Just got my BFP this morning. Only 11dpo on our 5th cycle but hoping for it to stick.

I already have 3 DC. DD (nearly 12), DS1 (8) and DS2 (nearly 4).

I have 3 early m/c in between my DC so very cautious at the moment.

Anyone want to join me?

I've got my booking appointment! 31st March, I've updated the spreadsheet Grin

Baby40 · 16/03/2016 16:02

Mini how do you do the spreadsheet, I downloaded the app but couldn't seem to do it Confused

ChatEnOeuf · 16/03/2016 16:03

Tarts that sounds mental. I just called our midwives group up and left a message. They will apparently call back with an appointment shortly. Feels a bit more real now, had a random cry at the washing machine Hmm.

mangocoveredlamb · 16/03/2016 16:34

Thurlow can I recommend an espresso. I had an iced latte this AM, I know the caffeine isn't advised, but it's all I've had, and it really got things moving. Before that, I hadn't gone since Saturday!

MiniLop · 16/03/2016 16:38

Baby40 I had to open it on my laptop, then click 'share' and type in my email address. Then I could open it in the app. If you want to PM me your email address I can do that for you too.

Mango they say that you shouldn't have caffeine but when I was pg with DS I had to have a blood test for gestational diabetes and I had to drink a whole bottle of lucozade in one go! So it can't be that bad!! Grin

Thurlow · 16/03/2016 16:38

Ha! I'll try that. I just had a very confusing conversation with my GP. I asked her if I can up my dose. She said no, we're not able to do that. I said oh dear, so I can only have one tablet a day? She said no, of course not, you can move it up to two and see if that works... Confused I have no idea what she thought I was on about!

Figs and caffeine, here I come. At least until I can pick up some Lactulose on Friday, huzzah.

FuzzyOwl · 16/03/2016 17:00

Happy that the nausea has now begun. It seems so odd to be so pleased about feeling so ill!

If anyone wants to join the secret Facebook group, just PM me with the email address you use and I will send you the link.

Baby40 · 16/03/2016 17:37

Mini & fuzzy how do you PM on here?

LittleGreyCatwithapinkcollar · 16/03/2016 17:55

Hi all. Just checking in. Hi newbies, good too see you here Smile

Glad you're feeling sick Fuzzy, in the nicest possible way.
Sorry for everyone struggling with symptom. Apart from a bit of nausea my biggest problem has been terrible rage! I've become a scary teacher when I'm normally quite soft and cuddly! I find it quite empowering though!! Grin

Moggysinger · 16/03/2016 17:57

baby I think its a total postcode lottery! Round here (west Midlands) they must be super busy seeing pregnant ladies. Not that we're not, but we don't seem as important until we get a bit further along! Hmm
I'm not sure about her analogy that it won't help your anxiety though! Surely seeing a midwife will help, I'm sure I'd feel a lot better if I had just a little bit of attention from a midwife right now! Even just a quick chat to ask some questions. I think they must presume we get all we need to know from the internet. Which we have to! No one has mentioned the words 'folic acid' yet and as I'll be 11 weeks by the time I see a midwife it will be pretty much too late! Angry oh dear, sorry for the rant my hormones are loopy at the mo.

Moggysinger · 16/03/2016 18:00

Haha little snap!
I'm quiet enjoying my new 'take no bullshit' stance on everything.

bumblebumbling · 16/03/2016 18:02

Anyone got really heavy - is that the right word? - discharge? It's white and theres so much of it I feel like I've wet myself a little bit. I keep having to go to the toilet to check I haven't started bleeding its that heavy.

AlbusPercival · 16/03/2016 18:11

Bumble - yes! Exactly the same down to the knicker checking apparently it's mormsl

Baby40 · 16/03/2016 18:14

Moggy same here this is my 1st so I have no clue about anything, looking up on the internet just scares me, I convince myself I have all these problems! I only knew about folic from my friend who told me Hmm

likeawestern · 16/03/2016 19:11

Hello lovely ladies Smile. I'm still waiting to hear about my booking appointment too. At my gp's I had to complete a form and the midwife will ring me to make the appointment - I did that on Friday, still waiting.

I'm getting the copious discharge too, did with my other pregnancies as well.

I walked the dog up a steep hill today and every time I got remotely out of breath, the nausea and dizziness was overwhelming. Not sure if it's because I've had a uti since Monday or if it's pregnancy related but it's annoying!!

FuzzyOwl · 16/03/2016 19:29

Baby are you on your computer, phone or app?

Yes bumble so I am on constant knicker watch. It is horrid but it also is normal.

Hi like I am also suffering from dizziness and think it is just a delight of pregnancy.

Baby40 · 16/03/2016 20:02

Fuzzy I'm on the app

FuzzyOwl · 16/03/2016 20:54

Baby The only way I know via the app is to be on the first screen (Active) and click the three lines at the top, then select Policies and Support (the bottom one) and then it will take you to the normal Internet Mumsnet page and you go to inbox and type in my name.

bobcat85 · 16/03/2016 21:05

Hello everyone, thought I'd join the thread as I'm due in November.
Currently 5+1 with my first, feeling worried that something will go wrong but have nothing to base that on at all.
I don't think I've ever been so tired, in fact I'm off to bed soon I think.

MiniLop · 16/03/2016 22:12

Baby I've just PM'd you, you should get an email which will have a link for you to reply. Then you can PM Fuzzy from there too Smile

MiniLop · 16/03/2016 22:12

Hi bobcat, welcome!

likeawestern · 16/03/2016 22:14

Hi bobcat [waves]

sizeofalentil · 16/03/2016 23:29

Hello. I'm also a November-er. Around the 7th, according to the online tools.

FuzzyOwl · 16/03/2016 23:30

Hi Bobcat and size. Congratulations and welcome.

Thanks Mini. Any problems Baby then I can PM you and you can reply that way.

Slumberparty · 17/03/2016 08:22

Hi all can I join? I'm due around 16th November - wow it seems weird typing that sentence! It's my first pregnancy and was a complete surprise! Got my BFP on Tuesday. DP and I are early 30s so it is about time, but still.....we were very shocked! The timing isn't great as we have just moved abroad and were planning a very fun-filled Summer - but now it's happened I've become terrified that something is going to go wrong. For the last week up until yesterday I've had achy, crampy pains and sore boobs. Woke up this morning and have felt great all day with no pains or soreness at all so now am worried about the lack of symptoms. Please someone tell me that is normal!
