Wow! First here. Well actually mine #2 is due 30th Sept by dates but as DD was 10d late I guess Oct is the place to be. I was in Oct 14 so Oct 16 seems to be the right place to be. Anyone else?

Fingers crossed for you leo.

I'm not feeling particularly hopeful today. Had quite a bit of cramping but no bleeding. Scan a week on Sunday, I've had a look and there's appointments on Thursday this week - WIBU to try and bring it forward. I think I'd be around 7 weeks.

Blueskygirl30 · 08/02/2016 13:17

Finger crossed for you Leo. Lots of women bleed in early pregnancy and everything turns out fine, try and stay hopeful. I know that's a really hard thing to do though!

IndiX · 08/02/2016 13:23

Leo hope everything is ok.
Wetsnow I'm currently at my spa day and just been told I can't have my full body massage which I was really looking forward to and DH had booked as a treat, bless him as I'm not out of my first trimester and no treatments can be done at all. Just giving you a heads up, I now have to book in when I'm 12w. Oh well, poor DH feels really bad, but never mind. We're learning everyday!

mrsamerican · 08/02/2016 13:40

Poor you Leo! Cat and rest on the sofa as long as you want then, dear.

A friend of mine (a midwife) posted a great article about what is actually "risky" in pregnancy by an economist. Her book sounds quite useful. I think that the jacuzzi sauna thing is that when the outside of your body heats up that much, you are more likely to have a big drop in blood pressure and pass out when you get out. www.theatlantic.com/health/archive/2013/08/thinking-about-pregnancy-like-an-economist/278874/

This is my favourite website from my last pregnancy about safety things: www.pregnantchicken.com/the-list/ Do keep in mind that it is an American website though, so the stuff about all cheese being pasteurised isn't accurate.

Oh rubbish indix
Hmm will give the spa a call I think.

Hope all is ok leo

missybct · 08/02/2016 14:35

Hope all is OK Leo - keep yourself rested Flowers
Milly if it puts your mind at rest, I'd do it. But 7 weeks is early and you don't want to risk feeling more disappointed. Why don't you feel hopeful?

How are we all doing? I have the major 'rough as a dogs arse' feeling today. Like a hangover - my head is all stuffy, I feel hot, sicky off and on, hungry for shit food and just absolutely unable to concentrate on anything work wise. I really wish I was at home slobbing out, which is v rare for me!

ditsygal · 08/02/2016 15:16

fingers crossed for you leo if it helps at all, my friend has bled through most of her first 8 weeks of pregnancy but all is fine.

Just got home from a playgroup and really feel like I could throw up any minute. The last few days I havn't had much nausea, just tiredness. I'm somewhere between feeling sorry for myself that I am feeling sick so early on, and feeling reassured that pregnancy symptoms are a good sign hopefully. Its crazy!

Bluecarrot · 08/02/2016 16:04

Hello :) I tested positive yesterday with baby #3 due mid October.
DP is away and due home tonight so planning to tell him in an early valentines card.... Unless I blurt it out the second he walks through the door.

Reluctantnympho · 08/02/2016 16:05

Urghhh I had the hangover feeling yesterday missy the shakes, queasy, empty tummy banging headache. It's horrible but reassuring. Today I e got nothing which fills me with dread! Tried to buy some cheap tests today so I can reassure myself every morning, but they had sold out Sad

Northernlight22 · 08/02/2016 17:22

Can I tentatively join? I'm 5+1 now on my second pregnancy, first one ended in a mc back in August so I'm quite anxious about this one.

Luckily because of what happened I'm being referred back to EPAU and I've got my midwife booking in appointment next week. Just wishing the weeks away now!

Hope everyone else is doing ok?

kittyvet · 08/02/2016 17:25

Feeling very sick here today and craving fruity drinks (which is a new one for me)! Also starting to go off veg and crave bread like last time.

Dilli, thank you for replying. Ds will be 4.2 years old. And it will be about a month after he starts school which also worries me.
I totally agree with everything you've said and thank you for cheering me up. Dp and I are very close to our siblings and really want that for him!

Melon - how old is your ds? Mine's 3.5 and I'm taking the view that it will of course affect his life now, it will mean that he's not the sole centre of our lives and that our world doesn't revolve around only him. But...
One of the factors that meant we wanted another child was so that he wasn't and only. My dh was and this has really influenced him not wanting that for his children. So I figure there'll be up sides and down sides for ds, but hopefully the down sides will be for a few months/ year or so and the upsides will last a lifetime

melonribena · 08/02/2016 18:37

Congratulations Northern! Fingers crossed for you

melonribena · 08/02/2016 18:38

Hope you're ok Leo, thinking of you

Figgygal · 08/02/2016 18:44

My ds has just turned 4 and will be going school in September we had been trying for a year trying to time it so could be off for the first month or so in theory as mat leave can start 11 weeks before due date this may be possible but not sure what we will do the day or so Im having baby or if I need a section and can't drive for 6 weeks!! Ds has been desperate for a sibling he loves babies and little ones he's very good with them at preschool we are told. He will be very excited also means we will need his cotbed back so he will finally get his bunk bed he wants

I'm so symptom free though other than being very bloated was same last time but feel a bit more anxious this time round.

fish88 · 08/02/2016 19:38

Hit 6 weeks now, starting to feel a bit more real! Not got any major symptoms, just bloated and hungry. I'm hating not telling people. I want to take a big pack of biscuits to work to eat one every half hour but my work friends will cotton on immediately. I'm also having to avoid certain jobs and martial arts classes. Will be so relieved when we decide to tell people.

melonribena · 08/02/2016 19:39

Figgy, your ds sounds a lot like mine!

wetsnow · 08/02/2016 19:49

Finally sent off my referral form. Hopeful will get my booking appointment back soon.
Yes so tricky not telling anyone.

Leodensian · 08/02/2016 19:53

Just a quick update - not looking good here. Bleeding has got heavier through the day and cramps have started along with some clots appearing. Can't test for a few days but I'm not feeling pregnant anymore (I tried to describe that to my DH but didn't do a very good job, resorted to saying my boobs don't hurt anymore and women's intuition!).

Anyway, good luck to you all, sending lots of extra sticky thoughts! It's been lovely to be part of the group, however briefly, TTFN

IndiX · 08/02/2016 20:02

I'm so sorry Leo, have you been checked out or spoken to the midwife? How many weeks are you? I know someone said it before but even though bleeding is rare sometimes it doesn't mean the worst. Sending lots of love X

OrangeBlossom2 · 08/02/2016 20:03

Oh Leo, I'm sorry.

wetsnow · 08/02/2016 20:24

Oh no leo lots of love x

Figgygal · 08/02/2016 20:27

Sorry Leo Flowers
