Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 43rd grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 42nd grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 56th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates. (Except it's not because I don't know how to link to the stats sheet!)

I guess there's no predicting any of this stuff. I'm going to have to get more comfy with uncertainty!

lil that's great news, and a really cute comment from your dh.

Hobbit19 · 09/01/2016 13:52

Pretz can you take an eye mask into hospital for early labour? Pop that on and your headphones in and go into your own little world? I wasn't on ante natal but on postnatal we all had curtains around our beds anyway so it was fairly private.

Actually the eye mask is a good idea for everyone as you can't turn the lights all the way off in your bay on post natal which is really annoying when you want to sleep!

ThursdayLastWeek · 09/01/2016 14:05

OK viroids I'm on the ante natal ward now myself. Mini Thurs movements or lack of making me worried. Waiting to be seen.

Its super quiet!

Good luck Thurs hope all OK x

ThursdayLastWeek · 09/01/2016 14:44

Everything ok by all accounts. Felt much stronger movements whilst I've been lying here so thank goodness.

So I saw the doctor earlier and apparently I was 2cm dilated. It seems my constipation pains might have been contractions.... She had a pretty vigorous rummage down there. Now I'm having contractions about 7 mins apart. So I might be having a baby. Or I might not. Will keep y'all posted. Well, if it comes to nothing I will. If I go silent, you know why... Could be exciting times!

lildottie · 09/01/2016 14:50

Seeeeeee niff gx

pretzelpieces · 09/01/2016 15:08

niff how exciting!! Pompoms!

Thursday so glad to hear mini thurs has perked up, what a relief.

lil ohh yes, eye mask, ear plug and headphones are either packed already or on the list!

pretzelpieces · 09/01/2016 15:08

Whoops - pud, not lil! Grin

ThursdayLastWeek · 09/01/2016 15:20

Good luck Niff!

Oh and thank all, feel much better now.
Didn't enjoy being in that hospital much - why are they so damn hot and airless?

fruitlovingmonkey · 09/01/2016 15:30

Go Niff gx for a sneeze birth!
Glad all is ok Thursday, at least you got some reassurance.
Hopefully it won't be anywhere near as bad as you've imagined Pretz.

Nefertitts · 09/01/2016 15:50

Meh, they seem to have tapered off again. Oh well. Off to bed now, gx for tomorrow! Gouda has been very quiet...

lildottie · 09/01/2016 15:51

Missed your post Thurs on the excitement of niff getting contractions! Glad all seems to be OK in there x

lildottie · 09/01/2016 15:53

Hope you get plenty of sleep nuff, think you're going to need it!

Can't take the credit from pud pretzel but I do like a good eye mask. I can't sleep with a single led shining so a ward would be gell to me!

jellypi3 · 09/01/2016 16:54

Eek good luck niff! Are you getting tightening or just pain?

Glad to hear all ok thurs

honeysucklejasmine · 09/01/2016 17:42

Ooh Niff, gx they pick up again!

Thursday really glad all is well. Smile

goodnessgraciousgoudaoriginal · 09/01/2016 18:24

Niff - OoOoOoooO that's very exciting!!! At least you know you are a bit dilated! Things are moving in the right direction!!! Fingers crossed that things start picking up again...

On this side not much has been happening. Sex doesn't seem to have had any effect. Pregnancy long constipation seems to have cleared up, which is AMAZING, and I'm having braxton hicks contractions (I assume - mild back pain and a painless tightening bump) but that's it.

Thursday - I've never understood the hot airless thing about hospitals either. Surely it provides a perfect breeding ground for all the germs?! I would have thought cool and well airy would be the way forwards....Glad that everything turned out okay with the movements.

CarrotPuff · 09/01/2016 18:32

How exciting Niff, get some sleep and hopefully they'll pick up in the morning!

Gouda I've never had back pain with BH, maybe they are very weak contractions? Gx something starts for you soon too!

Glad to hear all ok with baby Thurs! They really like to worry us, don't they...

Sorry forgot who said what. Glad my list is being used!

My pelvis hates me, I've got another bout of fucking thrush and baby is trying to break out. So basically nothing changed here!

We took our Christmas tree down today, feels like a major accomplishment. As we were taking off everything Christmassy, I ate the last mince pie too. Dirty job but someone had to do it.

ThursdayLastWeek · 09/01/2016 18:37

Thanks all. The movements still aren't quite what I've become accustomed to, but maybe this is the new normal.

Gouda and Niff that all sound like movements in the right direction to me. Huzzah for nearly UK due date at least Gouda.
Really really get as much rest as possible both of you.

Well done for taking the mince pie bullet carrot. What a team player you are. I'm sorry for all your groin area troubles, sounds awful.

Woooooo hooooooo! niff and gouda! Come on babies... Let's see some action. Anyone here the betting type? My money is on jelly sneaking into first place while noone's looking Grin

Majorly productive day today. Took out 3 boxes of recycling. Got rid of a suitcase of charity shop donations, packed another to drop off tomorrow. Organised the girls old clothes, put a load on of clothes that have dye runs with the special dye run remover stuff. Annnnd (drumroll please) I started packing my hospital bag! I even got some disposable pants at asda, not realising there aren't pads in them... So gota go back. My January Birchbox came today. It is full of stuff perfect for the hospital bag like Parlour shampoo and conditioner, Absolution facewash, Caudalie shower gel and a cute wash bag. Last month there was a sample of Embryolisse face cream and Rituals shower gel so that's gone in as well. I really reccomend getting a subscription for those who like expensive goodies but are on a budget.

Now that DD is in bed I might do an inventory of what we have for baby already and then see what's left to get. Exciting! Star

In other news, I think my oron levels might have stabilized... I feel so much perkier. I will probably be exhausted tomorrow now, ha ha!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 09/01/2016 20:16

Iron not oron! Hmm

Discofairypants · 09/01/2016 20:47

Eeee niff and gouda I hope you aren't waiting too long!!

Feeling really short of breath and tired .... Sign of iron issues? Had iron tablets with dd, but can't remember feeling ropey, so expecting same again!

honeysucklejasmine · 09/01/2016 20:48

Lol Sky, you have been busy!

5hell · 09/01/2016 21:01

glad you got the all clear thurs

sounds like a few viroids might be about to get things moving Grin ...gx gx!

flu-jab-gate continues here Hmm went to Boots for third attempt at flu jab, having booked online earlier in the week...and surprise surprise they're not doing them today, or in fact anytime at my local boots as the pharmacist hasn't had all her jabs (?!?!!?) I think I give up!!...I may attempt to get one at the gp, but it just doesn't seem meant to be!

in better news, I've sorted lots of our donated baby stuff (lots of 0-3 clothes, toys, weaning stuff, cloth nappies, towels, bibs etc etc!) so like sky need to inventory and list what else we need; I cleared out the greenhouse; and my tokidoki all seasons arrived Grin (we now inadvertently have 4 slings, which is probably too many, but 3 were free, so could be worse)

worn out from all the activity now
