Just got my BFP this morning. Only 11dpo on our 5th cycle but hoping for it to stick.

I already have 3 DC. DD (nearly 12), DS1 (8) and DS2 (nearly 4).

I have 3 early m/c in between my DC so very cautious at the moment.

Anyone want to join me?

Hi Victoria now I've seen 2 potential babies in an u/s I'm just praying they both develop into healthy babies. But I know what you mean I just want to be a mum!! When is your scan?

Hi *spottyladybird
I've had cramps since I had my transfer, had light bleeding early on in the week and heavy bleed a few days later. Had my hcg tested came back really high and has a scan which was too early to see anything really but couldn't see where the blood was coming from. Consultant said as long as it's not heavy bright red blood (which mine was!) and accompanied by painful cramps them it should be ok! I know this isn't alway the case. I know how you're feeling I've got 3 weeks to wait to see if my babies are developing. Such a worrying time!

Hello, welcome and congratulations newbies.

Chocolatteaddict1 · 12/03/2016 22:30

Fingers crossed for you spotty try keep positive although I know it's easier said than done. X

funkky · 13/03/2016 11:11

Welcome to the new ladies.
Hi Lynn! I had one embryo transferred as they wouldn't do two.
How do you calculate how far gone you are?
I had the Frozen embryo transferred on Feb 9 and literarily could feel cramps from the next day I assume was the implantation. I have an early scan on Friday but not sure how to calculate my due date or how far gone I am.

Moggysinger · 13/03/2016 12:25

Ahh I see thanks fuzzy that makes sense. If we do go private, I think we will wait until 8 weeks too, for the reasons you mentioned.
Feeling happy today though because I used a clear blue digi and it has increased from 2-3 weeks to +3 weeks, yay!
Took it to my dh this morning who was trying to have a lie in, he said 'another one!' (I have been presenting him with daily sticks), when I told him to read it he look alarmed and said 'we're not having 3 are we?!' Grin

Feeling a bit peaky today bit determined to keep up my running so off I go!

Baby40 · 13/03/2016 12:54

Hi all so today I should be 4-6 but for the last couple of days had a really upset tummy is this normal? Has anyone else experienced this?? X

JadeT2 · 13/03/2016 13:00

I'm also suffering from some slight cramping and I'm 5+2. I'm hoping it's just uterus expansion pains! I've decided I'm going to book in for a 7/8 week scan at the end of the month for peace of mind!

Baby40 · 13/03/2016 13:54

Hi jade I've just booked an 8 week scan for peace of mind too Grin xx

FuzzyOwl · 13/03/2016 14:04

I've had alternating diarrheoa and constipation Baby. I hope it eases for you soon. When is your scan going to be?

Baby40 · 13/03/2016 14:22

Thank you fuzzy that's reassuring sorry you having that too! I've booked my scan for 9th April should be just over 8 weeks. This is my first so I'm really panicky! Xx

Spottyladybird · 13/03/2016 18:44

Thank you for all your support. Discharge has continued at points today but usually only after a bowel movement.

Spoke to 111 who said there was no immediate issue but to speak to GP tomorrow.

Spottyladybird · 13/03/2016 18:45

Fuzzy I have the same issue. From Googling it seems that this could hVe caused the discharge.

FuzzyOwl · 13/03/2016 18:52

Hope things ease for you Spotty.

Spottyladybird · 13/03/2016 18:54

Thanks fuzzy, and you.

FuzzyOwl · 13/03/2016 19:00

Thanks Spotty. I know lots of women who have had spotting and some with quite heavy bleeding but everything has gone on to be fine. As well as inplantation, sometimes the baby burrows a little deeper, sex or unknown fibroids can cause some blood to come out. Cramping is perfectly normal, especially if it comes and goes.

LittleGreyCatwithapinkcollar · 13/03/2016 20:30

Hope you're feeling better spotty.

I feel really achey deep in my pelvis. It's worrying me because it came on after DD's swimming lesson. It was really hard work lugging her round the pool and I've convinced myself I've done something which is almost certainly all in my head.

FuzzyOwl · 13/03/2016 20:56

LittleGrey your baby will be tucked safely away but because your uterus is expanding it is probably a little sore and sensitive, plus it is easy to pull it a little more. Anything you have done will just be causing you a discomfort and not the baby.

LittleGreyCatwithapinkcollar · 13/03/2016 21:31

Thanks for talking sense fuzzy. I know you're right. Pregnancy just makes me irrational!!

FuzzyOwl · 13/03/2016 21:35

That's ok LittleGrey as it does exactly the same thing to me about anything to do with myself but thankfully the logic stays there for other people!

I still don't have any symptoms apart from occasional stomach twinges. I know that I should be grateful and make the most of this time, but I can't help worrying.

LittleGreyCatwithapinkcollar · 13/03/2016 22:37

It's such a worrying time fuzzy. I'm worrying about the same thing. Need to remind myself that I have exactly the same as last time at this stage. It's dragging so much though. Pregnancy is bound to feel longer this time for me as I tested nearly 2 weeks earlier!

FuzzyOwl · 13/03/2016 22:40

I got my positive at 11dpo and time is really dragging! I am now rethinking and probably will go for an early scan to put my mind at rest.

AlbusPercival · 14/03/2016 06:17

ugh, i have a cold, every time I sneeze I can feel a pulling. This could be a long 9 months

Chocolatteaddict1 · 14/03/2016 07:24

Good morning lovely ladies!

spotty how you feeling today?

Tartsamazeballs · 14/03/2016 09:15

Hi! Just discovered this thread so stopped lurking and decided to join in. I'll be 6 weeks tomorrow with my first. Having bit of an anxious time of it- my sister had two miscarriages last year (at 7 and 10 weeks) so every twinge is freaking me out... I've had a lot of cramps and stuff. Will just have to wait and see what happens I guess..

Due date is 8th Nov- do I have any due date twins?

FuzzyOwl · 14/03/2016 09:17

Hope your GP is reassuring today Spotty.

Morning everyone! I have a horrible feeling I have the start of another cold. Since the last one hasn't fully gone yet, I can't be certain but it feels as though I have been ill for most of the winter.

Congratulations Tarts. Pregnancy is such a worry but cramps and twinges are normal.
