Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 43rd grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 42nd grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 56th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates. (Except it's not because I don't know how to link to the stats sheet!)

*more uncomfortable NOW that should have said!

Hobbit19 · 24/12/2015 11:29

Oof, that does sound uncomfortable Pretzel.

Sage and wise advice there 5hell. I thank you.

CarrotPuff · 24/12/2015 11:34

Thursday unfortunately my toddler hasn't given me immunity for pregsomnia. I didn't really have it last time, maybe a few times in the early weeks. It's not too bad now, I get it maybe a couple times a week, but it's hard to recover from it if DS decides 5am is good time to wake up Confused

Well remembered honey!

Pud I predict Boxing Day baby, or 27th. This is based on nothing!

CarrotPuff · 24/12/2015 11:35

Oh pretz I didn't know mini pretz was breech. Still lots of time to turn.

pretzelpieces · 24/12/2015 11:52

Yeah, still time for her to turn. Will see what the midwife says about her position next week and then scan the following week is when they want me to make decisions (36 wks).

Asshole council have sent a nasty letter about rent payments that arrived today. Merry fucking Christmas twat face council, now I have to drive around looking for a post office open because you've only given me one inconvenient payment method choice. Utter cocks!!

pretzelpieces · 24/12/2015 14:03

Rent is sorted and got all my diabetes meds refilled, hooray!

I've posted my birth plan in the fb group if anyone fancies some festive birth plan reviewing Xmas Grin

ThursdayLastWeek · 24/12/2015 18:31

Phew, poor pretz that's sounds like not much fun in Xmas eve.

I've worn myself out today I think, cooking and cleaning. DH did take DS out for a couple of hours and I fell asleep on the sofa for 20mins. I woke myself mid enormous snore Xmas Blush!

Everyone else ok?

All good here, just had the first Christmas dinner. Was yummy! DH now lighting the fire. Perfect.

Hope you are all chilling this eve!

pretzelpieces · 24/12/2015 23:02

We had a nice day but I currently feel like I've fallen back into the pit of being terrified of the birth. All these complications mean I'm so much more likely to have interventions I don't want than if I'd at least had a shot at a natural birth. I don't want to be traumatised after like my sister was. I've just got my mental health to a good place in the last year and I want to be in strong mindset for the baby Sad

pretzelpieces · 24/12/2015 23:12

Also, er, merry Christmas everyone! Sorry for losing my Christmas spirit somewhat. Xmas Blush

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 25/12/2015 00:10

pretz you are incredibly strong! Just look at how much you cave been though and how far you have come. You have got this.

pretzelpieces · 25/12/2015 03:37

Thank you sky. You're right, whatever happens, I'll get through it and it will be worth it.

I'm having a double whammy of pregsomnia/anxiety and Christmas excitement! Always did sleep rubbish on Christmas Eve...

pretzelpieces · 25/12/2015 03:38

Also psst, pretty sure looking is doing a baby!!!! POMPOMS

honeysucklejasmine · 25/12/2015 06:42

Pretzel you will rock it. Your baby has been grown, from a single cell to a sentient being by you, all by yourself. Giving birth is no big deal after that!

pompoms for Looking! Come on, Christmas Baby!

jellypi3 · 25/12/2015 06:51

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!!

ThursdayLastWeek · 25/12/2015 06:57

Merry Christmas!

Oh man, I seriously hope looking is doing a baby!

pretz - I think the very fact that you will be going into your labour with your eyes wide open and full of understanding will help keep your mental health strong. Physically, it might be hard, but it's so important to keep an open mind. And you're so so self aware I don't believe you'd let yourself get really ill, even if the worst did happen and you felt like you were suffering PND. I believe in you basically. And your baby will too Xmas Smile

The house is v quiet - last year of this for a while I expect!

weeps you lot are so lovely and supportive, thank you Star I hope you all have amazing Christmases and the fucking awesome new years you all deserve.

5hell · 25/12/2015 08:26

Merry Christmas ya filthy animals! Xmas Grin

I've already had the best Xmas present...sleep!!! ignoring sore throat and hoping it's reflux related not illness

Pretz the others are right, you've got this!

jellypi3 · 25/12/2015 08:30

I agree pret you will do amazingly :) and almost certainly beat me to the finish line!!

YogaPants · 25/12/2015 09:09

Oh, we might have a JS Christmas babe on the way! Xmas Smile

Prez I believe in you. You may not have the intervention free birth you originally wanted, but you can still be clear in what interventions you are comfortable with or not.

fruitlovingmonkey · 25/12/2015 09:15

Merry Christmas viroids!

YogaPants · 25/12/2015 09:34

It seems both people in a couple can suffer from pregnancy-related, emotional outbursts.

At PIL's for Xmas. At the end of xmas eve dinner MIL starts talking about the BBC news story with little girl who called 999. SlL says she wants to here the clip with the call. DH says he doesn't feel comfortable. MIL says it is cute and has a happy ending. DH says he really doesn't want to. SIL says she wants to. MIL puts it on. We get to the point where the little girl says "the baby is in mummy's tummy" and husband starts sobbing. I look at him and imagine me lying dead at the bottom of the stairs and start bawling alongside him. ILs quickly turn clip off, proffer us tissues and vacate to the livingroom to give us space to recover.

note: I had also shed a tear over this in the morning so I even knew what was coming

lildottie · 25/12/2015 10:43

Merry christmas viroids. Cant believe this time last year i was sat watching my 4m old niece feeling v jealous and now im gere with ypu grads with an ever expanding middle! Best Christmas ever!

Oh yoga bless him! Soppy git!

pretzel youve got this. I can't begin to understand the anxiety you are dealing with but I totally get the not wanting interventions. Even now in already freaking at the idea they won't let me go past my due date so I'm going to be more likely to get induced. But you got this, so you can chill me out in 6m OK?!

Excited for looking doing a Christmas baby!

fruitlovingmonkey · 25/12/2015 10:46

Wow, yoga that's really emotional. I just listened to it and had a little cry too. It's lovely that your DH is sensitive, mine always looks a bit awkward when I get soppy!

Hobbit19 · 25/12/2015 11:12

Oh bless him Yoga, must be the pregnancy hormones!

Pretzel, you are going to be fine, you are stronger than you give yourself credit for. I also think that with natural birthing shenanigans (Daisy, hypno etc) they can make you feel that all interventions are TERRIBLE when in reality lots of them are performed for really really good reasons.

So happy for you Lil, I think your middle is going to expand even more today! Grin
