Just got my BFP this morning. Only 11dpo on our 5th cycle but hoping for it to stick.

I already have 3 DC. DD (nearly 12), DS1 (8) and DS2 (nearly 4).

I have 3 early m/c in between my DC so very cautious at the moment.

Anyone want to join me?

Oh yes, I've been going for the earplugs - but only in one ear because I'm scared if I put them in both ears, I won't hear DD if she wakes, or I'll sleep through the alarm Blush

I'm sure it'll pass. Sunday morning he has to take DD to football, and it is Mother's Day after all, so I'm going to sleep all day. We have to put together a new sodding bed for DD on Saturday so we may well not be talking to each other anyway by Sunday Wink

Knackering, isn't it?! I'm exhausted late afternoon/early evening, but then not really ready for bed later.

You can always call and ask if you need to self-refer if you want. I don't imagine it hurts, though my referral from the GP got me a letter back from the midwives within the week, so it seemed very quick.

RattieOfCatan · 04/03/2016 15:22

I usually have them in one ear too. the side DH is on Hmm Grin I couldn't wear them until we moved to this house share and I just had to get used to them, now I struggle to sleep without them. I've spent the past month trying to go without where possible to get used to it as I don't want to wear them once I have a baby!

They have no number! At least not one that they advertise! It's a big place that's got children's services, a school, a nursery, the library, two GPs practices in desks actually next to one another and, until recently, shared a doctor a social services bit, a dentist, the midwife clinic and a few others. I'm assuming that the midwife practice is absorbed into one of the other services so the calls go through somebody else first, but the doctors receptionist just said to pop in and self refer, so I assume they don't like to take calls for the midwife services!

I definitely feel sick today so it isn't just the bug we have all had. So relieved! Although I can't believe I am thankful to feel sick.

5tardusty · 05/03/2016 10:00

Hello Novemberers. May i join?

BFP this morning on ic and a clearblue. Off to buy a digital later. This is my first ever BFP so i'm excited but also shitting myself.

No symptoms whatsoever really. One of my biggest fears of being pregnant has been constant nausea so i'm hoping that i will be one of the lucky ones.

mangocoveredlamb · 05/03/2016 10:46

Hi 5tar

Welcome!

I am, amazingly, feeling really good. Apart from the crippling tiredness. I think because I had HG last time it's such a treat not to feel sick!

FuzzyOwl · 05/03/2016 11:03

Hi 5tar

Glad you are feeling good mango

I just feel a bit nauseous and am full of cold, but otherwise all is good.

Thurlow · 05/03/2016 18:31

Congrats, 5star!

I'm finding, weirdly, that because I have things I have to do, I'm less tired and self-pitying than I was at this stage with DD. Maybe it's the distraction?

Feel nauseous but no sickness yet. Desperately hoping that it's not as bad as last time though honestly I could do with losing a few pounds

Tidythatmess · 05/03/2016 18:39

Oh I am so tired today. Luckily I have been able to have a lazy Saturday so have spent most of it on the sofa like a lump.

Alternating between queasiness and hunger!

FuzzyOwl · 05/03/2016 18:56

I seem to have evening sickness and a friend is coming over for dinner tonight. We share a mutual love of red wine, so I can't see that there will be any hiding my pregnancy considering how sick I look and I can't use the car drive excuse! Hmm

mangocoveredlamb · 06/03/2016 08:08

How did it go last night fuzzy?

floralflower · 06/03/2016 08:35

Hi everyone, it's been a few days since I have checked the thread. Congrats to all the new BFP.

The tiredness has started to hit me now. Anyone else struggling past 8pm?

FuzzyOwl · 06/03/2016 11:45

Luckily well thanks mango. He is spending the next few weeks training for an event which includes 6am starts at the gym. It had the double bonus of no drinking and leaving early, which couldn't have out worked better for me.

I seem to have definite underlying nausea most of the time now, as well as heartburn, feeling sweaty and horrible skin. Most attractive!

How is everyone else doing?

5tardusty · 06/03/2016 15:36

Hi everyone!

Still feels not quite real and i can see i'm going to have to ration myself on pregnancy tests! Feeling pretty normal so far. All i've got is some boob tenderness, especially under my arms.

Guess i need to make a drs appt tomorrow!

WhamBamThankYouStan · 06/03/2016 16:09

I'm struggling past 2pm floralflower! So tired!

KateMossIsMyQueen · 06/03/2016 16:25

I'm with you about 8pm floral! I force myself to stay awake until 9pm just on principle!

Spottyladybird · 06/03/2016 16:50

Really tired too. I'm a teacher so usually work in the evenings once DD is in bed. Cried to my DH the other day that I'm not coping already and I'm only 5 weeks! Bloody hormones.

Also, joy of joys, I have thrush! Lovely. As if I don't feel crap enough.

MrsBW23 · 06/03/2016 18:45

My Labrador won't leave my side either! I can cope with all the nausea, cramps and extreme fatigue with this little face by my side!

November 2016. Hoping for sticky ones!!!
FuzzyOwl · 06/03/2016 18:58

What a gorgeous little face Mrs.

Oh Spotty, how horrible. Hope it eases.

I am fed up with evening sickness and my sinus infection now but generally feeling fairly ok most of the time otherwise.

Hope everyone had a good weekend.

Victoria1981 · 06/03/2016 20:46

Hi everyone!

Got my BFP today, due 8th Nov. This was after a lot of heartache and a round of IVF with ICSI. I'm 35 and this is my first ever pregnancy. Never thought this day would come!

So far I'm hungry, thirsty, headachy, boobs are tender and feel enormous and I'm very sensitive to certain smells. I'm a teacher and my job is miles away, I am really worrying how I'm going to go on with such a lengthy commute now I'm pregnant!

Interesting what you say about your gorgeous doggy, Mrs- my pet chinchilla is usually a free spirit but over the last few days he has stayed really close and kept coming back to me!

November 2016. Hoping for sticky ones!!!
Victoria1981 · 06/03/2016 20:49

Oh... I'm also permanently knackered, which I can see is a theme! Wink

FuzzyOwl · 06/03/2016 21:08

Hello, welcome and congratulations Victoria. That is a lovely chinchilla. I used to have one years ago and she was a great little pet.

If anyone wants to join us on the secret Facebook group, just drop me a PM with the email address you use for Facebook and I will add you. Smile

KateMossIsMyQueen · 06/03/2016 21:31

Ah! MrsBW! I have a black lab too and was expecting some psychic dog cuddles, but nothing out of the ordinary yet, he's pretty clingy anyway but he hasn't made a particular beeline for my tummy yet.

My uncle has an enormous yeti like dog who laid down next to me and rested her head on my lap which she's not done before, she's only two and spends most of her time bounding around or pestering people for a walk rather than resting. I'd be 100% overthinking it claiming that was psychic pet action, but I'll keep an eye on her from now on.

5tardusty · 06/03/2016 22:36

No psychic dog cuddles for me either. I've got a greet big ginger sharpei who needs to get his head around manners over the next few months! Have visions of the midwife reporting me for my over enthusiastic dog!

Period like cramps tonight here. Everything i'm reading says its v common and v normal but good grief, it's nervewracking! Sad

FuzzyOwl · 06/03/2016 22:45

I hate to say it 5tar but period cramps for quite a few months is perfectly normal. As you say though, it is very nervewracking.

Elemental · 06/03/2016 23:00

Hello everyone! Bfp yesterday so I get to join the thread. Periods not that regular so I need to get a dating test I think, although I think it's 4 weeks. Although having had 2 emcs in between my ds and dd, I'm not allowing myself to get too excited just yet. We'll see...
