Best Christmas present ever - September 2016

Hi ladies,

I've been TTC2 for 1.5 years and I've just found out I'm pregnant 1 day before Xmas eve! Best present ever! Anyone else celebrating a bfp this Christmas? I've already had to dodge chocolate mousse, champagne and Stilton...all worth it though!!

annarose my eldest sister has had 2 failed ivfs and is saving for their last attempt. I've not told her yet. Just feel so sad for them as this baby is a surprise and unplanned #4. I was supposed to see her yesterday and cancelled :-(

rif I'm so sorry to hear your sad news. I hope you are doing ok and have lots of RL support. The miscarriage boards are amazingly supportive and knowledgeable and they helped me massively.

There is a stats list some pages back - I'll have a look for it. Also what do you think about adding some other into to it so you can find people in similar situations (there are so many of us now!) maybe existing DC / age / mc ? Anything else anyone can think of?

Thanks all for the support, means a lot. I will hide this group from this evening so as to not bring the mood down on here as I don't want to scare or stress anyone out - after all, the VAST majority of you will have healthy pregnancies, and so this should be a place for you to get excited about it.

I am lucky to have a really good support network around me in RL, and will also look at the MC boards as suggested.

Hi all, just popping in to say EVERYTHING IS FINE!! Blood test results all good and scan next Monday. PHEW!

So, on Monday I'll be able to add my official due date, whoop.

I got a very surprising BFP yesterday - on cycle day 81!! Who knows how they are going to date it...my cycles have been insane since coming off the pill. It's going to be tricky convincing them that I am not over 3 months pregnant (been doing regular pg tests throughout cycle & I'm pretty certain I know when I ovulated)! I think I am around 4/5 weeks - do those clear blue digi tests tell you if you are over 2-3 weeks?

Guestimating that I am due in late September...

Congrats chill! The highest those tests go up to is 3+ it will be exciting to find out how far along you are
