Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 43rd grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 42nd grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 56th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates. (Except it's not because I don't know how to link to the stats sheet!)

Are your babies movements still hurting you at all honey?
And I thought you knew you were having a girl? Did I remember that wrong?

Your system sounds good, we had something similar and then eventually put all the too-small clothes in quite organised boxes in the airing cupboard. After about 12/18mo they are in them for longer and wear them out a bit more anyways.
And this time when they're done, they're outta here!

lildottie · 03/01/2016 08:53

How are you going to put dots in honey? Curious how re not washing out. Like the sound if your system, good luck with it!

Hoping to not have any more arse rain for a bit. I'm out at clients all day Monday and Tuesday!

Morning merm sorry your feeling so crap. If it helps my Pregsomnia seemed to pass from 14ish wks and still at bay now nearly 3 weeks later so hopefully some reprieve to look forward to

jellypi3 · 03/01/2016 11:12

Morning all!

Sounds like we have all had productive weekends! I finally sorted out my bedroom this morning, so it's all ready for Jelly-baby to arrive. Chicco next to me is set up next to the bed, clothes were finally unpacked (15 black sacks of clothes!!!) and bedroom moved around to a nice position. I'll finally be able to take some pictures for house porn soon (once bathroom is done next week!).

I've also sorted all baby clothes, so I feel almost ready. Just need to re-pack hospital bag as I haven't touched it since I packed it for moving 6 weeks ago.

Been getting lots of BH's the past few days, some tight enough to take my breath away. Can't believe my body is gearing up to have a baby!

Hobbit19 · 03/01/2016 15:05

Eep Jelly, so exciting!!

Niff/Gouda, how are you feeling? The 'are you in labour yet' questions start now!

MollyBloomYes · 03/01/2016 16:00

Hello everyone! Fell off fred again! Fell into a bit if a hole actually, struggling with mh. Hoping anti depressants start to kick in properly soon and that a return to routine helps. My parents are doing a stunning job with ds1 but just makes me feel more guilty that I'm not doing it. Or that their fucker of a father didn't stick around.

ANYWAY bit if positivity. Birth story! As you know after a lot of campaigning I got my ELCS and at eleventh hour they managed to find space for me at 39 weeks rather than 40 which was a huge relief as I was convinced I was going to go into labour before then.
Night before was weird knowing I would be having a baby the next day! Did allow me to have full on bath with shaved legs, wash hair etc and generally pamper self a bit in preparation. And yes I did have to shave bikini line a little off the top! Also meant I could take DS out for special treat on his last day as only child poor kid! Had to fast from midnight and no drink from 5am except sip of water to take antacid in case I needed a general. Arrived at hospital at 7 to begin very long wait!
Three women in lists for c section that day, I of course am third and watch the other two get wheeled away. By this point it's nearly lunchtime and I'm really feeling the lack of drink. Finally they come to get me and it was so weird and so exciting!
Get to operating room and sit on side of bed. Introduced to everyone and hey start to fit cannula. I'd been dreading this bit and unfortunately the trainee aneasthaist (sp?) didn't seal something off properly so blood spurred out all over pillow. Went very hot and nauseous so they cooled me down with flannels and gave me as much time as I needed to recover before trying again. Spinal was a breeze, sharp scratch for local anastethic then that was it, didn't really feel the rest go in. Then they had to manoeuvre me into back as legs go numb really quickly
Then the waiting game for spinal to take effect, kept slraying me with cold spray til I could no longer feel it. Then in they went! Someone was talking to me the whole time explaining what was going on, what I should expect in terms of sensation. Lots of tugging, at one point felt like someone sat on chest then boom, screen came down and baby blooms genitals thrust in my face so I could see what I had! Took him to be weighed, wrapped him up then straight into my chest for loads of skin to skin. As soon as I was sat up properly he latched himself on and fed all the way back up to the ward.
Absolutely incredible experience, any doubts I had about 'missing out' in the experience of vaginal birth have gone and a lot of ghosts from my first birth were laid to rest. Yes I was sore afterwards and the after pains were horrific (they're nothing to do with c section though, they're just a nice bonus of subsequent pregnancies) but take all the drugs they offer and I was shuffling about and able to go home late the next day. If been told to expect two nights in hospital but they were trying to clear people for Christmas and I was very ready to leave, some absolute nutters on the ward!
I'm now off painkillers completely and hoping to be driving soon if gp lets me. Baby bloom will be two weeks in Tuesday so pretty good recovery time! The first night at home was bloody hard and I never want to repeat it, but any of you planning a c section presumably don't have feckless abandoning cunts for husbands and will have some help Hmm

That was very very long sorry but wanted to get it all down. I couldn't be more thrilled with how my birth experience went and would love to do it all again (without the pregnancy beforehand!)

5hell · 03/01/2016 16:37

molly thanks so much for sharing that...you can really sense in your tone that it was a v positive experience - so pleased for u; you deserved some good stuff Flowers

Glad your family are helping. I think xmas/new year are often extra challenging for mh regardless of feckless husbands,so seems to me you're doing well!

FeatheredTail · 03/01/2016 16:38

Also MASSIVELY fallen off the thread, though I've been reading it every day.

Lovely to hear your birth story Molly and so glad to hear it laid your anxieties over your previous experience to rest. Do go easy on yourself - no need to feel any guilt over the help you're having from your parents. Your H should be feeling guilty, but not you!

FeatheredTail · 03/01/2016 16:39

Oooh nice looking pram 5hell! And not as terrifyingly priced as some of them!

goodnessgraciousgoudaoriginal · 03/01/2016 17:04

Hi Molly - I'm so glad that you are doing well, recovering well, and got almost exactly the sort of birth experience that you were after (the blood spurting and long wait probably didn't feature on your dream list I imagine.....). Huge congratulations! Take it easy with the driving - I thought it was more like 6 weeks? Even if you are feeling good, don't push things and risk ruining it all! End of finger wagging.

pud - woke up at 0130 with constant waves of painful contractions (my first proper ones) and was thinking "er....so this could be it then I guess, though why aren't I getting a break between the contractions?!?!?" The pain wass constant, and then I'd get "peaks" every 20 seconds or so.

I got up after about 40 minutes and everything died down very quickly, so apparently not!

It has made me pretty sure that I'll end up going into labour in the middle of the night though Grin

KateBeckett · 03/01/2016 17:51

Well, I managed to get through the visit without committing homicide, not sure how though! As they were leaving he insisted on going to the loo 'to curl one out, instead of stinking up my own big when I get home' Angry Envy fucking delight that man is!

gouda it sounds like it's not going to be long!! Exciting!

Molly glad the birth was so positive Smile I hope the recovery is going well! Don't feel bad for ds1, he is probably loving the attention from his gp's!

pee it's your scan tomorrow right?? Let me know if you get the grumpy sonographer! Grin

Have spent literally all day working, and I'm still not ready for school to start tomorrow Sad this is what happens when you don't do any of your work in the holidays... I have only myself to blame!!

ThursdayLastWeek · 03/01/2016 17:54

Oh molly I'm so happy your experience was good, and I'm still so angry at your useless abandoning cunt if a husband, so I can't imagine how you must be feeling. I'm sure baby bloom is thriving though. Smile

My running friends have a saying ~ the longer the recovery, the more bullet proof it is. I'll echo gouda in saying take a little time.

Sounds like things are gearing up for you gouda!

OP posts:
Hobbit19 · 03/01/2016 18:17

Well done Molly, your birth sounds fabulous and I'm glad you are recovering well. Your MH could partly be to do with your recovery too, hormones etc so be nice to yourself!

Gouda that is so exciting! The day before I went in to labour I had about 3 hours of constant period pain that then stopped. The good news is that seemed to get me to 3cm. I went into labour the next morning, so it could happen for you soon!

Urgh, Kate, back to work. How long until maternity leave?

Peenut · 03/01/2016 18:44

Thanks for sharing your story Molly, so pleased it went well for you (minus the hammer horror blood spurting incident)! Like others have said, please let your Mum and Dad help you guilt free and you'll be back on your feet and thinking straight in no time I'm sure. What you've been through can only make you stronger and you will continue to be mummy extraordinarie to your little ones! Let us know how you are getting on! :)

Honey, I aspire to have a clothes organisation system the same as yours! My house is a tip (well actually it looks OK until you open a cupboard door. Don't ever do that in this house!)

Mermaid Feel your pain with pregsomnia. I woke up at 3am WIDE AWAKE and genuinely thought it must be time to get up. Hoping being knackered will let me sleep tonight.

Yes Kate scan is tomorrow afternoon ... hope the moody sonographer is on her tea break and we get a nice calm one who says reassuring things and maybe plays whale song as she scans. WAH! Just want it over with now!

I have a lovely cold to distract me from worrying ... bought some sea salt nasal spray to help me breathe – hitting the hard stuff!

MIL is laying low after we sent a text asking how the entire side of her family know before we chose to tell them!

Peenut · 03/01/2016 18:45

Gouda Eeeek! Sounds like things are hotting up in there!

jellypi3 · 03/01/2016 18:45

Wow amazing birth story molly :) glad it went well for you! Sorry about the struggles though, agree with thurs on your cunt of a husband. Take all the time you need to recover.

gouda eep not long! It's so exciting all these babies!

I've just had a collosal shyte, I swear this baby must weigh less than that. It made my entire bump go hard though, which did amuse me. I also found out post poo that there was no toilet roll so had to text dp to fetch me some. Pretty cringe

Peenut · 03/01/2016 18:46

PS Kate The guy actually told you he was doing a dump in your loo? WHAT? At least have the decency to poo in secret then slope off. I expect you might be busy/washing your hair/out of the country on important business if they ask to stay again!

Mermaid36 · 03/01/2016 18:58

Ooh! We are going to book tickets to the Baby & Toddler Show in Manchester in March Grin

KateBeckett · 03/01/2016 19:35

Yes pee yes he did. He also asked if I was embarrassed as my friend got up before me and busied herself by doing the washing from the meal we had cooked them the night before. Erm, no?! I'm very grateful she is doing the household chore I hate the most as a thank you for cooking!! amd breathe I could rant for hours about him, I really could... Ps try not to worry the scan will be fine I'm sure!

pud ages and ages Sad 18 working weeks in fact! I am planning to finish at the end of summer 1 half term. I'm due 3 weeks later and it's a very demanding school with a tricky class so I think I'll be done in by then!

I guess I'll have to tell people this week... It's still only my head teacher and my TA that know, but people have been asking my TA for weeks poor woman! I just don't really do big announcements!

MollyBloomYes · 03/01/2016 19:48

Kate I can't even...utterly vile man. I'm horrified! I worked in a really demanding school with my first (Sen, very high needs, lots of violence) and I was DONE by 35 weeks when the Easter holidays started. My mat leave started at the end of Easter hold at 37 weeks but I was very relieved to be finished earlier!

Thanks for the love and concern lovely ones, don't worry I am taking it easy! It used to be 6 weeks but now most insurance companies say whenever your gp gives you the go ahead, basically they want you to be confident of doing an emergency stop. I was driving after 3 weeks with ds1 with no issues and only want to be able to pootle about to toddler groups etc.

Gouda how exciting! Sounds like it might not be long for you!

honeysucklejasmine · 03/01/2016 19:51

Lil fabric markers dot on label. Smile

Thursday they think it's more likely to be a girl, but can't give even the usual level of certainty. So we're not banking on it.

Molly fabulous experience, well done! Has H not stepped up to slightly less cunty behaviour? Angry What a twat. Agree ds1 is prob having a whale of a time though! So don't stress.

Kate they would not be darkening my door again if I could help it. Is DH on side, or is he blind to it?

Pee nice work on challenging the MIL. Has she even replied to say sorry?

Jelly well done on the poo baby! And yay for BHs. I guess I'll start getting them eventually. Can't really imagine it at the moment.

Gouda sounds promising! Gx for you!

goodnessgraciousgoudaoriginal · 03/01/2016 20:19

Condolences to everyone having to go back to work tomorrow - URRRRGHGHGHGHGHGHGHHG!!! I hope at least the weather is a bit less depressing over there than it is here, for those with commutes!

honey - I missed the post where you talked about the scan - is it just too early for them to give you a more definitive answer on the sex, or was baby honey just being a bit modest?

Kate This man sounds awful. How did anyone not tell him that was a fucking disgusting thing to say?!?! Is this the same guy who said he didn't want to hear about lady problems or whatever? What a knob end. Let us all pray that you friend sees the light and kicks his arse to the curb.

ThursdayLastWeek · 03/01/2016 20:36

Gah kate! Well done for no murder, very restrained.

I weighed myself today and I am 74kg, which is approx +10kg on my normal weight. I reckon at 30 weeks that's not too bad? I don't feel too fat, other than bump obv.

My ghastly DS is still riding the 98th centile and making car seat shopping v tricky and expensive.

OP posts:
honeysucklejasmine · 03/01/2016 20:40

Gouda baby has been incredibly modest, 6 times Hmm. On one occasion, the legs were slightly parted but not enough to see vag, just enough to possibly indicate lack of balls. But resolution was poor and it quickly shut them again.

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 03/01/2016 20:58

Thank you for the birth story molly so happy to hear a positive experience. No one gets a perfect birth but good ones can take many forms.

Sorry to hear that the childrens father is still being an idiot. Try not to take it personally, it is clearly him and not you. It is fab your parents can help out with DS1. Do not feel bad. 20 or 30 years ago it was the norm for families to chuck in and help with the bairn. It is only recently we have been expected to be so flippin independent after having kids and if you ask me, not javing family around to help is unnatural.

Agree with the others that you need to take it easy on yourself both physically and mentally. Your body and mind have been through a lot and it is just hoing to take time to go back to feeling like yourself again. Flowers

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 03/01/2016 21:34

OMG honey that baby shower thread is boiling my blood... why do I leave the shelter of the JS enclave?! People are such arseholes! Oh and your food rota thing is genius!
