I had my booking app yesterday. Now need to wait until March for the dating scan should be 13 weeks then. It's probably going to drag for me !

manatee I have a fibroid too! I'm worried about it getting bigger and then stating bigger. Does it shrink at all after preg?? I made a huge mac cheese a week ago, had a massive craving for it! Now just boring plain food. Yuk.

banana Oh god my brain is fucked. I can't even type properly or process simple information. Earlier I thought I'd got a colleague's name wrong and really thought about it for ages afterwards. I was right though thankfully (and I've known her for ages). My first pregnancy I lost a pair of children's shoes (I was a nanny at the time). Foudn them in the fridge. Then lost the child's school reading books, found them in the freezer under a bag of peas.
And I agree with you about the salty savoury foods. I had this with DS1 and 2. Secretly hoping for a girl so I'm hoping that doesn't mean what I think it does.... Though I feel terrible saying that! Obviously I want Shrimp to be healthy first and foremost!

Frazzle they offered me a scan appt the same day. I presume to save on travel.

I chose a time in the morning as my booking in is at 1pm - which means 2.30 let's face it! It's with a doctor first, then if you're low risk you never have to see a doctor again. But I know doctors - you're in the waiting room for literally hours. Especially if they need their lunch!

So I'll actually have my scan before I see anyone! It's crazy!

I might ring up and double check I 100% have to see a doctor. That's definitely the cause of the delay. Huge amounts of mothers, and not many doctors.

kitkat please can I join the FB group? I also searched and couldn't find the Mums and Bumps one. I think my September 13 one started as a closed group so we could find it then changed to private. But I might have made that up, helpfully.

I've been looking on fb help pages and I think it has to start as closed, private groups you can only invite people you are friends with to but then we can change it after we all join? With closed it says anyone can search for and see members but content and posts don't appear to non members - ie won't pop up on your friends' feed. But I'm not exactly a Facebook expert frazzle equally happy for you to do it?

My old antenatal FB group is secret. And an admin turns it to closed just to add people, then back to secret. Also happy to set up, or just be an admin and let people in

Let me just double check with the admin of my June group, am sure there is a way.

Closed means people can see you are a member, not that it's likely anyone will be searching but it might put some people off

Ok so I thought I'd have a go, I've set one up called September 2016 (MN) cryptic enough?! Had to add 1 friend to create it so I added my son (I control his fb so I'll log in as him later and remove him, lol).

Ah OK, so I could leave this as closed till say 10pm then change to secret and just swap about when people want to join? That sounds simple. Are people happy with that? And if those of you who know what you're doing can please join and take over as admin this might work well :)
