Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 43rd grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 42nd grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 56th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates. (Except it's not because I don't know how to link to the stats sheet!)

My vagina aches! What the fuck is this? It's not muscles or anything. It's my actual foof bone. Is this baby shifting down?

38 weeks to today.

CarrotPuff · 14/01/2016 12:54

Yay, go Niff!

Sympathies jelly. Probably baby changed position.

SPD is kicking my arse today. I can barely walk... Sad

LaLaLaaaa · 14/01/2016 12:57

pops head in to wave Pom poms yay go niff!!!!

Cmon baby niff!

jellypi3 · 14/01/2016 13:04

I almost cried hearing about Alan Rickman...what a sad week for showbiz :(

KeepTheHope · 14/01/2016 13:09

I was quite shocked at the news jelly. I didn't know he was ill.

I must admit, while sad, I wasn't surprised about David Bowie. About two and a half years ago I worked in a London recording studio and someone from a record label told us he had cancer, quite a reliable source, I was just surprised when they said he only had it for 18 months because we were told at least a year before that.

Nefertitts · 14/01/2016 14:24

This is going pretty slowly... Was having contractions every 5 mins for about 8 hours then suddenly slowed down earlier. Currently watching clueless and eating Nutella on toast... I want this baby OUT! Thanks for all the Pom poms viroids, don't wear them out too soon!

pretzelpieces · 14/01/2016 14:30

carrot sorry about the spd. Flowers

jelly I've been getting a lot of pressure low down. Hoping it means the babies are moving down!

Nfm boobs: they are sore today. Need to try expressing again later. I didn't manage much this morning other than a quick massage.

Went to a fear release course and delivery ward tour at the hospital today, which was really good. Feeling (more) positive and hoping the feeling lasts. MLU is heaps nicer than where I'll be though

niff waving my pompoms for you! Goooo niff!

pretzelpieces · 14/01/2016 14:31

Ah sorry it's going slowly. Hang in there, rest lots, sounds like you're doing all the right things, especially the Nutella Grin

Hobbit19 · 14/01/2016 14:55

Niff things are probably moving in the right direction even if you can't feel it at the mo - think of it as pain free labour!

Pretz that's great that you are feeling a little more positive!

SockQueen · 14/01/2016 15:50

Can I tentatively tiptoe in?

I'm ~5+4, after my 2nd cycle of Clomid and if you've been following the Conception JSing thread you'll know this was somewhat unexpected after a very late icing! Had a scan at the fertility clinic today, they could see a ~3mm fetal pole, but no heartbeat yet. I'm relieved there's something there, but it feels like a hundred years before my next scan on 26th when if I'm still upduffed we should see a heartbeat.

Not feeling too bad so far, I'm getting waves of nausea and occasional dry retching, but haven't actually vomited yet.

KeepTheHope · 14/01/2016 15:58

Niff I'm sure things are happening even if it doesn't feel like it. Try to rest while you can and gx baby niff doesn't keep you waiting too much longer.

Pretz I'm glad you're feeling a bit better after your visit. I'm sure it will be fine Smile

Hi sock! Welcome. I'm not going to lie, the waiting is slow and frustrating! Everything crossed that it doesn't drag too much and all is well at the next scan.

So my friend who was coming up at the weekend has had to cancel. Her friend has had three unexplained seizures in the last 24 hours and needs someone to stay with her over the weekend. It sounds horrible and I feel really sorry for her but I'm also kind of gutted as I was really looking forward to seeing her.

honeysucklejasmine · 14/01/2016 16:00

Hi Sock, welcome welcome!

We are about to experience a massive baby boom so we need newbies! There are seven of us due to end of Feb, then another 7 or so in March... It's going to be mental!

ThursdayLastWeek · 14/01/2016 16:06

Welcome sock!

OP posts:
pretzelpieces · 14/01/2016 16:53

Blimey honey I didn't realise it was that many! A lot of that is March madness isn't it Grin

sock welcome! Fantastic to have you along. Congratulations again!

keep that's too bad about your friend and your friend's friend Sad

niff gx you're in stealth labour!

My social worker finally got in touch and I have another appointment! Let's hope this one doesn't get cancelled as it's the last shot to see her and arrange postnatal mental health support. But hooray!

fruitlovingmonkey · 14/01/2016 17:06

Welcome Sock, we will be here for hand holding and pg questions.
Glad you are feeling batter today Pretz. If it helps, anytime I see MLU written down I always think Motherfucking Labour Unit...doesn't sound so sweet and nice and filled with rainbows and kittens that way, huh?
Hope things start picking up soon Niff
I am seeing my friend who is about to drop tomorrow. She's chosen to give birth at a swanky clinic, whereas I've chosen the main hospital. I really hope she doesn't start trying to persuade me to choose the clinic, I've had it so many times from other people and I'm really sick of it. It's like a 5 star hotel with birthing options but it's small and I'm paranoid and would much rather have full medical facilities just in case me or the little guy need intensive care.

honeysucklejasmine · 14/01/2016 17:25

Well it goes, if I recall... Niff, Gouda, Jelly, Pretzel, Mae, Honey and Cake by end of Feb. Then every bloody body else in March!

Last summer was a good one for shagging!

SockQueen · 14/01/2016 17:37

Fruit I'd rather have proper resuscitation and ICU facilities (adult and neonatal) than a swanky bed and fancy food. There are some things I would consider private medical care for, but childbirth is not one of them. My perspective of childbirth is massively skewed because in my job I never see women having a normal labour - only when they have to come to theatre or need an epidural. I actually love obstetric anaesthetics though!

jellypi3 · 14/01/2016 18:12

Welcome aboard sock :) feel free to add yourself to the stats when you are ready to!

niff sorry to hear things have slowed down :( gx they ramp up soon!

pret i'm so gutted for you not being able to use the MLU, but just think you will have your baby so soon! Probably 2 fucking weeks before my one decides to show!

fruit go where you feel most comfortable. It's your body and your birth, don't feel pressured by anyone!

I can't believe how many of us are graduating in the next few weeks. The march baby boom is going to make things very quiet lol!

My foof ache has gone, but I have peed about 12 times today. Baby must be moving down the shoot, surely!?

pretzelpieces · 14/01/2016 19:22

Thanks jelly and who knows, they might share a birthday! Smile

The undergrads must be a due a bfp boom and we're just making space for them!

pretzelpieces · 14/01/2016 19:27

I saw a lady I know at the fear class today and she was going straight for induction after (she has gd too and they're worried about her placenta). Squee so I am eagerly awaiting baby news from her as well as niff!

lildottie · 14/01/2016 20:09

Woo go niff!!

honey not everyone else on match, mine needs to stay put until at least late may thanks very much!

sock we can be scanxiety buddies, my 20wk scan is also on 26th. Seeing that little heart beating is incredible though. It's just like a baked beans with a HB!

5hell · 14/01/2016 21:01

yay! welcome Sock

well as there's no exciting niff news, I'll 'entertain' you with good news from my mw appointment this afternoon.... new mw is lovely, seemed much more organised and 'with it'. she also said nice things like "you seem taller than 5'2'' and "you look too glamorous to be a scientist" (admittedly this is a bit of an odd one as i am a scientist and not at all glamorous, but i'll take it). she also had a lovely student mw with her she was training. Chubs' HB was great, he is currently head down bum top right, my bp is fine, urine fine, bump measuring bang on 29w, but iron a bit low so must eat more red meat. AND she was pretty much on time, which as i was the last appointment of the day is doubly impressive! happy days!

ThursdayLastWeek · 14/01/2016 21:43

She sounds like a keeper 5hell! My friend (at a different surgery to me, thank goodness) waited for an HOUR with her 2&1yo's for her 16 week appt. that's pretty shoddy IMO.

Bad news chez Thurs. I think we just got struck by lightning - doc now terrified and firestick blown out I think. We were nearly finished watching an ep of the man in the high castle waaaaaaaaaaaaah.
