Just got my BFP this morning. Only 11dpo on our 5th cycle but hoping for it to stick.

I already have 3 DC. DD (nearly 12), DS1 (8) and DS2 (nearly 4).

I have 3 early m/c in between my DC so very cautious at the moment.

Anyone want to join me?

Congrats pitter!

Not sure if the D&V bug is good / bad news, Fuzzy, at least it should be over soonish rather than morning sickness that could go on for weeks!

FuzzyOwl · 02/03/2016 17:41

I thought it was good Kate as I could not have coped feeling like that for months but now I think the affect effects are ms and these will be here for a while. Still, it will all be worth it. How are you doing? Still excited but unable to speak to your DH? I would hate to be away from mine at this time.

emilygremily · 02/03/2016 17:59

so glad I can finally crochet myself a blanket instead of all my friends having baby's

November 2016. Hoping for sticky ones!!!
pitterpatterrain · 02/03/2016 18:00

Thanks kate and fuzzy!

KateMossIsMyQueen · 02/03/2016 20:07

I'm better. Nausea and dizziness comes in waves when I've not eaten enough, but at the same time I'm not hungry. Still feels surreal because I'm the only one who knows (bar two overseas friends and my bestfriend from work who knew the second I turned down the chance for a bottle of wine!)

Cannot wait for DH to come back, just generally as its been two weeks, but obviously this is making it a thousand times worse, and not knowing exactly when he'll be home again, it could be in one week or two and a half!!

Those of us near 5 weeks (I'm 4+6 now), Ovia tell me our zygotes are now embryos, and they've started forming the spine!

KateMossIsMyQueen · 02/03/2016 20:18

Christ alive, just went to get in the bath and my boobs look fantastic (if I do say so myself!) as a long time A-B cup this is the one symptom I think I could get used to Grin

They also feel like they're about to fall off though. Definitely a look but don't touch approach...

Chocolatteaddict1 · 02/03/2016 20:51

Hi ladies can I join in !

I'm due on the 2nd of Nov but I'm going to ask for a c-section so maybe a little earlier Smile

Hope your all well

KateMossIsMyQueen · 02/03/2016 21:00

Congrats choc! Take it this isn't your first?

Tidythatmess · 02/03/2016 21:28

Welcome chocolate!

I got 3+ on a clearblue digital today at exactly 5 weeks so am very relieved as had bad results with clearblue digital in my last pregnancy which ended in miscarriage.

Still can't relax though so have booked an early scan for the end of March. Expensive but hoping it will be worth it.

Writerwannabe83 · 02/03/2016 21:49

How are you all working out exactly how many weeks and days you are? Are you basing it on the exact day you ovulated?

FuzzyOwl · 02/03/2016 21:52

That was a perk I found as well Kate as like you I have a small chest but sadly it all reverted back to normal afterwards. Sad And yes, definitely don't touch the rocks!

Hi Chocolate

I get really bad ovulation pains Writer so I know when I ovulated but my LMP means I am due in October which may still turn out to be true as I am also going to ask beg for an ELCS.

I am tempted to get an early scan as well Tidy but will see how I feel about things closer to the time.

FuzzyOwl · 02/03/2016 21:54

And Kate did the FB group link come through because I think I may have invited a few randoms with your name to be my friend by accident! Blush

Writerwannabe83 · 02/03/2016 22:02

fuzzy I got a positive OPK on the 10th and 11th of February (the lines looked equally dark on both days) so would that put me at almost 5 weeks?

I had an ELCS with my son because of health problems I had and it was a very surreal experience.

FuzzyOwl · 02/03/2016 22:10

So you probably ovulated on the 11th then, which means a probable due date of 3rd (I think).

I had an EMCS with my DC and the whole build up to it was horrific and despite me repeatedly saying about concerns I had nobody listened. Even now I can't really think about it all without going into a panic. Ultimately though my DC was in breech and due to my womb shape, subsequent pregnancies are likely to be the same.

Writerwannabe83 · 03/03/2016 06:27

Three negative pregnancy tests this morning so I guess that's that Sad

I hope the rest of you have happy pregnancies Flowers

Chocolatteaddict1 · 03/03/2016 06:47

Morning kate no it's not it will be my third (if it hangs on in there) Smile

Hi tidy can I ask what happened to your clear blue stick as I used one in September which resulted in a miscarriage. It gave me a higher date than I was

Hello fuzzy

I'm having a scan on the 11th of this month as this sticky bud is through IVF and considering the amounts e have paid we should get s few thrown in scans Grin

Boobs are so sore this morning snd had lots of weird dreams last night.

Anyone's sense of smell being a bit off?

Chocolatteaddict1 · 03/03/2016 06:47

Ah writer that's bad news. Sad

Hope you are ok X

KateMossIsMyQueen · 03/03/2016 07:03

Writer I'm so sorry, have you had any other symptoms / bleeding? Have you already got to the docs to find out what's going on? Thanks

Still nothing fuzzy can you dm me your name and I'll try finding you?

RattieOfCatan · 03/03/2016 07:06

emily That's a nice blanket! :) I've just bought lots and lots of yarn so that I could make things for me Grin

Kate Grin Grin Grin Had to laugh out loud at the boobs comment! My nipples are achey and have pins and needles occasionally, and my boobs are tender, that's my only boob symptom

writer so sorry to see that Thanks

I had an awful moment at work, (TMI alert) my bowels have been a bit more regular than normal the past week. I drunk about a pint of water in the hour before the (hour long) school run by accident too. Before I left I felt that I needed a numero dos but it wasn't a pressing feeling just vague so I left it. Went for a wee and off I went. Got to the school feeling fine. Got my charges, got back in the car and felt like I needed another wee. CBA to get out of the car as it's only half hour max to home so thought I'd be fine as it was only a vague wee feeling. As the drive went on I felt worse, then all at once I felt like I really needed the loo (both one and two!), and felt very nauseous and started to feel a panic attack rising, something I haven't had in years and was associated with my bladder control. I managed to calm that back down somewhat (I find that 'easier' when I'm working, if I were on my own I'd have been in tears and hyperventilating!) but ergh, the relief when we got home!

CakeAndChocolate · 03/03/2016 07:43

So sorry writer Thanks

mangocoveredlamb · 03/03/2016 08:43

Oh Writer, I'm so sorry to hear that. I do think you should go and see the GP. Have you had any bleeding or anything?

Thurlow · 03/03/2016 09:15

I'm so sorry, writer. Can you see your GP today to double check?

Writerwannabe83 · 03/03/2016 10:11

I've had no bleeding or anything. The odd abdominal cramp but nothing major.

I knew from that first CB Digital 1-2 reading that something wasn't right.

I think I've been mentally preparing myself for this over the last 3-4 days but seeing the negative tests this morning made it all very real.

I don't really know how long it takes for the actual miscarriage to start but I'm hoping it can at least hold off until my husband is back in the country so I have some support.

I will o my cry if I go to the doctors and all they're going to say is tell me what I already know, or do blood tests to prove what I already know.

Tidythatmess · 03/03/2016 10:14

writer am so sorry but don't give up hope. What brand of test was it? Have you had strong positives before?

chocolate in my last unsuccessful pregnancy the clearblue digital stayed on 2-3 weeks until I was about 6 weeks. Then it went up to 3+, giving me some hope, only to go back down to 2-3 later that week.

It was crushing and I was really scared to use clearblue digital this time round.

rattie you poor thing. I have had panicky feelings before as I am the type who always needs a wee, especially on bus or car journeys or in traffic. It gets worse in pregnancy I find. Well done for getting through it!

Writerwannabe83 · 03/03/2016 10:29

tidy

I was getting really strong positives from the 21st/22nd February.

I did a CB Digital at the start of the week and it only said 1-2 weeks despite me having ovulated about 20 days prior to that. I took about 2 more Digitals over the next 4 days but the reading never changed from 1-2.

I was also testing with various brands and the lines were fainter than my initial BFP lines were.

Last night I tested with three different brands of tests (including FRER) and although faint they were all positive. When I tested again this morning with the same three brands two of them were negative. The FRER still had the absolute faintest, faintest of lines but far lighter than last nights and undoubtedly loads lighter than all previous BFP's I've had on them.

Two of the tests I used (the ones that weren't the FRERS) were the two brands with which I got my first BFP and they instantly came up with strong positive lines at 10dpo. That was almost two weeks ago now and they both read negative this morning.
