Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 43rd grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 42nd grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 56th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates. (Except it's not because I don't know how to link to the stats sheet!)

I'm 12 weeks next week, and haven't yet had a letter from the hospital/midwife... a friend says that our Trust are notoriously shit at getting stuff done on time.

If I haven't got a letter tomorrow, I'm going to give the MW a call. I'm also waiting for a consultant letter, but I'm assuming that is in the same place as the scan letter!

5hell · 05/01/2016 17:40

that's not good mer! stomp your feet (politely) and get an appointment - i think in some areas resources are so stretched they almost rely on people nagging/prodding to ensure the most pressing things get done. not ideal, but an unfortunate side effect of an over-worked NHS probably.

back to yoga tonight - hooray! ...not yet sure how much i'll still be able to do, but I'll give it a go Grin

Ah kate I have a semi private session with my old mat instructor on Friday, at lunchtime. It's just me and a fellow preggo using her studio equipment I'm VAIR excited having only done mat stuff before!

You don't live in Cornwall do you Mermaid? Our trust is also pants for communication. You have my sympathies.

Evening all

jelly tax return deadline end if month do yeah work related.

Yay for scan pee. My dh was emotional at 8wk scan. Then all "I told you if would be fine" at 12wk scan and 16wk mw appt when we heard HB.

I still think I'm making it up and am just fat though!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 05/01/2016 20:20

Evening lil you are looking fabulous Flowers

Mermaid36 · 05/01/2016 20:32

Thursday nope, not Cornwall (though I'd quite happily live there!)....I'm all the way north in Lancashire....seems that lack of communication is a common problem.

I thought the whole process would be easier if they just gave you the details to ring up and book your own scan appointment, rather than waiting for a letter etc...

FeatheredTail · 05/01/2016 21:01

Mer call up the hospital and ask whether you've been booked for a scan. I never got a letter! - if I hadn't phoned, I would never have known!

Jelly I have some pics of my FRER on my old phone too :) I remember posting the picture of to the undergrads thread at like 2am in the morning as had been at a (signal-less) wedding all day!

lildottie · 05/01/2016 22:35

Thanks sky

lildottie · 05/01/2016 22:47

Weird how you all had active babies at scan. Mine just lat there. Another reason to think it's a boy. #lazy

honeysucklejasmine · 05/01/2016 22:55

Mine stays still in scans too Lil. So still they had to scan me again to see it move!

Antenatal class was OK but I didn't learn anything new yet about labour. But we had a great chat about logistics and facilities at the hospital. ( car parking, refreshments, etc) and DH said it was useful. He also said childbirth sounds "really fun" whilst smirking. Angry sod! Grin

lildottie · 05/01/2016 22:58

Did u punch him honey? Glad it was useful

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 05/01/2016 22:58

I had a scan where she slept the whole time too lil

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 05/01/2016 23:09

Hey honey I think we won that baby shower thread! not planning to look for the other one Grin

pretzelpieces · 05/01/2016 23:19

I'd have slapped him honey Grin

Urgh I've eaten a big kebab and now I feel sick. #worthit

pretzelpieces · 06/01/2016 07:10

Well I don't feel sick any more! Slept (well, laid awake ruminating) on my wedge pillow for anti kebab special powers and it worked wonderfully.

Feeling weirdly emotional this morning. Like the way I used to feel on Christmas mornings, all cold and tingly and happy-sad. I'm guessing it's just the sleep deprivation

honeysucklejasmine · 06/01/2016 07:55

I gave him a "teacher look". Which he has learned to mimic very well

Kebab sounds nice Pretzel. I have only eaten one in my entire life. It was OK. Perhaps I need to have another to truly appreciate a good quality kebab, as people make them sound good.

Sky hell yeah we did!

lildottie · 06/01/2016 08:13

Morning viroids. First night with dream genii and im not convinced.

jellypi3 · 06/01/2016 08:22

Morning!

honey LTB or ask him to rip his arsehole to shreds pushing a watermelon out!

lil I wasn't impressed with the dream genii and ditched it after about 25 weeks. HOWEVER I got it.put recently to try and see if it could help me get any semblance of sleep and amazingly I've been sleeping much better (still waking up loads but getting back off to sleep better) So it's been better for me in late pregnancy.

I'm really on edge after the heart beat episode yesterday. I know if there was a problem they'd have kept me in but I just don't get why baby's heartbeat was so high. It's making me anxious and I'm not an anxious person. Someone give me a hooyah please!

lildottie · 06/01/2016 08:25

Sending you a gentle hooyah jelly. What exactly did they say about it?

pretzelpieces · 06/01/2016 08:27

jelly no hooyah just sympathy. It must have been stressful.

honey I only had my first one last year and I love them. It's one of the few food treats I can still have relatively unimpaired (I just have a tiny piece of pitta and a few chips, it's mostly meat, garlic sauce and salad).

goodnessgraciousgoudaoriginal · 06/01/2016 08:28

lil I tried a friend's dream genii (or exactly the same thing with a different brand name), and found it totally bizarre. It was especially annoying how you couldn't change sides without having to heave the whole bloody pillow around. She swore by it though. Could it be a question of getting used to it maybe?

ThursdayLastWeek · 06/01/2016 08:33

Another gentle hooyah jelly. They're not fully developed things yet, I'm sure their little bodies are still experimenting and getting things wrong in there.

DS had an arrhythmic HB at approx 28 weeks which gave me the willies - I had to go back two days later to check it again which felt like forever! But it was totally fine, and they couldn't really provide an explanation. Just one of those annoying baby things.

I hope you're ok Thanks

OP posts:
5hell · 06/01/2016 09:32

jelly think i missed the HB thing, but if you've been in and been well checked over and they are not concerned then neither should you be (easier said than done) ....can you text/call your mw for a bit of reassurance?

went back to yoga last night - was excellent as usual, and he gave us a fairly gentle class to start so I could do almost everything Grin

today I have blood tests and anti-D ...anyone else had the antiD? is it arm/arse? should i expect it to be sore after?

lil i think pg pillows can be a bit hit/miss and i only like mine some nights, others i just have an extra regular pillow. i guess it all depends on where your aches are, how you normally sleep etc etc. i'd give it another chance in a few nights perhaps (if you need it). i do LOVE mine for sitting reading in bed though!

jellypi3 · 06/01/2016 10:22

Thanks ladies. I know it's silly to be concerned, my rational brain is saying they said it's fine but my brain pixies are questioning everything.

lil basically they said they think she was having such a strong period of activity it made her heart rate sky rocket to the point it was tachycardic. Ive got to go back for monitoring next week so they were clearly happy with it going down but I now keep making sure she's still moving and prodding my belly.

I need to just focus on how close I am to the end!

gouda I just gave up with the back brace part of the dream genii so it's easier to swap sides and instead cuddle the back part now lol.

I love chicken kebabs. The real lumps of chicken. If you don't eat the red cabbage or pitta they are free on slimming world too!! :) :)

Sorry for the downer viroids, love you ladies.
