Just got my BFP this morning. Only 11dpo on our 5th cycle but hoping for it to stick.

I already have 3 DC. DD (nearly 12), DS1 (8) and DS2 (nearly 4).

I have 3 early m/c in between my DC so very cautious at the moment.

Anyone want to join me?

Sorry for those who are feeling sick already. I can strongly recommend getting some meds, if you feel comfortable taking them. I'm on one a day of Stemetil which is helping with the nausea and dizziness and I'm hoping it stops the absolute crash if I do end up as sick as last time.

funkky, I remember finding B6 on its own very good with the nausea.

Well, told HR at least yesterday, though not my line manager or team. I was just having a slightly cynical moment and decided I wanted someone at work to know, in case anything bad happened.

KateMossIsMyQueen · 01/03/2016 10:41

Thurlow at what stage did your morning sickness 'peak' last time? I nausea is worse for me early in the morning and in the evening, basically when I'm tired, and I'm ready for bed by 9:30pm rather than 11:30pm.

I've not told anyone at work other than my best friend here, we were supposed to be going out for a big night out and she knew we'd been trying to get pregnant, so she would have guessed anyway. We're working on a really intense project at the moment and the hours are insane, I was meant to be in London early this morning but couldn't move at 5:30am without the room swimming, so I've come to the local office instead and blamed cystitis. I'm considering telling my team leader and colleague in confidence next week if it's no better, just so they don't think I'm skiving and also in case something happens at work (I'm here more than I'm home anyway!) but that will make it far more difficult to keep it quiet to my actual boss etc until 4 months, which is what I was planning to do (provided I don't inflate too quickly before then!)

Thurlow · 01/03/2016 11:03

Mine was generally always late afternoon, I'd do ok in the mornings but by 3, 4pm I started throwing up and carried on for most of the rest of the day. Ready for bed by 9.30 is perfectly normal though, get ready for that to creep earlier and earlier as the next few weeks go by Grin

B6 made a big difference for me, but there are plenty of safe meds you can take if it's starting to interfere with your life. I know there's a big debate amongst women that says you probably shouldn't take meds until you are seriously dehydrated, but there are middle ground meds like cyclizine and stemetil which are apparently very safe (as opposed to some much stronger drugs which they can prescribe if you have actual HG, which are safe too but just quite strong). Anyway, if the nausea is affecting work etc you can have a chat with your GP about it.

Signing in here. Just found out were expecting #3. Got a positive yesterday at 10dpo, stronger today at 11. So fingers crossed it's a sticky one. We planned to get pregnant but it's still a bit of a shock to actually BE pregnant! All being well, I'll be due 11th November.

KateMossIsMyQueen · 01/03/2016 12:26

Congrats wham! You must be a pro by now! Grin

WhamBamThankYouStan · 01/03/2016 15:01

Apparently pro's at getting preg! One month wonder again! Madness!

KateMossIsMyQueen · 01/03/2016 15:18

I've felt rough all day, a bit dizzy and spaced, like being hungover (ironically!).

Phoned my mum for a catch up in my lunch break, she said I sounded off and did her usual "Is it flu? Are you Pregnant?" and I had a moment of "SHIT SHE KNOWS" before remembering she has asked me if I'm pregnant pretty much every day since I met my DH. I also know that when we tell her she'll claim to have known forever.

FuzzyOwl · 01/03/2016 16:12

I have sent invites to everyone who has asked to join the Facebook group. If you have by received one, or there are any problems, let me know and I will send again.

WhamBamThankYouStan · 01/03/2016 16:15

Oooh fb group?! Could I join?

RattieOfCatan · 01/03/2016 16:44

Kate Haha, I get that when visiting MIL, feeling funny? Jokes about being pregnant, telling her we have news, asks if I pregnant Grin I don't really know if she'll take us seriously when we tell her that yes, actually this time I am pregnant! Especially when we told her not long ago that we are not planning to have children any time soon! DH's work situation changing has meant that we can and we decided on a whim to start ttc, exactly a month later and here we are Hmm Grin

I've been feeling hungover today. My lower back hurts too but that could well be from trying to correct my posture.

KateMossIsMyQueen · 01/03/2016 16:45

I can't see one Fuzzy! What's it called? I'll try and find it

Nahma · 01/03/2016 17:33

Feeling like you today Kate, dizzy and a bit feeble! Been SO tired also but don't think it helped that I heard a loud noise at 3am and got up to investigate, then couldn't get back to sleep.

I'm really looking forward to telling my Mum on Sunday. I can't keep it from her until the first scan as I know she'll want to enjoy the whole experience. We live 240 miles apart and are meeting half way to have lunch (crazy I know!) and I'm so happy that I'll be able to tell her face to face. :)

emilygremily · 01/03/2016 19:03

can I join the Fb group? I am extremely tired today teamed with a raging cough and new wisdom tooth on the move. dh said it looks like someone has punched me because of the bags under my eyes !!

KateMossIsMyQueen · 01/03/2016 19:31

Nahma your idea sounds lovely! So excited to tell my mum too, hopefully in the not-too-distant future when DH gets home!

I promise I will stop posting in here 10,000 times a day once he's back and I can tell a few more people and bore them with symptoms. I'm climbing the walls at the moment keeping it to myself!

Worst bit is the odd fleeting moment of "WHY DID WE THINK THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA" when I remember that DH has been away for about 5 minutes and I'm going mad, but when the baby is 6 months old he'll be away for 3 months. And I have no one to talk me down.

They're swiftly followed by panicking that I don't actually feel pregnant, and maybe I'm just poorly / imagined the whole thing / missed a mc symptom.

I'm genuinely going mad and it's only been 4.5 weeks. I'll be locked up by the time he gets home at this rate!

KateMossIsMyQueen · 01/03/2016 19:31

Emilygremily get that wisdom tooth sorted! It's free now isn't it? Or do they need actual proof?

mangocoveredlamb · 01/03/2016 20:26

You need a maternity exemption certificate to get free dental care. My midwife gave me the application form last time when I had my booking in!

Spottyladybird · 01/03/2016 20:37

Ok latest BFP, I think it's still quite faint. What do you think?

November 2016. Hoping for sticky ones!!!
LotsaTuddles · 01/03/2016 21:14

Don't think that's very faint spotty it's pretty standard I think.

We're telling PiLs and my mum tomorrow Shock after I've peed on another stick

KateMossIsMyQueen · 01/03/2016 21:22

That's not faint at all spotty! Congrats!

FuzzyOwl · 01/03/2016 21:25

Looks like a good BFP to me Spotty.

I am already fed up of feeling sick. This doesn't bode well.

Spottyladybird · 01/03/2016 21:26

Ok YAY! I had 2 MCs before my DD so not letting myself get too excited. But YAY!

KateMossIsMyQueen · 01/03/2016 21:47

Oh no Fuzzy! Is it all day? Can you get a GPs appointment for it soon?

FuzzyOwl · 02/03/2016 09:32

It seems to be a vomiting and diarrhoea bug that I have had but it has really wiped me out. Hardly slept last night and have a horrible headache and achy teeth today, as well as feeling sick. Roll on November!

pitterpatterrain · 02/03/2016 14:50

Signing in here. Took another one this morning (the fancy digital ones) "pregnant" yup Smile

Not planning on telling anyone this time round until after the first scan. Hard to keep it in though I want to tell everyone!

FuzzyOwl · 02/03/2016 16:52

Congratulations pitter
