Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 43rd grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 42nd grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 56th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates. (Except it's not because I don't know how to link to the stats sheet!)

Wake up #3.

Have an emergency eyebrow wax today. Baby shower this afternoon and I look like a yeti.

ThursdayLastWeek · 16/01/2016 07:55

Oh enjoy honey!

I had a dreadful nights sleep, awake from 3-5, and lots of funky dreams which ,ages me think I wasn't getting quality sleep the rest of the time.

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 16/01/2016 08:01

I had the weirdest dreams. DP and I moved into my childhood home where my mum was also living and then DSD and her mum moved in too! Oh and then a UKIP support pack came in the post, for me! ShockConfusedSadAngry

Moss cake update...Wink
moss cake = essentially carrot cake with spinach instead of carrot, and test cakes show it tastes better than you'd think. Aesthetically a bit odd and aromatically challenging, but still good enough to take to friends (and new baby!!!!!) this afternoon once filled & decorated.

5hell · 16/01/2016 08:09

Your baby shower honey? Have fun!!!

jellypi3 · 16/01/2016 08:13

That sounds interesting 5hell!

thurs I'm hoping she makes an appearance soon but I bet she decides to stay put...

honey mine is tomorrow! It was meant to be in December but got pushed back so now I'm being threatened not to go into labour until after tomorrow lol! I so should have accepted that sweep!

Hope everyone's got a good weekend planned?

ThursdayLastWeek · 16/01/2016 08:41

Can someone reassure me that it's ok not to go to parkrun when you've got a cold and are 32 weeks pregnant?
It's a beautiful day, and I wouldn't have run but it's my local ones birthday and I feel bad because I didn't go last week either!

OP posts:
honeysucklejasmine · 16/01/2016 08:51

Thursday its been OK not to go since you got your BFP. Now sit down and eat some chocolate.

5hell yep. Bit scared. Hope people haven't gone too overboard. Confused

Jelly do you know what you're doing?

ThursdayLastWeek · 16/01/2016 09:06

Thank you honey Grin

I hope you all get lots of cake! I also hope you get to do yours jelly without actually going into labour!

jellypi3 · 16/01/2016 09:10

Haha i was going to say the same as honey, it's fine not to go, you're growing a freaking baby!! Chill out, put your feet up :)

honey all i know is there are games and cakes, and my nan has invited about 30 people Confused. I'm really not one for being the center of attention at parties so I think i'm gonna hate being surrounded by people staring at my fat bump and telling me how big/small/hairy/cute/ugly this baby is going to be. Still i know my nan and my friends who have organised it are excited so i'll grin and bear it for them!

Hobbit19 · 16/01/2016 09:12

Thursday, sit the fuck down and eat cake for breakfast you mentalist! Grin

(Definitely not jealous that you have managed to keep running!)

ThursdayLastWeek · 16/01/2016 09:15

I knew I'd asked the right question in the right place Grin
Excellent advice viroids, I'd be a fool not to take it.

Don't know how easy I'll be able to take it, what with DS and all.
Absolutely loving my preggo Pilates sessions instead of running - mostly because I have a massive lady crush on my instructor.

How are you feeling pud?

Apparently both DH and I were awake in the night (in separate beds) letting the realities of having a baby again dawn on us...

Have good baby showers honey and jelly! What are you doing for yours honey?

Ooh jelly not one has popped from my nct group yet. I think a couple will go before me though.

How're you doing gouda?!

Thursday of course, relax, stay at home, run around after your toddler Grin PS hooray for lady crushes!

Good to see you pud

Hobbit19 · 16/01/2016 10:23

Feeling okay thanks Thursday, tired but not exhausted and have made good roads in recovery from birthage. Seeing the physio soon so can start discussing a training plan etc from 6 weeks - excited to get back to being me! Loving being a Mum to little P, she is the cutest and getting more responsive each day which is lush!

jellypi3 · 16/01/2016 10:32

Our latest lady to pop had twins, sounded like an epic labour! There's 5 of us left to go!

honeysucklejasmine · 16/01/2016 10:33

No idea Pretzel my friend has organised it. It's at my mum's house (she lives in the town where majority of friends live, rather than my little village on outskirts) and will involve games. Prob a sweepstake on due date too, with birth weight guesses too. they better be less than 8lbs

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 16/01/2016 10:45

DD refused to go to tap this morning with DP and I have just burst into tears at the thought of having to take her to theatre classes today as it involves a 20 minute walk there and back each way. This does not bode well for the rest of my pregnancy... I am only 30+5! But this bump/baby are really just large and I am so tired! I still have at least another 3 crazy weeks of work too. Ahhhhhhhhh! What amI going to do?! wails

ThursdayLastWeek · 16/01/2016 11:21

Oh sky Sad

I just went out to walk the dog with DH & DS to count as our day's activity. In theory I'm not doing anything else today, but in practise DS will run me ragged I'm sure.

Seriously. I'm getting bored of hearing myself say 'do you need a piddle?' 'Dint forget you're wearing pants, not a nappy' 'do you need a piddle?' Etc etc etc

Have arranged for DDs dad to take her every Saturday for the forseeable future so I can get some rest and hopefully that will help. Have also cancelled all nonessential plans and projects over the coming weeks. Mat leave here I come! I will have to half and half it for awhile but I should be able to mostly be wrapped up in 3 weeks.

honeysucklejasmine · 16/01/2016 11:58

Sounds sensible Sky!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 16/01/2016 12:11

Thanks honey now I just need to continue to remind myself I am not a massive failure as a mum and businesswoman because I can't manage everything whilst as big as the Hindenburg.

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 16/01/2016 12:26

PS 5hell what kinds of filling/frosting are going on the moss cake? Am intruigued.

KeepTheHope · 16/01/2016 12:30

Sky you are definitely not a failure, don't even think about thinking that.

Honey and jelly enjoy your baby showers this weekend!

DH is changing the light fittings in our hall. It's been half an hour and we're still in the first one. There are four. There is lots of swearing, a screw somehow jammed into a ceiling rose that won't come back out and crumbling plaster from the ceiling everywhere. It's not fun.

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 16/01/2016 12:59

keep are you in NE London? If so we have a a fabulous handyman I can give you his number! DIY and pregnancy don't mix... even I, with my SuperWoman complex, knows that!

KeepTheHope · 16/01/2016 13:01

Sadly not or I would take you up on that sky! He's almost finished number two and I've managed to convince him to leave the others until tomorrow!
