I told my DH at the weekend! He was so happy. Loved how I broke the news to him and has been on cloud 9 since. I'm so happy!

Just been to the GP to get referred to the MW.

Whoop, exciting to get this all kicked off!

The exhaustion is starting to set in and I'm pulling my bra off at any oportunity. Think I'll have to get a larger size.

I've PMed its about the FB group Smile

missybct · 29/02/2016 13:11

Taffeta yes - although mine isn't like CM it's more just white discharge, in fact it's started to look a bit thrush like even though I'm not itching. It's reasonably common for me though so trying not to panic. I've had swabs taken with nothing to report. I did have some really bad itching a week or so ago but cleared up once I used a tiny bit of cream - which I checked was OK.

Has anyone else had thrush at all? Or similar discharge?

I don't feel quite so dizzy now, but around 5-6 week mark it really peaked alongside the sickness - seemed almost like motion sickness with wobbliness.

Had a dreadful nights sleep - DSS has a nasty cold (again...) and was coughing in his sleep - I'm a light sleeper (OH isn't) so whenever he stirs I stir - OH and I ended up having a stupid row last night as he kept waking when I was fidgeting - god it went on for an hour Blush ironically DSS slept perfectly through it! I was being hormonal and sensitive, OH told me to stop as it wasn't going anywhere and I couldn't help myself Blush

Hi missy. I don't have it myself but googled and apparently thick or milky white discharge (leukorrhea or "white flow") is a common early pregnancy symptom. Trying not to google things too much but this seemed nicely reassuring so thought I'd share. I think it's only if it's another colour or if there's any smell that it might indicate an issue.

goldenpineapple · 29/02/2016 14:12

missy I have the same discharge and have done every day since my bfp I think. I too think it's exactly what Taco says above - I looked it up on a pregnancy app symptom checker and it said just that.

Flowzer · 29/02/2016 14:15

adding myself to this one too 😊

dottydimples · 29/02/2016 15:04

Hello everyone,

I'm extremely new here and new to all of this (pregnancy & mumsnet). I'm so glad to have finally found a group of you who are all due around a similar time to me and experiencing the same symptoms. I'm not alone!

I'm about 6+3, to my calculations I'm due 22nd October - I could be totally wrong though as due to PCOS I had irregular periods. Anyway first midwife appointment is tomorrow, I think this is the same as a booking in?

Anyway - at the moment I have such bad sickness the doctor has signed me off work and given me some medication to help control the sickness/dizziness. I'm so tired too. I literally feel like I'm hungover constantly.

Ready salted hoola hoops seem to be doing the trick today though.

Nice to meet you all and I wish you all happy and healthy pregnancies!

Dot x

dottydimples · 29/02/2016 15:06

Also I would love to join the FB group if I can? Grin x

Afreshstartplease · 29/02/2016 15:40

Have felt sick all day Sad I don't like it Sad

7+2

Panda89 · 29/02/2016 16:09

Hope everyones sickness stops soon!
Currently feeling super bloated, like I have had a massive carb overload even though I've been really healthy today!

SimileMilly · 29/02/2016 17:53

Hi dotty I am all about the ready salted hula hoops as well!!

I'm 9+1 today and having a lot of stretching/pulling pains. Not quite cramps but a bit uncomfortable. Think I overdid it yesterday with a long walk but has anyone else had this?

queenoftheworld93 · 29/02/2016 18:08

I've had exactly the same since my period was due Milly

MsFiremanSam · 29/02/2016 18:15

Taffeta - gross, but yes! 😁

DottyDimples - I so want some hula hoops right now. Am going to get DH to pick some up on the way home. Mmmmm salt.

8+2 and cautiously saying that the nausea is a little less today...but then conversely panicking that symptims shouldn't be declining so early. Agh!

TaffetaMuttonfudge · 29/02/2016 18:43

Thanks all, glad it's not just me! Today was mostly spent with my jeans unbuttoned whilst sitting at my desk feeling bloated, sick and full of wind. Forgot how glamorous this pregnancy lark is! Confused

climbingcheesecake · 29/02/2016 18:45

Gurzleburg how can you feel your uterus if that isn't a silly question?

I'm absolutely shattered today, and totally with all of you on the nauseous/hungry vibe. I can't wait to feel normal again. When does that happen again....?

SimileMilly · 29/02/2016 19:23

You know queen I think my period should be due around now so that does make sense!

I have a MW appointment on Saturday at home where I should get my 12wk scan date. Can't come soon enough!

Afreshstartplease · 29/02/2016 19:34

Trying to cook through the sickness

Yuck

dottydimples · 29/02/2016 19:53

I can't do any cooking! My OH is doing it all. I will admit - most of the time it's plain pasta, maybe with a bit of cheese on if I'm feeling adventurous.

Seriously, the ready salted hoola hoops are a life saver.

I'm getting sick of ginger.

lotbyname · 29/02/2016 19:57

Can I add rosemary breadsticks from tesco to the list of Ms friendly foods. One just completely saved me from throwing up. They're usually on the delicatessen stall.

Is worth compiling a list of happy foods? I'm getting nauseated by foods so quickly at the moment.
Mine is:
Yogurt with frozen blueberries and honey
Cucumber
Breadsticks
Rice
Wholemeal bread and butter
Steak

lotbyname · 29/02/2016 19:59

@dotty. I HATE ginger now. I used to love it!

IndiX · 29/02/2016 20:00

I'm living on cheese on toast and Heinz tomato soup. Also craving salt like some of you girls, I have low blood pressure (dizziness isn't great) and read that it's your body craving what it needs?
When will I feel normal again without a constant lump in my throat/stomach and collapsing in bed for a couple of hours every day??!

dottydimples · 29/02/2016 20:44

@lotbyname ginger is really getting me down. Ginger biscuits, chewy ginger sweets, gingerbread, ginger cake - the only ginger item I kind of don't mind at the moment is ginger tea. That helps sometimes.

My mum said just to listen to what your body is telling you - obviously don't go over board on the calorific items.

Eurgghh bring on the part of the pregnancy when you feel amazing and everyone tells you how 'glowing' you are!

LisaTheGreek · 29/02/2016 21:05

I've had a letter for an obstetrics appt in June. I'll be just over 24 weeks at the time.

Anyone know what this is for? Is that a standard time for an appt?

pod100 · 01/03/2016 08:24

Has anyone else had any odd pressure feelings 'down below'? I did last night and it's there again this morning. Feels like a thumb pressing hard against the pubic bone. It's not painful but it is noticeable x

Northernlight22 · 01/03/2016 08:32

Can't say I've had pressure pod? I've had what I think are cramps but turn out to be trapped wind (so glam!)

In week 5 I had loads of aches and pains whilst I'm assuming everything was settling in

Panda89 · 01/03/2016 08:40

Pod - I get that pressure feeling too every now and then, it's quite uncomfortable!

Also when I stretched this morning it felt like the muscles inside my hips were super tight.
