Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 41st grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 41sr grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 55th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates. (Except it's not because I don't know how to link to the stats sheet!)

Flowers for you Pretzel, as you said I'm sure it wasn't intentional. She may have been really nervous and a bit lacking in self awareness as a result?

Ha, yes we have to bring our own pee. I prefer this as I can wee in the privacy of my own home! Does anyone know if we need to take a wee sample when we rock up to the labour ward? I presume they test your wee there too?

Everything hunky dory at the MW appointment. I see her every week from now. Wonder when she will start offering to poke me in the foof. Quite happy to wait until 41 weeks for that particular experience.

ThursdayLastWeek · 10/12/2015 16:09

Uh oh my cheeky wipes online basket is getting fuller and more expensive every day

5hell · 10/12/2015 16:24

sympathy Brew for you pretz ...some people have very little awareness, empathy or thoughfullness (and some are just plain rude!)

do you think you'll get another chance at the labour ward tour/labour worries thing? if you weren't feeling up to it then you wouldn't have gotten the best out of it anyway - forgive yourself! Flowers

5hell · 10/12/2015 16:27

how many "flannels" can one girl buy thurs ?

...i cant talk, just spanked £130 on a carrier (Lillebaby's are on a sort of BOGOF on babame if anyone's interested) ...should really be buying xmas presents instead!!

ddog is recovered from anaesthetic, so i'm off to get him shortly, he's still falling apart a bit, but i'll hear the full report later. if his past GAs are anything to go by i have an evening of sorrowful whining to look forward to Sad

ThursdayLastWeek · 10/12/2015 16:36

One set for faces, one set for bums, and then some really nice muslins, just because I never see nice bright coloured ones in RL Grin

Good luck with DDog 5hell, I hope he keeps a lid on his guilt trip (unlikely I know!). Is he terribly aged?

ThursdayLastWeek · 10/12/2015 16:37

My MO in online shopping is to fill my basket then get off the page before I can actually buy everything. I like to imaginary shop a few times before I commit!

honeysucklejasmine · 10/12/2015 16:37

Thursday agree with 5hell! I just got ikea flannels. £3 for 10 30x30cm flannels. So will cut in half and hey presto, 20 wipes. I bought two packs so 40 total.

Yesterday I started on dribble bib manufacturing. I got some microfibre cloths from matalan, cut in half diagonally and will be sewing two sides together to make a triangle. Also cut triangles from some nice fat quartets. Had to go for neutral ones as far as possible. So acorns, oak leaves, woodland creatures and then white and navy anchors.

I have too many fat quarters. I really need to make some sort of mega quilt or something to use them up. Trouble is I am not massively patient so the idea of slowly building up a quilt is not especially appealing. Eugh. Something to force myself to do in the new year I guess.

ThursdayLastWeek · 10/12/2015 16:38

Yeah I'm not a sew-er Grin

honeysucklejasmine · 10/12/2015 16:41

Pretzel that sucks so much Sad I would have done exactly the same. In fact just the other week a friend arrived late to a gathering and ended up sitting in floor in front of me. I really struggled with that because she was leading the conversation a lot so hard for me to engage with it. Similarly, I told my MIL off for sitting directly behind me (I was on a chair, she a bar style stool) because it makes me supremely uncomfortable. I really can't cope with it. I always make an effort to ensure everyone is included so it's hard if others don't seem to bother. Flowers

fruitlovingmonkey · 10/12/2015 16:57

Thanks shell sounds good. I've got my eye on a blue one.
Honey you could always experiment making wank hats with your spare material!
Sorry pretz it's horrible to feel left out Flowers. I've felt a bit cut off at a couple of social events since being upduffed. I'm just not as loud confident without booze Confused

oneyorkshirepud · 10/12/2015 17:06

Oh poor ddog. Hope he perks up for you this eve. When we had small cat spayed she was totally mashed off her face, she just kept purring and trying to rub her nose on us but just falling over. It was fricken hilarious.

Ooh Honey put sone pics of your dribble bibs on Facebook, this is one of my jobs for next week!

Illiria · 10/12/2015 17:53

Thanks all. Back from hospital, baby looks fine and has strong 159beats per minute heart rate. Doctor thought is was from the cervix or a small bleed under the placenta that I can't remember the name of but not enough to worry about in itself. Due to exam it might happen again. DH has set me up with snacks and drinks for the day.

Glad ddog is ok.

I hate people who will intentionally cut you out of a conversation by standing in front of you, it's so playground tactics.

pretzelpieces · 10/12/2015 18:14

Thank you everyone, you're all blood lovely and I don't know what I'd do without you. I might be able to book into the fear of labour course for January, if it's early enough in January! (Just cutting it a bit fine!).

Things have improved somewhat. I've done nothing I was meant to do today flails BUT one of the other ladies from nct sent me a little email saying she hopes I'm feeling a bit better and we've exchanged a few messages (I didn't tell her what happened because I didn't want to stir up anything/make a big deal out of it). But it's really kind and thoughtful that that person messaged me and it gives me a bit of hope about making irl friends.

The other thing that happened was I was laying in bed feeling depressed and a friend texted asking if I wanted to meet up and so I made myself invite her round for coffee, which was definitely the right choice. I know when I feel this way I need to do all the things that stop it getting worse! Even if I feel like I'm shit company, I need to see (the right) people.

So glad ddog is okay.

That's fantastic news ill. Glad the hb is strong and the bleed nothing to be concerned about.

honey I'm also looking forward to seeing pics of your latest crafts! I've fucked up this cardigan I'm knitting for my niece.

pretzelpieces · 10/12/2015 18:15

*bloody lovely Hmm

ThursdayLastWeek · 10/12/2015 18:27

Good news ill Smile

honeysucklejasmine · 10/12/2015 18:31

Lol will put some up when I have seen them together! At the moment it's just a pile of triangles and pins. I am really sad and asked for some Velcro strips for Christmas to put on them, so they will be triangles until then.

jellypi3 · 10/12/2015 18:37

feathered that's outrageous. I hope you get it sorted.

pret big hugs. Feeling left out is shit.

ill glad it's ok.

honey yeh I could, just seems a waste of money. Might do it next week tho.

oneyorkshirepud · 10/12/2015 20:12

Glad you had a better afternoon Pretzel and very, very glad that baby is okay Ill!

Being a serial cervix poker to keep track of my cycles when ttc, I thought I would see what it was up to at the mo. Very posterior (high) which apparently means not ready but also very soft, which is a good sign. So to conclude, I know nothing new! Ha ha. Oh well, it will be interesting to keep an eye on it over the next few days/weeks and see what happens.

Mermaid36 · 10/12/2015 20:52

Evening lovely Viroids...

Today has consisted of meetings, morning sickness, conference calls, afternoon sickness and exhaustion...

Just waiting for DH to get home, eat dinner and flomp into bed....

Illiria · 10/12/2015 21:41

The cat and I have spent some quality napping time today :-)

Thank you everyone for your support.

Flowers to all having a crappy time of it.

honeysucklejasmine · 10/12/2015 21:45

Sounds like a perfect day Ill. Cats are the best. Gx your body behaves itself now.

Jcandy · 10/12/2015 22:14

I'm impressed you reached it pud! I'm too scared to try and check!

oneyorkshirepud · 10/12/2015 22:25

Only just JC! At least I know there is no point having a sweep whilst it is all the way up there!

Loving the cat cuddles Ill!

Going to go to the local boob club tomorrow and meet some mums/get some tips!

ThursdayLastWeek · 11/12/2015 08:01

Morning all!

JC pud molly how are you all feeling? I'm so excited for you all!

I think I've pulled a muscle in my tum, because I just sneezed and it killed! I did get a bit beached on the floor with DS yesterday, maybe that has something to do with it.

I was looking at the stats and wondering whether I might end up over taking a few of you - my edd isnt til the 9th but this baby is coming on the 4th of March so I might jump ahead if carrot for instance goes over Smile

honeysucklejasmine · 11/12/2015 08:32

I think I will probably end up going in to March too. DM and dsis both went over with every baby so far. DH is obsessed with the idea of me giving birth on the 29th Feb. So we'll see!
