OK, OK, so we already had a couple of babies on the last thread, but we're going to struggle to keep up with the number of new arrivals in this one!!!

Of course the work will put my currently clean house out of clean and action. I can't quite picture resting in bed with an ensuite refit going on.

Sighing · 26/01/2016 14:33

I am eyeing up a crowbar now. How hard can it be?!

Troika · 26/01/2016 15:04

Oh gosh lots of hard times for people.

I was feeling rubbish this morning and had a bit of a temperature so took the day off work, spent the whole morning sorting/tidying/nesting and definitely overdid it Blush

Have got a few things that were hanging over me done though. And have been good and been sitting in bed since about 1.15.

Sighing argh how frustrating. I can't believe how much cleaning you've been doing! I definitely do not have as much energy as you. By the time I get back from work I can just about serve a meal, make the lunches for the next day and tidy up the kitchen afterwards before I flake. I'm managing to stay mostly on top of the basics but the house is a lot dustier than it used to be!

Rufus glad less pain today.

Shocks my niggles and braxton hicks etc were a lot worse a few weeks ago than they are now at 37 weeks, kind of feels like it's not going to happen now. Fingers crossed yours is just your body getting ready.

Maisie hopefully your feeling of fed upness means it's imminent. I was in a right piss the day before both my dc arrived! Very irritating to go through whole history again though, that would leave me feeling a bit uncared for I think.

clumsypots · 26/01/2016 15:13

Babypots arrived this morning at 5am, absolutely perfect little boy 6lb 2oz Grin

Phoenix80 · 26/01/2016 15:21

Congratulations Clumsy Flowers

madsaz76 · 26/01/2016 15:26

Congratulations clumsy great news.

I think we are all just gonna get grumpier and more stressed on here till babies out now. I've decided I was a pillock to set off pulling everything I own out of cubby holes wih the plan to sort everything. I just can't do it so am going to pack it all into boxes in loft and do a small amount each week for the next few months - should be much more rational!

Just had a freak in a debenhams as a distinct feeling of wetness down below - worked water gone but it's just some icky discharge. Not mucus plug I don't think as not that sticky or messy but keeping an eye on things. Really don't want a dramatic moment in a shop Blush

madsaz76 · 26/01/2016 15:39

Worked = thought. Dame autocorrect

Sighing · 26/01/2016 15:40

Flowers congratulations clumsy! That's great news.

Sighing · 26/01/2016 15:52

madsaz I like how autocorrect is giving itself titles now!

NorthernChinchilla · 26/01/2016 15:54

MaisieDotes · 26/01/2016 16:11

Congratulations clumsy!!! Smile Flowers

Wonderful news! How did everything go?

madsaz76 · 26/01/2016 16:13

sighing I swear this phone is possessed by a vengeful critter determined to make me look an idiot. Though I have skills in that department anyway Smile

You can tell we are mostly on mat leave now - traffic very much increased and helped by arrivals. More photos!

IslaMann · 26/01/2016 16:47

Wow congratulations Clumsy.

XingXingFox · 26/01/2016 16:49

Congrats clumsy!

Rufus200 · 26/01/2016 17:15

clumsy huge congrats! What symptoms did you have before it all kicked off?

sighing bathroom leaks are not fun and good plumbers are so hard to find. Thankfully my leak seems to be resolved with new silicone but it still means they didn't install the waterproof membrane underneath the floor correctly as it should collect any leaks. Currently the shower head is jetting water onto the ceiling everytime it is turned on but I am beyond caring!

phoenix I would be really upset if my date was pushed back!

Saw the Dr this morning, burst into tears about the NCT baby. After that Dr couldn't wait to get me out and kept on standing up to encourage me to leave! Nothing has changed since last week, I demanded an extra check up on Friday to make sure that nothing is going to happen before next Tuesday. Dr was extremely dismissive of back pain as a sign of early labour! Dr has 4 women due this weekend already so she is going to be extremely busy!

Back pain has started up again this afternoon. Went and bought a value pack of heat pads for my back. Apparently my hospital only uses those ready made bottles of formula with sterilised teats and charges 3x the cost for each one, so was told to go and buy some. Can't sterilise bottles there either! Dragged round multiple boots and super drug, only to find none of them sold them. Had to order online but then found free delivery doesn't apply to baby milk. Really annoyed that baby milk is exempt from point spends with boots as well!

MaryEllen1 · 26/01/2016 17:48

Congrats clumsy

madsaz76 · 26/01/2016 18:26

Going to be in trouble when DH gets home. Was delighted to realise I could dismantle the spa jet outlets, clean them then clean the system.

You are meant to put a measured amount of cleaner in but I just guessed.

I am now sat on loo supervising as bubbles get higher and higher. Oops. On plus side will definitely be clean Grin

goldmaple · 26/01/2016 18:58

Congrats clumsy!! Enjoy all those newborn snuggles! Feel free to share symptoms etc... Before birth and birth story (if everyone is okay with hearing the stories)

madsaz I've had s good laugh at your picture/post. Hopefully DH will admire your ambition. I'm impressed you could bend over to reach the jets!!

Had appt today. 37+3, they offer rimming at 38+ wks plus, so next week. I had one with DC 2 at 39wks (he came at 39+3). Coincidence?? Does anyone have an experience where it actually triggered labor. Also, mine wasn't painful... Any input would be great

MidnightRun · 26/01/2016 19:32

Congrats clumsy Thanks lovely news!!

My lovely DH ran me a bath this evening before he went to the gym, we're making the most of our time before we become parents.

My bump looks and feels like it's dropped, definitely lower and more rounded, and I'm not feeling as much pressure under my ribs! Anyone else feeling this?

MaisieDotes · 26/01/2016 19:48

gold I'm not familiar with that terminology, I think it might have a different meaning here so I'm not keen to google!! Is it a sweep? If so I'd take it! I'm gutted they do nothing here until 40+12. I've just eaten half a pineapple including the core and now my tongue is killing me.

My bump is low, round and extremely sticky-out. I look as if I have hurriedly hidden a beachball under my jumper Blush

DD (14) is driving me bananas. I had to confiscate her phone a few days ago due to some seriously bad behaviour and now she is obviously bored so following me around asking me if I'm in labour. I finally snapped earlier when she said "are you really in labour and just not saying?"

Aaaaagggghhh Angry Angry

Newlywed123 · 26/01/2016 19:51

Gold what's rimming?

MaisieDotes · 26/01/2016 19:52

Ooh madsaz I meant to say- that looks like a nesting burst to me!

I did random and excessive cleaning jobs about three days before both DCs 1&2.
