Just got my BFP this morning. Only 11dpo on our 5th cycle but hoping for it to stick.

I already have 3 DC. DD (nearly 12), DS1 (8) and DS2 (nearly 4).

I have 3 early m/c in between my DC so very cautious at the moment.

Anyone want to join me?

AlbusPercival · 07/03/2016 08:36

Hello to all the newbies. Flowers

pickledsausage · 07/03/2016 08:48

Hello, another newbie here! I got my BFP last Monday, EDD is 7 November. Had a blighted ovum/miscarriage in November last year so am a little nervous but do feel slightly different this time so hoping for the best :)

5tar I've been getting mild period type cramps on and off too, I keep telling myself it's a good sign and its burrowing down in there!

Hope you're all feeling ok this morning

pickledsausage · 07/03/2016 08:50

PS the board I was on last time had a google sheets spreadsheet that everyone could access with all of our stats on, I could make something similar if keen? Things like age, what number baby this is, due dates etc xx

Thurlow · 07/03/2016 09:24

Hello everyone, welcome to the newbies!

I'm bloody exhausted all afternoon - but not that tired when bedtime comes around. Very annoying...

Pickled, a spreadsheet sounds good, I'm sure we're all nosy and like to keep track!

mangocoveredlamb · 07/03/2016 09:57

Hello New People!

I have the same problem Thurlow, absolutely shattered when I am supposed to be teaching my private pupils between 4 and 7 but then wide awake from 7 to about 11. Very frustrating.

I'm up for a spreadsheet pickled!

Tidythatmess · 07/03/2016 10:03

mango I'm with you. I also have to work between 4 and 7 every night (tonight until 8 Confused and it takes all my energy to get through it). What are your lessons in? Do you have to work during the day as well or can you rest then?

FuzzyOwl · 07/03/2016 10:17

Hello everyone and welcome newbies.

5tar I have added you to the Facebook group. If anyone else hasn't received their link or wants to join, PM me with your login email address for Facebook.

mangocoveredlamb · 07/03/2016 10:40

Tidy I teach primary (mainly year 4 and 5) English and maths, and I also work 30 hours for our local authority during the week, so no time to rest. It's a bit gruelling, but I will scale back the tutoring once this one arrives, and hopefully go part time after mat leave. I barely see DD during the week, except on a Weds afternoon! Luckily we have the holidays!!

Tidythatmess · 07/03/2016 11:03

Wow mango do you have the private lessons every day?

No wonder you are shattered, hopefully you will be able to scale back.

I wish I could drink a double strength espresso sometimes to get me through the afternoon slump! But to be honest the thought of it makes me feel queasy.

mangocoveredlamb · 07/03/2016 11:08

Just three days a week Tidy (although I am a soft touch and always end up doing extras!) I have a quiet week this week thankfully!

I have been having a coffee every afternoon because otherwise I would be a total zombie!!

LittleGreyCatwithapinkcollar · 07/03/2016 12:23

Hi everyone, can I tentatively join in? Got by bfp this morning but still very faint do trying not to get too excited! I think my due date is about 15th November. This is dc2. DD is nearly 11 months. Can't concentrate on work today!

FuzzyOwl · 07/03/2016 12:27

Hi LittleGreyCat (I have a big grey cat) and congratulations.

5tardusty · 07/03/2016 12:48

Congratulations grey! I can't concentrate on anything either, and feel like i'm lying to everyone!

Off work today due to awful tummy problems! Not sure it's pregnancy related, as my main symptom so far had been bloating and wind, or if it's 'thats bug that's goin' round'. Hope it's the latter! Morning trots is a lot more embarrasing than morning sicknessBlush!

5tardusty · 07/03/2016 12:51

pickled i love a spreadsheet!

pickledsausage · 07/03/2016 13:17

Ok! Spreadsheet is here, shamelessly stolen the column titles from another one :)

docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ttMO3RUBPOnQmHdOil9GgSyeEaLRaJE8jMu67TMmbl0/edit?usp=sharing

Fill in your details! Shout if any problems.

AlbusPercival · 07/03/2016 13:27

Thanks Pickled

Im going to see Dr this afternoon, apparently you have to see them before midwife, so they can give you your bounty pack Hmm

Tidythatmess · 07/03/2016 14:34

Well mango I'll be thinking of you as I begin my evening work tonight!

Just about made it round asda, going to have to start food shopping online because looking at all the different foods was making me pull funny faces... I keep catching myself doing that, someone is going to realise what's wrong with me because I look like I'm about to be sick anytime someone waves a biscuit near me lol

Thurlow · 07/03/2016 15:04

Oh yes, the funny faces at things you don't like. Makes people run for cover Grin

I'm currently wailing here as I've just realised I might have to miss something I've been desperate to see. My work has this wonderful perk that it sometimes manages to get famous people in to do talks, and late next week a very famous author is coming and I was so excited about it, but she's talking from 4-5pm, which means if I want to actually see it I'd have to get there at at least 3.30 - but given current standards of feeling rubbish and peeing there's no way I can sit still in a lecture hall from 3.30-5.30.

Sulky stamping here.

Spottyladybird · 07/03/2016 17:10

Another teacher struggling with evening work. I only work three days a week but usually do all my planning and prep once DD is in bed and at the moment I just keep falling asleep!

Booking in appointment made for March 21st!

orchidnap · 07/03/2016 17:15

hi everyone! Can I join you all? just had a bfp this morning after unexpectedly being sick in the car! No idea on exact date thanks to only just recently stopping bf, but presumably november sometime!

FuzzyOwl · 07/03/2016 17:28

Oh Thurlow Sad

Hello and welcome orchard

Thanks for the stats pickled

Charlierhi · 07/03/2016 18:00

Hello all - been secretly reading for a week & due on 2nd Nov. Finally told a work friend today & it was so nice talking to another woman about what is going on I feel urge to join in with the chat...

Oh God the "morning" sickness has seriously come alive today. It's just been queasiness in the evenings for the last week but as of today I'm in permanent mode. With DS it lasted 6 months!!! Don't think I can face that again :(

Last time my (different) GP wouldn't give me anything until 2nd trimester. Is there anything that helps in 1st?

mangocoveredlamb · 07/03/2016 18:39

Hi Charlie,
Not giving you anything in the 1st trimester is nonsense if you need it. I recommend going to
Your GP armed with info from the pregnancy sickness support website.

FuzzyOwl · 07/03/2016 19:18

Hello and welcome Charlie. Sorry you are feeling so poorly and I second heading to your GP.
