Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 43rd grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 42nd grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 56th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates. (Except it's not because I don't know how to link to the stats sheet!)

Argh viroids I'm rubbish at keeping up with the thread these days! My internet access here is pretty limited and FB is just so much quicker and more reliable to load - I get error messages from mumsnet half the time Angry

Molly so glad to hear you're getting lots of help, you absolutely need it!** Anyone would need help after a CS with one already to look after, never mind someone who's had as much to deal with as you lately. Stress takes it out of you both physically and mentally. And I bet your parents are just really glad they can help you at a time like this, they love you and their GCs. Really really glad your birth went well though and glad you're up and about a bit again. But don't rush it, like others have said! Better to take time to recover now than overdo it and end up hurting yourself.

Gouda it definitely sounds like you're going to beat me to the delivery room! Those cramps sound like you're warming up for the big event, gx it happens soon and swiftly. Are you still feeling restless/irritable or has that passed? I think it's often a sign something's about to happen.

Kate your friend's OH sounds awful. I'm not sure I could bite my tongue if I had to hang out with someone like that, although I understand you want to for her sake. Can you arrange to just see her on her own rather than doing joint things? I have nothing against people shitting in my bathroom, but to pull a face at 'disgusting women's things' and then be so deliberately offensive is just pig-ignorant!

Jelly official mat leave woohoo! Looking forward to some house porn from JellyTowers once your bathroom is done. I've been suffering swamp-foof-mageddon the last few weeks and keep wondering if it's the plug gradually soling away. It did turn out I had a mild thrush infection and I wondered if that was the cause. But it's not stopped it. I think it might just be late pregnancy, I think your body just goes into hyperactive mode flushing everything out.

Pretz gx your scan on Thursday (? Total baby brain) puts your mind at rest. Whichever way it goes, you'll know what to expect and be able to start getting your head around it which should be helpful. Also slightly terrifying as it will mean a baby is imminent, but I guess we've all had 9 months to warm up to that. It's the only way I can explain my lack of panic every time I look at my belly, at any rate Hmm.

THERE IS NOTHING TO SEE HERE. Definitely no baby on the way out any time soon. I went in for monitoring on Sunday evening as microniff had been suspiciously quiet all day. I'm being a bit extra-vigilant as I have a very knotted umbilical cord so it slightly ups the risk that as she moves down blood flow is restricted if it pulls tight (though this wouldn't have been picked up in the uk - it doesn't make me wonder why we don't routinely do 3rd tri ultrasounds). Anyway, she was fine, didn't like the monitor much, normal pokiness has resumed. They picked up faint contractions every 10 minutes but are decidedly unexcited about it. Ho hum in for the wait. She's still tiny - about 20th percentile - so I guess the longer she hangs around getting fat the better maybe? Also had acupressure massage this afternoon with lots of womb-stimulating manoeuvres so let's see if that has any effect...

Flowers to Kate, Pee and Jelly. Being poorly sucks! I have a sinus thing too and just want to sleep but DD has inset day.

Pretz completely understand where you are coming from. This baby prefers being transverse and is a junior tumbler. I am starting to wish for a section myself. Especially since a look at DDs baby book reveals she was 56cm and 8.5lbs... DPs mum also helpfully mentioned his unusually large head at birth the other day Envy Fabulous.

Nefertitts · 04/01/2016 15:47

Ooh sorry that post was a bit unintentionally shouty of me! Clearly got a bit confused with the bold button...

And pee gx for your scan tomorrow!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 04/01/2016 15:56

niff it could happen for you at any time! You never know!

5hell · 04/01/2016 15:57

ooh just checked stats...how are you 3rd already Jelly?! ...explains the possible plug action at least Grin. also, whilst I'm down in 15th i now dont need to scroll to see my name, which is in itself slightly scary!
not to mention niff being up next! ;)

in other news, I've had 3 poos already today! ...wtf?!?!

ThursdayLastWeek · 04/01/2016 16:05

niff you never know!
I can't remember what the stats say? When are you due?

Any word from gouda?

I'm having major toddler overload today. Mental soft play and then DS has not. Shut. Up. Since we got home! Anyone wanna borrow him for some practise for the future??

OP posts:
Nefertitts · 04/01/2016 16:27

I'm due Friday Thursday but have always assumed she will be late - like mother like daughter. Also I conceived straight after a mc so I think my cycle was slightly out anyway and I was totally jsing and not temping and pissing on sticks or anything like that and I therefore do not know at all exactly which shag got me knocked up to the millisecond no no no.

ThursdayLastWeek · 04/01/2016 16:28

Grin no no no of course not, the very thought of it, shocking behaviour that would be...

OP posts:
jellypi3 · 04/01/2016 16:33

niff could that be why she's small, if your dates are out? or do you deffo know the date of conception because despite all of my naughty contraband i'm fucked if i can remember the actual date

5hell i have no idea how i'm 3rd?? pret will probably go before me, because she's either going to have a CS or be induced early but it still scares me how "advanced" i am in this pregnancy. Not sure if i am ready to give up my bump just yet, how weird is that??

thurs i think gouda posted a short while back saying no baby but feels like it's ramping up.

pretzelpieces · 04/01/2016 16:35

Ooh niff (nef?) secret regular contractions sound exciting! It's weird that they don't check for knotty umbilical cords here. I'm always baffled (but sort of reassured?) by how much antenatal services vary country to country (or even by county).

Who was it that's done three poos. Bit jealous, mine are few and far between but I am chugging the iron pills so it's to be expected.

pretzelpieces · 04/01/2016 16:37

Shush jelly, I wouldn't dream of skipping the queue! Confused scared

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 04/01/2016 17:05

Can I please skip the queue? If only this baby was fully cooked... #overit

honeysucklejasmine · 04/01/2016 17:25

I will skip the queue. But not all the way, just jump up a few weeks.

I did my Brownies accounts today. And they balance! Wooo! That's always exciting when it happens. Passed them over to another lady today as I am now on mat leave from Guiding. Hopefully she keeps accurate records! I explained the system I wanted her to follow so should be fine. I will prob ask for cash and receipts every few weeks so I can keep on top of them.

Also found my April 14 payslip so can finish my tax return tomorrow. Yay. Hmm but, should get money back so good news!

My next job is to sort the dining room table and breakfast bar (dumping grounds) so it's clear. And pop lights up in the nursery.

Shit. Am I nesting?! Fuuuck!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 04/01/2016 17:44

Ohhh honey I am desperate to nest! I have another month or so of busy time at work before I can properly get the house sorted... My plan is always to chip away at it on the weekends but I am always too shattered when the time comes...

pretzelpieces · 04/01/2016 18:13

I'm totally nesting. And e-nesting if that's a thing? Sent messages to DP's family about when he's off work so they can plan when to visit after baby (hint: not when she's less than two weeks old!) and signed up for the baby photo sharing website/app someone recommended on the fb group. Also cleared out my email inbox.

Took the Christmas decs down today. Ahhh. Relief.

I am kind of desperate to have this baby now so possibly skip the queue but a lot of that is down to wanting to eat cake again asap.

ThursdayLastWeek · 04/01/2016 18:17

I have started semi-nesting.
All the old baby clothes are sorted and organised. ds room is as close to organised as it can be.
I've done a lot of sorting and chucking.
DH is doing his own version of DIY nesting so that home and business can be separated.

OP posts:
ThursdayLastWeek · 04/01/2016 18:19

But I LOVE tidying and sorting. It's basically one of my favourite things to do.

OP posts:
jellypi3 · 04/01/2016 18:39

I've had a massive nesting session recently and almost finished the nursery. Repacked my hospital bag today.

One of my nct group had their baby!! Shit's getting real!

CarrotPuff · 04/01/2016 19:05

I'm totally having this baby at bang on 37 weeks.

Sky this is what I always plan - tidy up all cupboards, etc bit by bit every weekend. Of course it never happens. We are going to Ikea this weekend though to get a chest of drawers for baby stuff so I'll start washing and organising everything after that!

For some reason I've had an urge to pack my hospital bag for a few weeks now... Hmm Although I don't have half the stuff for it. Maybe I should just do it while I've got the desire!

Niff secret contractions sound v exciting! Not everyone's labour starts days in advance, I had no idea I would go into labour any time soon the day it started!

Gouda I hope your twinges develop into labour soon! I've got a feeling for you Wink

honeysucklejasmine · 04/01/2016 20:05

I HATE tidying normally. And it usually takes me a week to do my accounts etc. Can't believe I am fancying tidying!

I even didn't watch the Christmas Call The Midwife episode today because it was too long and I hate stuff to do. I mean, WTF?

So I am going to make myself feel better by hot tubbing. Ha! Take that, nesting instinct!

honeysucklejasmine · 04/01/2016 20:05

*had stuff to do

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 04/01/2016 21:02

Oh no! Viroids! I have my first varicose vein! Shock I discovered it while checking out my bum in the full length after my bath... it is behind my knee. Ohmigod I am OLD weeps uncontrollably

honeysucklejasmine · 04/01/2016 21:29

Oh Sky! weeps

We went out for dinner (pizza express vouchers) and then hot tub. Bloody cold out, think we might try to get a cheap gazebo or something to act as a wind break, but it's not really the weather for gazebos... Might go mouldy or something.

Shag later.

5hell · 04/01/2016 21:37

Yippee! !!! One of my besties is just had an Ickle boybee! !!! Super quick

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 04/01/2016 21:57

Can't you get a resin or plastic gazebo that can be easily treated for mould honey? I think we may be twinnies. I had DP bring home some pizzas for our supper. I was planning on sexing him up but may have killed to mood wailing about being geriatric and making him look at my bulging vein... Grin
