EPU didn't do a scan as I'm very early (also think it's because the hospital is huge there were about a half a dozen women waiting to be seen and it was getting very late).

Dr said my cervix was slightly open, but not enough for her to say for sure what was happening.
They did a pregnancy test and I am pregnant.

She said to come back in a couple of weeks for a scan.

I'm all right bleeding stopped after a little bit, and I've decided to determinedly stay positive until my scan next Friday or I might lose the plot entirely. It helps I've been feeling properly retchy sick on and off all day which oddly makes me feel better.

fuzzy I'm keeping everything crossed for you too. Those waiting rooms are bloody grim, aren't they? This pregnancy business is turning out to be so nerve-wracking.

It's my first with current partner his first.

I have to DD's.

I don't think epu will do anything they didn't yesterday I'm going to just let it take its course. The epu dr said to go in if i was in a lot of pain or anything unusual happened (I really don't want to upset you all reading).

I'm going to bow out of this head now.

For the short time I was a part of it, it was really nice to have the support of you all.

Hi guys, 7 weeks plus 4 days... I think.... still not heard a thing from midwife re a booking in appointment...I've literally not seen anyone about this pregnancy...is this normal? How come so many people on here have had scans already?!

To everyone else who is having an anxious time with bleeding and the like, I am thinking of you.

After my sickness yesterday morning, I made it through the day and despite feeling pretty awful, had quite a productive day! Today I'm feeling ok - exhausted from waking up 5 times a night but not sick!

If I hadn't been pregnant then my period would have been due yesterday so it's nice to have missed a second one. It has reassured me a bit. Part of me still thinks I must have imagined the positive test results! Crazy I know!

I'm on countdown to my scan on Friday now. Although I should be 8 weeks 5 days then based on my last period, I have theories that I may actually be 9 weeks exactly based on when I think I conceieved. We will see!

clank I saw my doctor last Tuesday, who did nothing really apart from send a letter to the midwife team, and I've heard nothing from the midwives at all. Trying to tell myself to stop fretting: there's not much they can do at this stage anyway.

7 weeks today exactly. The wind is driving me (and DH) crazy. But at least the nausea isn't too bad. The boobs are enormous but I'm trying to manage with my existing bras as it still feels too early to buy new things specially...

Can you not make your own appointment with the midwife clank? That's what I have done. Usually the first appointment is between 8-11 weeks but it can vary between regions.

Blue if you want to tell your family you don't need a scan to do that, a scan won't make the chance of mc any less. Maybe think of it this way instead, if you had an mc would you tell your parents and ILs about it? If so then you might as well tell them on Mothers Day about the pg. That's how I tend to decide, our parents and siblings already know (I'm 6 weeks tomorrow).

I'm feeling a bit meh today. Haven't any symptoms at all. I feel like I'm distancing myself and trying not to think that I'm pregnant because I have a bad feeling. No cramping or bleeding. Just no nothing so don't know what to think. Supposed to be 5 weeks today. At this stage with DS I had increased sense of smell and sore boobs but nothing at all this time. Don't even feel that tired anymore......

You just get told to fill in a form and wait for the call here. It's so weird that nothing happens for so long! Sorry to hear your news fuzzy x

I know sex during pregnancy was mentioned a few days ago, I'd been abstaining due to worrying until yesterday but now I have some pinky cm....is that a normal thing to have or should I be concerned? I'm hoping it just surprised my cervix!

Hopeless are you thirsty or more hungry than usual? You could take another test to reassure yourself, it should be a darker pink (unless it was already as dark as it can go).

It's important to remember every pregnancy (even in the same woman) can be SO different to the last!

Disney I suppose I am both more hungry and thirsty than before but just assumed that was me being gluttonous! Is that a symptom?! I did another two cheapie tests a couple of days ago and both came up within about 30 secs very strong lines. Am I just being silly and wishing for symptoms when I should just enjoy not having any?!?

You may just be lucky and not suffer hopelass!

My first pregnancy I had little sickness
Second I had night sickness

First and second skin was perfect, Third and now skin is a mess

Consistent heartburn in all though lol
