Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 43rd grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 42nd grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 56th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates. (Except it's not because I don't know how to link to the stats sheet!)

'Mother fucking Labour Unit' Ahahahahaaa!! That's brilliant! Grin

Fruit, you go wherever makes you happy.

Thurs have you checked to see if your roof is on fire?! Helpful

Niff I hope microniff is here soon. I am SO excited that you are going to get to meet your baby!!!!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 14/01/2016 21:56

Holy crap Thursday!

5hell you do look glam. And you are so tidy looking in your bump photos. I have gained an extra 1/2 stone above my goal already and Cadbury Creme Egg season has begun. Let's just say I am going to need a personal trainer after this baby is born because the ship has sailed on me not gaining too much weight and eating reasonably...

pretz glad to hear you a bit more positive.

And for those who choose the hospital option I hear ya. I care not a jot for the trappings of the fancy birthing centres. I want my baby out and I want her safe and if something goes wrong I want ALL THE STUFF within spitting distance of us. The only reason I favour a vaginal birth is I don't fancy spending several weeks laid up healing from an elective section as we have 2 children already and I run a business that I will still need to look in on... but you can bet your bottom dollar I will be having all the pain relief I can get as it bloody smarts pushing a baby out.

ThursdayLastWeek · 14/01/2016 21:58

Yeah I think so!
It was so random, we just heard the wind pick up, a bit of rain against the window then suddenly it went dark. The lights came back on and almost instantly there was a massive roll of thunder. Shock

I'm mostly annoyed because me and that firestick had PLANS

Eek Thurs! A house a few down from us got struck a few years ago. It was so bloody loud dh checked our house as it sounded like something had happened in our loft. Twas middle of the night and I was petrified!

5hell that is impressive re mw. Mine has been an hour late twice and last appt was 15 mins late. Hoping she continues to improve!

pretzelpieces · 14/01/2016 23:19

Crikey Thursday how scary for you!

5hell hooray for good news/on time midwives! Do consider iron supplements anyway - my iron continued to drop even on spatone and I put off taking the tablets for too long. Felt ill for longer than I needed to and now I'm on them they are fine, I'm not having bad side effects at all. Wish I'd taken them sooner.

fruit don't know how I let your motherfucking labour unit comment pass without mention but it made me guffaw! I could've gone there and had good hospital services right next door - it is just two doors along from where I'll be anyway. I totally want to be close to medical help!

5hell · 15/01/2016 06:29

Aah thanks sky - you are the glammest though, we've seen you in that sexy grey dress! ...I bloody love creme eggs too!

Thanks for the iron tip pretz , I'll admit I am a bit resistant to supplements etc probably completely unnecessarily! I shall use it as an excuse to have extra black pudding at breakfast today Grin

honeysucklejasmine · 15/01/2016 07:24

Morning!

Black pudding? Yucky! Although not as bad as my Dads preferred lavabread. Which is a gloppy pile of seaweed purée, essentially. Revolting. The welsh are weird.

Going to chase up solicitors today. Supposed to be remortgaging... It's been MONTHS. My mum made me paranoid that our agreed deal may "expire" because of the solicitors taking so long. Thanks for the anxiety, mum. Hmm

Niff thinking of you and shaking pom poms still!

CountryGal4 · 15/01/2016 07:33

Deals normally last 6 months so you should be ok honey.

fruitlovingmonkey · 15/01/2016 08:26

Eek Thurs your poor dog! A tree across the street from me got struck once and it buggered our wifi router.
Yay for a lovely midwife Shell, she sounds brilliant. I always imagined you were tall, maybe you have a tall personality.
I'm very stubborn and I'm not going to change my mind about the hospital, just sick of hearing about it. If I wanted a luxury room and great food I'd go to a bloody hotel not push a baby out of my fanjo!
Wow Honey I didn't realise what a massive baby boom we have coming up, it's going to be quiet around here after March.

ThursdayLastWeek · 15/01/2016 08:30

mmmm I could so sat a massive fry up right now.
Morning.

All seems fine in our little village, though we had some dramatic sounding hail and rain in the night. No flooding.

Baby doing washing machine rolls in my belly.

The MLUs in Cornwall are both a good 30/40 mins from the the hospital, so having a MLU birth down here is a matter of faith. My attitude is the same as skys - I'd like to be a lift ride away from the obstetrician, not an ambulance! Luckily we're not all the same though eh?!

Preggo Pilates later, then I need to do what is probably going to be a scarily expensive supermarket shop. We always seem to run out if everything all at once Confused

Hope you're ok over there niff Thanks

Country its been almost 6 months! Best get on the phone ASAP!

honeysucklejasmine · 15/01/2016 09:16

Ok, phoned bank. Although we started in August they sent offer letter in October so have until April. Thank fuuuuuuck!

Still going to pester solicitors to get it done though.

ThursdayLastWeek · 15/01/2016 09:54

That's good to know honey though April will soon be here!

My boobs have had another growth spurt I think. And my nipples are super dark now too.

OP posts:
honeysucklejasmine · 15/01/2016 09:57

Shush Thursday. April means I will have a baby and that's scary.

ThursdayLastWeek · 15/01/2016 10:02

I know that feeling exactly

Plus side: got my confirmation of Mat Allowance today. It night not be much but it's not much less than what I earn anyway so quite pleased really!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 15/01/2016 10:10

honey I got mine through but it is the minimum until April? I rang Mat Allowance and they said HMRC would be in touch but they haven't been. Should I chase?

pretzelpieces · 15/01/2016 10:35

Hooray for mat allowance, firesticks that work (I don't know what that is!) and black pudding for brekkie!

Very snuffly today. Why is so much blood coming out of my nose?! Low down period aches and I'm hoping they mean mini pretzel is burrowing down towards fanjo town. Weird bone clicking in and out in my lower back when I walk. Colostrum harvesting bloody frustrating - getting beading and its not enough to collect even with a stringe. Boo! Ordered a new bobble hat cause dp still hasn't phoned his family to see if I left my fave hat there at Christmas. Shopping is the answer.

Hope all is going well for niff, I'm assuming her silence means exciting things!!

jellypi3 · 15/01/2016 10:55

Pom poms out for niff! Not sure what the time difference is for her?

honeysucklejasmine · 15/01/2016 11:03

Sky I just get £138 or whatever it is aa week. Until Oct, which is great by me. Does yours work differently due to your company? I'm a sole trader so no complications.

honeysucklejasmine · 15/01/2016 11:04

I think Niff is about 7/8 hours ahead?

Hobbit19 · 15/01/2016 11:31

Oof Pretzel, sounds like you are getting pretty uncomfortable. Gx it is all a sign that baby is on the way. Have you tried expressing after a hot bath/shower?

I really want a full English now...

5hell · 15/01/2016 11:49

glad i've inspired you all ;) ...had a bacon sandwich with added hash browns and black pudding - YUM!

pretz it is definitely hat weather!! ...v chilly out there today! sorry abou the bloody nose :(

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 15/01/2016 12:10

honey I am a sole trader too and mine is £27 a week for 14 weeks... but apparently they will back pay the balance? Le sigh.

En route to triage. Having some pelvic and rub pains and tightenings and alternating between starving and feeling sick. Baby is merry as ever though Hmm
