovely squishy November babies (eeek!)

goldfinch01 · 20/03/2016 18:11

Hello and welcome to Wester, Morecake and anyone else new Smile

Hope you feel better soon, Thurlow. It's not nice to be poorly Flowers

Canters, I have been feeling similar to you... Mornings are fine, then the nausea hits me in the afternoon for an hour or two at random times (and I'm only 4+4 Confused)

KleineDracheKokosnuss · 20/03/2016 18:15

canters I've got nausea on and off. Somedays are fine (which makes me paranoid) and others I just want to lie quietly. Confused

AlbusPercival · 20/03/2016 19:04

Welcome to all the newbies

H0p3 · 20/03/2016 20:48

Hi all! Welcome newbies and sorry to all those suffering anxiety/sickness/illness.. Flowers

H0p3 · 20/03/2016 20:53

Didn't mean to post that yet! Was going to add I am in the cold club and feeling pretty rotten with it but nothing awful and certainly nothing as bad as what you've described Thurlow. That sounds terrible.

Canter my sickness has been really hit and miss like others have said. Some days none, some days bad nausea all day, some days mild and just in waves. Makes life quite unpredictable right now! I'm only 5+2 though. My sister said hers really ramped up at 6 weeks but was similar to mine at this stage Shock

Hope everyone has good weeks this week!

FuzzyOwl · 20/03/2016 21:18

Hope you feel better soon Thurlow. I had a d&v bug recently and it really wiped me out.

Hello and welcome MoreCake. I like your username!

Hope you feel better soon as well H0p. Colds are horrid, but even worse when you are pregnant and can't really take anything for it.

I have changed my mind about having a scan again and decided that I definitely will do. Hopefully I can get an appointment for next week. Eek!

orchidnap · 20/03/2016 21:18

Hi everyone! i was wondering if anone can make sense of this for me!

I havent had a cycle since before my baby was born in 2014. (i was bf and dont have cycles while bf!)

I last bf on 25th Feb.

On 7th march I got a faint positive on a superdrug early pregnancy test (in the afternoon and not with FMU)

on 9th march i got a negative test with FMU with the same tests.

On 15th march I did a FRER test with FMU and got a negative.

I then assumed that the other test must have been an evap.

And this morning I did a FRER with FMU and got a VERY definite line! (pic attached)

so now i dont kknow whether my first +ve was in fact just an evap and its coincidence that it happened near me getting a positive, or whether its a positive too in which case why did i get negatives in between?

I have no idea!

November 2016. Hoping for sticky ones!!!
FuzzyOwl · 20/03/2016 21:21

Oooo, Orchid, I have no idea either. It is a fairly faint line for a FRER so maybe it was a coincidence. I know they don't have the most reliable reputation, but could you get hold of a Clearblue conception indicator test and see what it says?

FuzzyOwl · 20/03/2016 21:56

Good luck tomorrow with the test. Will add you now. Smile

MoreCakeMoreCake · 20/03/2016 22:14

**Orchid, that's well weird! Today's test is definitely BFP not evap, congrats! Can you see your GP and say you're not sure of your dates - they may book you in for early scan.

**Fuzzy I've PM'd you about secret squirrel Facebook group Smile

LittleGreyCatwithapinkcollar · 20/03/2016 22:46

Welcome new people! I hope everyone has had a good weekend. I have spent it feeling like I've got a massive hangover... nausea constantly, headache, dizzy and wobbly every time I stand up... Just no fun. Roll on a 4-day week is all I can say!!

Holly300 · 20/03/2016 23:32

Hi all,
This is really hard to write... I miscarried on Saturday at 5+4! I was in bits yesterday but feeling a lot more positive today that it just wasn't meant to be this time. Can't say that my experience at a&e was very nice... The insensitivity was shocking! Anyway I'm going to leave this group as I'm going back on the ttc bus! I wish you all the best of luck with your pregnancies and births in November... Hopefully I won't be to far behind you.
Holly xxx

pickledsausage · 21/03/2016 06:10

Oh holly I'm so sorry Flowers

LittleGreyCatwithapinkcollar · 21/03/2016 06:53

So sorry to hear that Holly. Good luck with ttc. Cake

goldfinch01 · 21/03/2016 06:56

So sorry to hear your news Holly, take care of yourself and wish you all the best Flowers

Fedupithink · 21/03/2016 07:37

I'm so sorry Holly Flowers for you.

I hope you are doing ok today.

Rocket1982 · 21/03/2016 07:40

Holly, so sorry to hear that. Flowers

Welcome to the newbies!

Orchid, that is strange! With 2 weeks between tests, perhaps the first was an evap, or maybe because your cycles haven't got going yet you could have ovulated twice this month?

Doing okay here at 6w1d but the nausea and vomiting was getting very bad so yesterday I went on cyclazine. Touch wood, so far it is helping and I'm still hoping to avoid HG/severe NVP this time!

Hightyy117 · 21/03/2016 07:55

Hi everyone!! I'm new to mumsnet, had positive test on the weekend after a week of very faint lines. This will be my third baby, and worked out my EDD to be the 23rd.
I'd like some advice though please, I had what I thought was my implantation. Bleeding a week ago and since last night I've had some brown spotting is this normal? I didn't have it with my other two pregnancies.
Congratulations to everyone!
Xxx

Canters15 · 21/03/2016 07:55

Oh Holly I'm so sorry. FlowersWine look after yourself.

Orchid, congrats!! I'd def go for the CB digi, I've found them v reliable with this pregnancy because theyve told me what I wanted to hear and def tell the doctor you don't know your dates.

I would like in on the fb group but I think I might wait until after my 8 week scan.... Perpetually paranoid.

Boobs on fire this morning. Also dry retched when cleaning teeth last night. Thanks for the nausea help, I expect mine is preg related then and will ramp up next week....

Fi84 · 21/03/2016 08:29

So sorry to hear your news holly thinking of you.
Hightyy I'm in a similar position to you. Found out I was pregnant with no.three on 2nd March and I've had brown spotting for over a week now. I didn't have this with either of my previous pregnancies so I made a doc's appointment. My GP referred me to the early pregnancy unit and I'm currently being monitored. maybe see how it goes over the next couple of days and make an appointment if you're still worried. Having said that spotting is very common in many healthy pregnancies. (I don't want to scare you) xx
