Just got my BFP this morning. Only 11dpo on our 5th cycle but hoping for it to stick.

I already have 3 DC. DD (nearly 12), DS1 (8) and DS2 (nearly 4).

I have 3 early m/c in between my DC so very cautious at the moment.

Anyone want to join me?

Hello!

Got a BFP last week and due November 15th (I think) with #2. Not many symptoms yet - a bit of acid reflux and a bitter taste in my mouth. Last time I had severe morning sickness (maybe HG but not diagnosed) from 5 weeks until 26 weeks. With 5 days before 5 weeks I am nervous!

It's great to read about everyone's experiences - congratulations on your BFPs!

mangocoveredlamb · 08/03/2016 20:56

We have s couple of friends also going through IVF, we're going to text them in advance to give them a bit of time to respond.

Holly300 · 08/03/2016 23:11

4 weeks exactly today and the super-sonic sense of smell has kicked in. Noticed some interesting smells at work today! I have a feeling the nausea isn't far off... Had a few waves of it today.

Can anyone tell me how I edit the spreadsheet to add my info?

pickledsausage · 09/03/2016 08:28

It's so funny how it affects sense of smell! I had an inkling before I did my test last week as I kept smelling smoke and peoples perfume really strongly on the train in the morning! That seems to have gone again for now though. Have definitely had a few light headed moments too! TMI alert: is anyone suffering with constipation/general weird stomach going ons?!

Here's the link for spreadsheet Holly ocs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ttMO3RUBPOnQmHdOil9GgSyeEaLRaJE8jMu67TMmbl0/edit?usp=sharing

It is open for editing to anyone who has the link apparently but if anyone is having trouble please post stats here and I'll update for you xx

H0p3 · 09/03/2016 09:08

Hi All! donteat yay! Although maybe stay off chairs for now...that sounds a bit risky with the dizziness!
More cramping here, dizziness when sitting down, eating everything and nausea for me. And yesteday I was so irritable I nearly made my mom cry! Not sure if that's a symptom or just me being horrid Shock We made up but I felt so grumpy all day it was unreal. Hoping today is a better day.

FuzzyOwl · 09/03/2016 09:09

I have alternating constipation and diarrhoea pickled. It is most unpleasant!

Thurlow · 09/03/2016 09:32

Rocket, I had borderline HG last time too from 6w to 20+w. I have Stemetil already from the GP who was very sympathetic and the lovely HG ladies on the other board said it was better to start the meds earlier than later. Touching wood, I'm 6w now and don't feel sick in the same way - nauseous and dizzy, but not vomity as much.

Plenty of constipation too, pickled, which is just lovely and isn't helping with the upset stomach.

Thurlow · 09/03/2016 09:33

Littlegreycat, I've just looked on the spreadsheet and seen where you live - I was born and bred there! Which estate are you on? (You can give initials if you want Grin)

Flamingo16 · 09/03/2016 09:38

How do you all get through work when you are feeling rough? I'm so nauseous and low in energy at the moment that it's hard to focus on anything. Thankfully I work from home a lot but I travel at least once a week for meetings so nervous about those days (especially with long train or car journeys!). Any tips?

Victoria1981 · 09/03/2016 10:25

Urgh I know flamingo. I teach music and drama to teenagers, yesterday I was feeling full of energy and really up for it. Today I'm exhausted, can't stop yawning and have to keep sitting down! Really worried about getting sickness, not actually sure how to manage that while supervising children! Just keeping fingers crossed it isn't too bad. Reacted badly to school cooking smells a minute ago (who doesn't) but at present it's mainly hunger and sore boobs for me!

Jessicacacaca · 09/03/2016 10:42

I can't seem to edit the spreadsheet, would you be able to add me on please pickled?

Thank you!

Thurlow I'm in Pennyland. Me and DH are originally from leighton buzzard!

Victoria I teach secondary English and it's tough when you feel rough. My biggest sign was losing patience with students and senior staff that's how I knew to test as I got really grumpy last time! The hardest thing I find is trying to sneak snacks in lessons to keep the nausea at bay. I'm currently trying to get polos in my gob while year 13 are working nicely!!

Victoria1981 · 09/03/2016 11:26

Glad I'm not the only one, LittleGrey! Year 8 doing physical theatre in groups right now! Very noisy for my poor head! :-)

Holly300 · 09/03/2016 12:59

Hi pickled, thanks for the link. I can open it but it won't let me edit. Please can you add my stats?

To all the teachers - from what I hear your job is tough enough without having all of these extra symptoms, well done for keeping up the brave faces :)

Glad I'm not alone with these bizarre stomach issues!

How did everyone get their booking in appt (if you have it yet)? I've self-referred to the hosp via the website, as advised, and have ended up with a 12 week scan date but not a booking in date...I have very little faith in the NHS at the mo (for other reasons but this is just another thing that makes me wonder...).

Jessicacaca I've added you in to the s/s

Holly300 · 09/03/2016 13:01

I have the opposite at the moment - diarrhoea :(

Holly300 · 09/03/2016 13:03

I love being able to discuss all of this. Finding it so hard not to be able to talk about it at work!!

pickledsausage · 09/03/2016 13:25

I've added you to the s/s Holly

It's definitely nice to have a place to chat, DH is already a bit weirded out by loo talk!

Please add mine as can't edit either!

Pickled- thank you! We love it but it's tough! I, too have lost a little faith in NHS this year due to a lot of missed/bad diagnoses of family members. I'm so glad we have it but...

Love to all xxx

Thurlow · 09/03/2016 14:15

Ah, LittleGray, I'm born and bred Two Mile Ash so opposite sides of the city I think.

Pickled, is their a number on the scan letter that you could call? We're the opposite here - have a booking in appt but no scan date. I'm guessing we get our scan date after booking it, but that's a bit of a pain as it won't then give much notice to work. They are being good but we're very busy, and as I live out of London and commute in, appts take a huge chunk out of my day so it's not the best for them.

MiniLop · 09/03/2016 16:00

I've added myself to the spreadsheet, thanks pickled! I'm 6 weeks tomorrow, still no symptoms really apart from being much more tired and hungry than usual! Hope everyone else is ok Smile
I have no booking in appointment or scan date yet either but I'm not worried, I think the midwife took a week or so to contact me last time, it's been just over a week since my GP appointment so hopefully she'll call soon!

pickledsausage · 09/03/2016 17:20

victoria I've added you in too :) I agree I wouldn't be without the NHS but my local services just seem so poorly managed - missing results etc. I do empathise with what they must have to deal with though. Hope your family are all ok!

Thanks thurlow I gave them a call and they're ringing me back...I don't know why I didn't think of that haha, I'm usually quite practical :)

I'm trying to get an early scan due to previous miscarriage and an existing large ovarian cyst...has anyone else had any luck with getting an early one before? Xx

Flamingo16 · 09/03/2016 17:37

I've not seen my GP yet, have appointment on Tuesday (when I'll be nearly 6 weeks I think) so will hopefully get booking appointment and scan booked in soon after that. Has everyone else due around 11th or later already seen their GP? Slightly anxious that I'm not seeing my GP soon enough...this is my first pregnancy so I'm quite ignorant about everything!

FuzzyOwl · 09/03/2016 17:38

I am not seeing my midwife for another three weeks. Feels ages away!
