Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 43rd grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 42nd grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 56th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates. (Except it's not because I don't know how to link to the stats sheet!)

I know! If people think they are grabby then they need to reevaluate who their friends are! And the use of American as an insult is soooooo common it can't be denied! Angry

honeysucklejasmine · 03/01/2016 22:04

I think Mae's friends do the same. She mmentioned it on FB once. Smile

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 03/01/2016 22:14

Yeah the American thing is really making me Angry and I am not even American! However, I sound quite American and I lived there for awhile... in my experience most Americans are lovely, warm, friendly people. The politics scare me to death and some of them sure don't travel well but they are not all bad! It is actually xenophobic the way some posters talk about Americans.

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 03/01/2016 22:48

In other news:

I am really, really horny but also extremely gassy Blush

honeysucklejasmine · 03/01/2016 22:53

It is! DH's dad was going on about US politics yesterday. He gave dh a book which is essentially the ravings of a right wing lunatic. DH told me on the way home he plans to burn it. He is a nice, generous, loving man as long as you don't get in to politics, then suddenly he becomes a bigot. Most odd.

There's a second baby shower thread in AIBU.

pretzelpieces · 03/01/2016 23:24

molly I'm so glad it was positive, you brave lady! Thank you for sharing your experience.

gouda blimey, sounds intense! Hopefully that means you don't have much longer to wait.

kate ew to that gross man. DP is a teacher and has been frantically marking. Grin

pee hope MIL is ashamed of herself. Good luck for scan tomorrow.

jelly congrats on your poo baby! (lol, predictive text knew I was going to type that!)

thurs that weight sounds just right to me.

Time has slowed right down again! Impatiently waiting for Thursday when I get my next (last?) growth scan and they say for sure if she's turned. They'll likely book my induction then for 39 weeks (or c section if she's still breech).

TriJo · 04/01/2016 01:07

Thurs I'm 29 weeks and up 9.5kg - sounds very similar really.

Kate not a jury in the land would convict you for kicking seven shades of shite out of that scumbag...

jellypi3 · 04/01/2016 02:11

Well this is just not God damn fair. Tonight I don't seem to have the need to pee every hour, but instead I'm having to sit up and blow my nose every 30 minutes because I feel like I've got a fucking orange lodged in the back of my throat. I feel sorry for dp because it's making me snore and the only way to get some minor temporary relief if to snort like a pig until it slightly dislodges. So I've given up on bed and am camping on the sofa!

And now I'm worrying it won't clear by the time the baby is here and the first thing she will know of her mummy is this great snorting pig!

#rantover

Peenut · 04/01/2016 04:50

Hello to everyone else wide awake! I share your pain jelly ... Just come down to kip/lie awake on the sofa rather than keep DH awake with my heavy breathing. This is my first cold of pregnancy, it's a delight! Nose completely bunged up but dripping like a tap at the same time!

MIL has apologised ... Said she told DHs uncle because he was 'showing off' about his grand kids. She blamed him as she swore him to secrecy never mind that she was by us. Anyway, ridiculous but at least I know never to share news with her like this again.

Off to sleep/snore like a horse

honeysucklejasmine · 04/01/2016 05:47

Pee how immature! Is she five?!

Sympathy to you and Jelly for your breathing problems.

Pretzel I reckon time has slowed too. Especially since Christmas!

5hell · 04/01/2016 06:02

I don't wanna go back to work!!! Sad Confused ...boo!

jelly/pee Hope u both got some sofa kip. ..sometimes a change of venue is a big help

ThursdayLastWeek · 04/01/2016 07:55

I did a little research into my own weight and I was not in fact 64kg (probably ever) at booking in, I was 67kg. But I had put on a bit of weight before my first appt for sure.

Anyways.

Hope you sofa sleepers got some rest - we really ought to get DS out if the nursery and settled into what will be his new room but we are v unwillingly to give up the spare room! For all the reasons mentioned above!

Boo for work 5hell Sad

What would be your favoured outcome pretz?

CarrotPuff · 04/01/2016 08:03

Brew for all poorly viroids. And some medicinal Cake

Gouda sounds like something is starting up, how exciting!

Pee your MIL needs a face slap. Gx for a good scan and cooperative baby!

Kate words escape me. What a twat!

Molly what a positive birth story, so happy for you Thanks Don't feel guilty about your parents looking after DS1, he won't even remember it!

I've put on about 13kg already... cries in the corner... I want my body back!

ThursdayLastWeek · 04/01/2016 08:11

Wont be long now carrot!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 04/01/2016 09:27

Another honey? Can't see it. Maybe that's a good thing?

jellypi3 · 04/01/2016 10:01

Thanks for the sympathy ladies. Just want to dislodge this lump in the back of my throat! :(

Question about mucus plug, the past week I've been getting lumps of thick yellowy cm when wiping, it looks semi solid (I've not prodded it yet). Could this be the plug coming away bit by bit? It's not been bloody at all.

honeysucklejasmine · 04/01/2016 10:08

Sky yeah I wouldn't bother to look for it. Full of the same bollocks. I pointed out that if their friends were throwing grabby, twatty showers, they maybe should avoid having grabby, twatty friends. Angry

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 04/01/2016 10:53

Ooooh jelly that sounds promising! Have you asked your midwife?

honey I think some people are just determined to be closeminded killjoys. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it and if people want to have parties and/or presents it really isn't a big deal!

jellypi3 · 04/01/2016 11:29

Going to mention it to her at my appointment tomorrow sky.

I've totally missed this baby shower thread, take it someone was complaining about them?

First official day of mat leave today, and very glad of it as I'm so tired from last night lol.

CarrotPuff · 04/01/2016 11:31

It could be jelly. It might not mean anything though, as it can grow back... Unless it's got blood in it.

I'm so tired... Just want to sleep!

honeysucklejasmine · 04/01/2016 11:39

Lol to your post Sky! Absolutely true!

Yeah Jelly, basically saying if you have a baby shower you are a grabby, greedy cow. And its an American import. Which is a bad thing. But then failing to listen to North Americans explain the cultural significance and reception of a shower over there, and the fact that if its been bastardised by the Brits in to some awful grabby thing, that's probably the fault of the British.

jellypi3 · 04/01/2016 11:41

Ahh that's infuriating honey. Some people are just jobs worths.

Yeah I know carrot, I assume it will grow back, I've been keeping an eye out for any blood. Not that I'd mind if baby decided to arrive early!

5hell · 04/01/2016 11:56

oh that thread sounds delightful sky/honey !...I dont really see what the problem is - if you dont like/agree with them then dont go/dont take a gift etc. I wouldn't mind having one, as seems like a lovely excuse to get friends togtehr, be a bit silly and eat cake, but dont know if I'll get around to it.

work bearable so far, but tbh have mostly spent it checking emails and catching up on the jsers fred!...oops! Blush

am read to completely give up on trying to book flu jab through boots...i appears website lets you get 99% of the way then has an error, and the times i have managed to book it they cancel it moments before it's due! Angry grrrr

KateBeckett · 04/01/2016 12:44

Ahhh see. This is why I love you viroids. Grin I now feel less guilty for my homicidal thoughts!! Dp definitely sees it too, and despairs of my friends taste in men!!

pee good luck today!! Hope you get a lovely scan pic. I'm glad mil apologied, but yes, it's a shame you now know you can't trust her with important things...

This morning was like a scene from the exorcist. After thinking my ms was winding down, I had no notice of a massive vom attack in the bathroom this morning. I was sick on the toilet seat and the wall Sad

pretzelpieces · 04/01/2016 12:55

jelly/pee why are your miroids not kipping on the couch so you can starfish on the beds?! You're the pregnant ones! Grin

jelly Oh wow sounds very pluggy, how exciting.

thursday I think I want her to be breech, which I know sounds bonkers. But I've always hated the idea of early induction and everyone I know who's had one ends up with an emcs anyway! So given the choice of 3 days in labour then an emcs or a calm, planned cs I'm leaning towards the latter! Midwife suspects she has turned though so it'll probably be induction at 39 weeks for me Sad

Sorry for the vom kate Flowers
