Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 45th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 44th grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 58th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

i concur - pigged out on hot choc, muffin, marzipan, pretzel bites and more marzipan yesterday Hmm

i'm struggling enough with the uncertainty of EDD with a singleton pg mer!...i mainly fear him coming before I've finished up at work; an 8 wk window would be v unsettling

Not to scare you 5hell, but that's what happened to Mae! She missed her last day (and leaving party) as she had already had the baby!

Personally I am struggling with the 37-42 week window. Not knowing when it will happen is very annoying.

Midwife running late. She came in to stock the toilet though. Hmm surely everyone does their sample at home? There's no way I am trying to get in to that tiny pot and then handing over a warm bottle of urine. My aim is shocking and a damp paper label is not attractive. (I pee in my old ROC and decant in to the sample bottle I grabbed at my last appointment.)

Mermaid36 · 11/02/2016 11:35

5hell they like to deliver twins at 36/37 weeks, but basically if I go into labour after 27 wks, they will just deliver. It's pretty common for twins to arrive in that 8wk window absolutely no reassurance at all

honeysucklejasmine · 11/02/2016 12:26

Right. Seen the midwife. I am supremely boring so they'll next see me at 40+1. I am miffed. This is so first world problem... But I have absolutely no complications at all. BP fine, urine fine, no swelling, no SPD, no hormone problems, no growth problems... You name it, I don't have it. But I will still have to have a "high risk" heavily monitored labour purely because of my BMI. Argh. I don't mind CLU, but they said they'll need to monitor throughout... V annoying! I don't want to be stuck on a monitor for hours on and.

Baby played "hide from the Doppler" today so only got snatches of heart beat, but all sounded good. It's wriggling away.

Hope I go in to labour soon. grump

TriJo · 11/02/2016 12:34

honey Always in the disabled loo in the children's centre where my appointments are - they won't give out extra sample bottles... aim definitely getting more difficult as time goes on too, particularly when my bladder seems to get stage fright at the thought of peeing in a pot too!

CarrotPuff · 11/02/2016 12:45

Honey you can refuse monitoring. I would in your circs tbh. There's nothing to indicate there are any issues.

I just take a ROC with me to the clinic and then pour the wee into the wee pot. Or ask for a plastic cup if I forget to take my ROC. There's no way I'm aiming into that tiny pot when I can't even see my own foof.

KeepTheHope · 11/02/2016 13:43

Honey great news that everything's ok but that does sound incredibly annoying. Perhaps you will get a more understanding and sensible person when the time comes who will just monitor now and then grasps at many many straws.

I do have a question about bmi actually, do they just take what it was at booking in or do they take into account baby weight as you gain throughout the pregnancy? I'm below 30 bmi at the moment but won't take much to tip me over and it's something I've been wondering about.

MollyBloomYes · 11/02/2016 14:05

Keep bmi is considered inappropriate to use for pg ladies which gave me the grumps because my booking in was quite late due to paperwork fuckery so I don't think it was enormously accurate as was already putting on baby weight!

honeysucklejasmine · 11/02/2016 14:22

Keep they take your bmi at booking. You will get weighed again at some point but it's all based on initial bmi.

I hope you are right ladies!

KeepTheHope · 11/02/2016 14:23

Phew, that's what I was hoping you would say!

5hell · 11/02/2016 14:56

Bump is soooooooooo tight! Surely stretchmarks must be on their way?!

Keep they weighed me at booking in and calculated BMI then, no mention of weight/weighing since (now 33w), although my helpful shmanzy scales at home tell me my BMI is now well over 30 Hmm

Never been offered a sample bottle honey but luckily I work in a lab so just pinch one from there; usually wee in the disabled loo at work before heading to appointment - conveniently located sink makes it less risky/messy!!! Grin

Gosh, you poor people! Both the hospital clinic and the GP surgery have a big basket of them on the side so you can help yourself. I always take one at each appointment to fill up for my next one.

Discofairypants · 11/02/2016 17:33

That's great that everything is well honey but I can understand your frustration! Hopefully, like the girls have said, it'll be more relaxed than you think.

Have found my nausea cure .... Salt and vinegar Jacobs cracker crisps. They are the absolute shizz. Also, I tried the Cadbury Oreo eggs the other day ... Amazing! Almost like a reverse mini egg ... Crunchy on the inside and smooth on the outside. Mmmmm.

Shattered. I don't think work realise I'm actually going soon .... My to do list is ever increasing! Grr.

SecondCupOfTea · 11/02/2016 18:15

Crikey, I'm like Honey, my bathroom cabinet is groaning under the weight of all the piss pots I keep acquiring at each appointment. I fill them in my own bathroom with as good an aim as I can muster.

Just picked up some Raspberry Leaf tea (the Clipper organic one). It's bloody lovely! I told myself only one cup a day until the end of the week, then two cups/day for a week, then 3...but I really fancy another cup of it having had one. It's quite possibly the nicest fruit tea I've had, although I do drink a lot of peppermint, camomile and ginger teas, and have a taste for green tea (but not had any during pregnancy as I'm off the caffeine).

The BMI thing is a bit of a bollocks if you ask me. They took mine based on my weight at booking (10 weeks), which was 4kg more than I had been prior to BFP, and I've only put on another 5kg since.

Last day at work tomorrow for 11 months. Hurray!

5hell · 11/02/2016 20:19

ooh tea are you having a leaving do? hope you get some nice goodies form your colleagues shallow? moi?!

just had fun trying to tidy my bush...exhausted now! Wink

disco those treats sound heavenly!

Still working. Still poorly. Doctor found a polyp up my nose yesterday that will need sorting after baby is out. Discovered the ENT I saw in December never wrote to my surgery. Hmm On more antibiotics trying to clear sinus infection...

Being busy is good though - meeting honey's DN tomorrow and at least none of my work projects are going wrong...

honeysucklejasmine · 11/02/2016 21:15

Oooooh will you be there Sky? I hope she behaves herself, she's usually so calm and smiley so hopefully you'll see that too. Also see if you can tell who is her mum and who is Grandma as they look the same age

Dsis is being induced tomorrow. Lucky her.

I fancy toast and marmalade. But I'd have to get off the sofa.

TriJo · 11/02/2016 21:25

So my mum's still in hospital and she's got most of her test results back... turns out that she actually did have a proper stroke, caused by a clot and a minor heart defect. They want to check her legs for clots tomorrow and sort out anti-coagulant medication before letting her out properly.

Argh. Feeling like a bit of a prize cock now for not being home.

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 11/02/2016 21:38

tri you can't beat yourself up. If the doctors didn't know you have no way of knowing and besides you're not fit for air travel! Sending you a big hug and a handhold plus CakeBrewChocolateFlowers

honey I will be here working on something else at that time. I shall be hard to miss as I am rather large... how should I say I know you?

honeysucklejasmine · 11/02/2016 21:45

Oh I don't care, however you like! Online ante-natal group? She's young so spends loads of time on internet, its all normal to her. Hope it goes well!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 11/02/2016 23:53

Cool that's fine with me! I will probably be too busy to chat much anyhow... Just finished work now. Shattered!

5hell · 12/02/2016 06:28

I SLEPT!!! Grin ...so much so I have a sore ear (I'll take that payoff), hope everyone else slept well

And it's Friday and I'll get a cooked brekkie at work Smile

OP posts:
honeysucklejasmine · 12/02/2016 06:38

I hate it when that happens 5hell! It can be really painful. But agree, worth it! Enjoy your breakfast.

Sky don't work too hard, you're only just recovered.

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 12/02/2016 07:51

I had to work late to make sure everything is ready for today's launch. Only one more day of crazy and then I am pretty much on maternity leave! Yaaaaaaay!

ThursdayLastWeek · 12/02/2016 08:37

Morning lovely viroids!

Hurrah for sleep 5hell and I'm sorry about your ear.

What's all this about meetings up sky and honey (neice is it?)?

I am very much looking forward to my day. I have Pilates at lunchtime, then a DS free trip into town to get my hair cut and probably a bit of shopping, then DH & I are doing v-day tonight and going out for dinner to a naice fish restaurant. Wunderbar!

Three weeks today!
