Just got my BFP this morning. Only 11dpo on our 5th cycle but hoping for it to stick.

I already have 3 DC. DD (nearly 12), DS1 (8) and DS2 (nearly 4).

I have 3 early m/c in between my DC so very cautious at the moment.

Anyone want to join me?

Oh noo, I didn't mean it like that at all, I'm so sorry :( it was the close proximity of it that has made me face reality if that makes sense.

You'd probably just started to get your head around it and now this, it's very cruel xx

FuzzyOwl · 18/03/2016 17:03

Thinking of you Fi and I believe that all scan results are inconclusive unless a heartbeat is seen. Really hope you get positive news when you go back.

Tartsamazeballs · 18/03/2016 17:06

Oh Fi, thinking of you x

Canters15 · 18/03/2016 17:14

Albus Flowers I don't get your midwife...Once you've seen a hb on a scan then there's a much higher chance everything will be ok. Sorry about your previous miscarriages.

Fi...I'm sorry. I really hope this isn't what you think.

Fi84 · 18/03/2016 17:39

Thanks everyone xx

Fedupithink · 18/03/2016 18:00

So sorry to read this Fi wishing you the best of luck for Monday.

I've just been given my early scan appointment - next Wednesday morning. Terrified. I will be 6+3 based on LMP.

I'm trying so hard not to get my hopes up but it's impossible. I work in projects so I'm having to start thinking about to re-jigging my workload even though it feels too soon as potential maternity leave will heavily impact my role as soon as the end of April.

On the plus side I'm very nauseous, tired and bloated and my boobs are killing me. Fingers crossed for good news for everyone.

findingmyfeet12 · 18/03/2016 18:04

I'm so sorry to hear that Fi. I hope this is just an early hiccup and you have better news at your next appointment Flowers

likeawestern · 18/03/2016 18:40

I'm so sorry to hear that news Fi, hoping for more positive news for you on Monday.

Hoping for positive news for you too Pickled.

FuzzyOwl · 18/03/2016 19:53

I think I am back to not wanting an early scan now. Apart from being tired and occasional cramps, I feel really well today and have no other symptoms. Even my spots are easing off.

Are there any risks with internal scans? I am certain mine would be internal if I had an early one because of my tilted womb and how much the sonographer struggled to see clearly at my 12 week one last time. I have had lots of internal scans, but they have never had a happy ending. Confused

Flamingo16 · 18/03/2016 20:04

Thinking of you Fi xx

AlbusPercival · 19/03/2016 11:10

So sick. Last night first time I threw up, think it's anxiety more than anything though

FuzzyOwl · 19/03/2016 11:15

Hope you aren't feeling so sick today Albus.

Tartsamazeballs · 19/03/2016 11:22

Albus I feel your pain. Just walked downstairs retching the whole way whilst the husband tried not to laugh... Bastard!

LittleGreyCatwithapinkcollar · 19/03/2016 12:58

Dh and I just had a showdown as to who was going to change dd's stinky nappy. I eventually convinced him pregnancy nausea trumps hangover nausea! I can't believe he ever tried to argue differently!!

RainbowPickle · 19/03/2016 13:55

Nausea definitely a reason for not doing stinky nappy! Nausea is coming at me out of nowhere and then disappearing making me think it's all in my head? Got up at 10.45 and I want to go back to bed, so tired zzzz

RainbowPickle · 19/03/2016 13:56

Sorry pregnancy nausea definitely trumps hangover! I meant X

findingmyfeet12 · 19/03/2016 14:20

I'm sorry for all of you with nausea. I've so far been spared that.

I'm in bed with a horrible cold today. I'm sneezing a lot whilst trying to keep my legs crossed so the baby doesn't come flying out Blush

I'm still not excited and can't seem to muster up any enthusiasm for the baby/pregnancy I think it's because we are planning to move to a bigger apartment soon and I'm thinking about that all the time.

funkky · 19/03/2016 15:52

Welcome to the newbies! I had a scan yesterday as it's a frozen embryo transfer and was completely clueless how far gone I really am. Apparently I am 8+2, not even sure I'm due in November now.
But feel better I'm further gone as I have a belly (ish) already.
Feel Really sick and Heavy and as I had a 10lb10 baby last pg was told I'll be monitored closely so this baby doesn't get too big

zoomtothespoon · 19/03/2016 16:30

Hey! Can I join?

Roughly 5+6 with DC3! I already have one of each. Eldest is. 6 and youngest is 11 months.

Totally shitting myself about this one!

LittleGreyCatwithapinkcollar · 19/03/2016 19:22

Welcome zoom! I also have an 11 month old! Grin

FuzzyOwl · 19/03/2016 19:48

Sorry to those not feeling well with nausea or a cold.

I think your dates can vary a bit at this stage funkky as sonographers are measuring in fractions of a mm. Good news that you will be monitored closely and I hope that you start to feel better soon.

Welcome zoom.

I have had a parenting win this evening. DH bathed DD and then I sat her in front of the mirror in my bedroom whilst I lay on the bed feeling sick, so she could happily wave at her reflection for about half an hour. Luckily she is only nine months old and finds that kind of thing hilarious but I just didn't have the energy for anything else and DH was out having a run.

Tidythatmess · 19/03/2016 20:30

Hi everyone

Feeling pretty rough today, it has been almost 3 weeks of constant nausea for me and am so ready for it to disappear now.

I just want to feel like myself but pregnant!

Also I am very bloated from the minute I get up all day long.

westergille · 19/03/2016 23:09

Been debating about whether to join the thread - feels like I might jinx the pregnancy if I do. But as I don't really think it will, here I am. 5+2 today, result of ICSI treatment.

Scan will be on 29th at 6+5 (early scan is standard for assisted conception) where we will find out, hopefully, if I have 1 or 2 on board. We had 2 embryos transferred Smile.

FuzzyOwl · 19/03/2016 23:30

Congratulations and welcome wester. I really hope the 29th goes well for you.

Canters15 · 20/03/2016 09:37

Congrats wester!

Quick question- those that have morning sickness, when and how did it start? Have had a couple of waves at random times this week but was expecting if it were pregnancy related it'd be a linear development!
