I have colourless or white discharge most days. I remember having it with DD preg too. Think it is normal.
Bought some mat jeans and trousers for work yesterday from catalogue. One pair of under bump jeans with elastic tab inside to make them smaller. Pair of over bump jeans that drown me and the trousers for work fitted nicely (when i found the elastic tab thing) but they are half mast. I ordered a 31" leg. Have sent them back and have to get 33". I didn't thing I was that tall.

guilia - it's fine to travel until quite late. I'm 16 weeks and oss to the US on Monday (business). We are planning a holiday as late as insurance will allow (28 weeks). The airlines will happily take you up about 37 weeks with a doctors note.

My only concession will be to wear support stocking and take half an aspirin.

Have a good one!

Myfairone · 05/01/2007 10:51

Morning ladies!

Guilia - As has already been said, just make sure your insurance is covering you and you should be fine to fly. I checked with my doctor before flying on a 6 hour trip and was told it is fine..Have a great holiday..where are you going? How nice to put your feet up!!!! heaven!

Bodkin - GOod luck with the scan today. Be sure to let us know how it goes.

Chooster - Thank you for having a bloated tummy like me!
I am so pleased about your scan results. You must be smiling all over your face!

Twoplusone - Glad to hear you are going to be pathetic! Thats what you both need! Hubby can feel all manly and you can feel relaxed (for once!)
Cyprus holidays are always great but after being on your own for so long it would be lovely to spend some time with those you love and have some fun! Go for it.
Im sorry to hear your dog isnt feeling well. Talk about one thing after the other! Maybe he just ate something he shouldnt in the garden! HOpe hes okay today.

Beartime- Im so jealous of your Old Navy clothes. I was in the states a little while ago but just didnt think to buy any maternity clothes. I stupidly assumed that I would be okay to buy them here!

Catstar - Same as that! I have some weird achey, sort of shooting pains that are not painful but more weird feelings. I also have a discharge and panicked this mornign because I couldnt find any white knickers!!!! I feel like ive lived in my knickers for the past few weeks! lol...

Abgirl - Thanks for the stats!

Typhoonsmum - Maybe your legs have grown! lol...Glad to hear we are all settling into the maternity clothes! I have squeezed (and i do mean squeezed) myself into a suit today which has some lycra in it! The material is stretching to its fullest potential around my bloated tum and I'm doing a great job of keeping jacket closed! Cant wait for my scan so I can tell everyone at work and finally just 'let it all hang out'! Well not literally of course!

Have a great day everyone...I'm off to eat again!

catstar · 05/01/2007 12:18

Thanks Girls - I do feel reassured. I think the lower back ache has probably been caused by 8 weeks of slumping on the sofa and not having the energy to sit up straight. Must try harder! I don't get to see a midwife until 29 Jan, when I will be 17 weeks.

On the subject of maternity clothes, does anyone know who does "tall" maternity stuff. I'm 5'11" and find getting trousers and jeans hard enough, let alone for a big tum! I have no sign of any bump yet and am envious of those of you with something to show!! Like I say, I am tall and have a long body, so there must be plenty of room to spread out!!

Myfairone · 05/01/2007 13:52

Catstar- Glad you feel reassured. I too think that my lack of energy and any kind of exercise has led to me getting aches and pains I didnt get before. I panic over everything too! Had a really bad tum last night and think it was just constipation (you wouldnt believe how upset I got!) sorry if that was tmi!

Don't be envious of 'no bump'! I am 5ft and a size 8 (normally) I am currently walking around looking like I have a football down my trousers and I'm not even 12 weeks yet! But that said, thats probably down to the constipation as well!

Cakehead · 05/01/2007 13:56

Anyone else weeing three times a night? Honestly, DD didn't get me up this many times... Yes, I too have a roundy bump developing. DH took me shopping in Battersea on Weds - he'd noticed a pregnancy clothes shop, very thoughtful! - and we maxed the credit card. Luckily, everything was in the sale, but we still did some damage... Shop was called Pretty Pregnant on Northcote Road if there are any South Londoners on the link.

Myfairone · 05/01/2007 13:58

Cakehead - YEEEEEEEEEEEEES! I can almost set my watch that its exactly 2 hours and I have to get up! Its so annoying because I find it hard to get off afterwards!

Well what an observant little bunny he is! I'm in Kent but travel into the City for work. Its so hard to find maternity shops isnt it? What did you buy?

Cyee · 05/01/2007 14:38

Hi all,

So glad to hear of so many positive stories/scans etc. Hope you're all feeling ok. I'm nearly 14 weeks and not completely over the old nausea etc.

Catstar - in my online adventures I think Isabella Oliver and Long Tall Sally (both have web sites) do ranges for taller women (you lucky thing!). I think LTS mainly does trousers though.

Is anyone else noticing how time is flying in the past few weeks? We're nearly a third of the way there!

Hope those bumps continue to bloom and that you all feel better and better.

PS I too am weeing like clockwork all through the night, have some low back pain and d/charge. Apparently we should have more d/charge than normal and it should smell/taste a bit different (TMI?!) just because it's for the purpose of keeping everything well oiled 'up there'

Jennster · 05/01/2007 14:44

I'm 5'10'' Catstar and wore half mast trousers all pregnancy. At least it will be summer when we are really big and wearing sandals.

Mothercare long trousers weren't too bad with ultra flat shoes, and next extra long were ok, but think they were both only 33''. I have a short body and had a tiny little bump right to the end last time. Next mat tops were RUBBISH. Really short in the body. New Look have started to do a Tall range and a maternity range. Their Tall jeans are BRILL at 36'' but don't think their maternity go that long unfortunately.

Do LongTallSally do maternity? Not looked at them in ages as feel like a midget when I go in the shops.

Topshop do Maternity (view the full range online) and think their long jeans are 34''.

Jennster · 05/01/2007 14:45

Oh and discharge OOHH YES. (sorry). Might start carrying a spare pair of knickers with me. Hate panty liners.

Myfairone · 05/01/2007 14:50

Jennster - LOL at the spare knickers comment! Me too! I always carry a pair but had an embarrassing moment when I pulled out my train pass as well as my knicks!

So we are all in agreement that discharge is perfectly normal and maternity clothes don't come long enough for tall people? lol...If its any consolation, being a short a$$ I have to take everything up!

I have the smallest of bumps but it is a bump to me. I am 5'10 and normally a size 10-12. With DD didn't really show till late as catstar said, maybe the bump has more room to spread out.
No-one realises my bump is there. Normally my stomach is quite flat( nothing to do with diet and exercise trust me. I don't do sweat) so this tiny bump is def a bump but no-one but me and DP can tell any difference.
Read somewhere that at this stage any bump will actually be bowel being pushed up by expanding womb. (Spoilsports- It is a baby bump to me.)

twoplusone · 05/01/2007 16:05

firststar- thanks for the happy bday for sunday.
Pg bumbs I like to think mine is a bumb but as soo much chubb there in the first place hard to tell.....
Must be something to do with babs as feel like legs and bum arms face slimer... when i said this to friend the other night on the phone she said "No Karen its just your belly and boobs are bigger so you think everywhere else is slimmer".. One thing about my mates they tell me how it is!!! lol..
Dont eat much at all during the day generally just brejkkie then have tea at 5 ish then by 8-9ish I have the munchies!!.. Got dd and I some sweets for the weekend to sit and xchill in front of the telly once ds has gone to bed.

Spoke to DH on MSN messenger for an hour or so earlier.. he though his luck was in as my friend joined us so we had a threesome!!.. he likes the names dd and I picked so think we are going with them. But they have changed his flight, he wont be home till a week later

twoplusone · 05/01/2007 16:32

something to cheer everyone up...
made melaught anyway

catstar · 05/01/2007 16:51

Looks like a trip to Topshop for me when my bump eventually appears (or it that my bowel!?!)

Twoplusone - how do you last from breakfast to tea without eating? That's when I do most of my scoffing - I am an eating machine! Not so keen to eat in the evenings as ms at worst then.

Have a great weekend!

Myfairone · 05/01/2007 17:17

Catstar - my bowel is giving me grief in my clothes thats all i know! Feel much better now I have assumed my position the couch with a tea and yet another ginger biscuit!

Twoplusone - Firstly, Happy birthday for Sunday..I hope you get the chance to put your feet up! And I am sure you look beautiful! How on earth can you go that long without food!? I am eating more than usual because if I don't I just feel like I want to puke constantly. If you asked me what I really wanted I would say nothing, because my taste buds seem to have deserted me! If anyone sees them please send them back!

Typhoonsmum - Maybe you need to eat more to fill your bowel a little better! lol..that kind of spoils it to think of it that way but I am sure our bumps will be big soon enough and then we will all be complaining!

Firststar - Genius suggestion! they were clean if its any consolation! lol
I feel the same after 4 days at work..its been the longest week ever! Not sure how I am going to cope with 5 next week!

Well, have a great weekend everyone. I hope that your MS is nowhere to be seen and that you all have great fun.

Big hugs to you all.

typhoonsmum · 05/01/2007 17:19

Glad you all agree the bowel theory is a load of rubbish. Made me laugh anyway.

dewmeadow · 05/01/2007 18:07

Ach poo - i had a huge epistle written and hit something and deleted it!!!

psml at your funnies Twoplusone - they are SOOOOOOOOOOOO funny!!

Twoplus - how do you get youre babies to sleep through? Is it some strategy that you use or is it just that the babies magically, mysteriously do it by themselves. My DS (10 monthjs) routine is totally no-existant because of 4 months of constant teething and sickness. He sleeps in our bed every night and Im stressed about sorting him out before July. We let him cry the other night and I just couldnt cope with him sobbing his wee heart out. Also I think we kickstarted his separation anxiety, as he has become ultra clingy. Ah well....

Catstar - I also have had constant on and off cramps and sensations down there. I think they are stretching and constipation/wind. My back discomfort was definitely bowel related, though I panicked everytime as it felt like my period was going to come. Also have a higher quantity of white discharge - think this is totally normal.

Hi to everyone else!!

twoplusone · 05/01/2007 18:11

Dewmeadow- I was just lucky... DD maintained the good sleeping, but when DS hit one it all went out the window again.... For 18months he was a terrible sleeper just started going through again and he is 2.6years.......

Beartime · 05/01/2007 22:07

Twoplusone - just interested what you do when they are in your room after you put them back down if they are still crying? I'm only asking cos last time I put him in his own room and let him cry a bit if I knew he was fed etc. But am thinking about having him in my room till he sleeps thru this time but don't want crying as it will wake DH up.

Catstar - I've had discharge for ages now - supposed to be normal. Just keep changing the pantyliners

Jennster - New Look have maternity - ooh where?

Anyone want to admit how much they are spending on maternity clothes? I just want some reassurance that I'm not spending too much money

LieselVonTrapp · 05/01/2007 23:07

Two question please ladies:

Is anyone having movement?
Is anybody wearing maternity yet?
