Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 41st grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 41sr grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 55th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates. (Except it's not because I don't know how to link to the stats sheet!)

Apologies pretzel x post! Probably a good thing as my feet are in fact fat and ugly at the moment!

goodnessgraciousgoudaoriginal · 08/12/2015 18:56

I can still see my feet if I lean my hips back and peer forwards. Conversely, shaving my bikini line has become a bit of an extreme sport involving a lot of guess work and fearlessness...

pretzel // country - yeah, but I always just assumed that posh wanks were for when the menz involved were on their lonesome, couldn't be bothered with clear up, and had some spares lying about!

Either that or there was some very pressing reason why they would be very paranoid about getting sperm on the bed....

CountryGal4 · 08/12/2015 18:59

Fearless fanny shaving.... A new Olympic event????

jellypi3 · 08/12/2015 19:03

I've given up shaving! Hair removal cream for the win! I can still see my feet but my fanjo has been a stranger to me for many weeks now!

KateBeckett · 08/12/2015 19:25

😂 oh my all this wank hat is hilarious!

molly glad baby is not too huge, gx for a non Xmas day birthday!

tea I've had... A fucking huge bowl of granola and Greek yogurt, an apple, gravy and chips, 2/3s of a jar of Nutella Xmas Blush an orange and a massive bowl of stew and dumplings... Currently working my way through some more Nutella. I am so ashamed Xmas Grin

So, scanxiety is setting in big time. Am convinced something is going to be wrong. Am a hypercondriac twat. Argh!!

Jcandy · 08/12/2015 19:36

I'm here jelly just pretty grumpy today coz I hardly slept last night and my back is really hurting. Catching up with you lot from today has made me smile though Xmas Smile However, we've not dtd for ages and only twice since conception. It's kinda got to the point where I can't bear to think about it, my pelvis is so achy that I can't see how it would feel good!

Mermaid36 · 08/12/2015 19:38

Evening Viroids! Have loved catching up with the sex advice after a day of meetings Grin we have managed once since BFP and it felt a bit like a chore...

My morning sickness has turned into evening sickness...

However, I'm currently sat having a pedicure and polish, so it's not all bad. Just discussing waxing with the therapist when I get more bump - might just let her sort the fanjo out!

lildottie · 08/12/2015 19:44

Lmao at jelly's posh wank service! I always sit astride dh and aim for his belly button because it really annoys him! Then I climb off, wash my hands and bring him back the loo roll and he cleans up. And getting it in the belly prevents leakage dien onto the bed. Also always his side of the bed just in case though!

feathered Flowers I should have a 6/7week old bubba so feel ur sadness.

Ill brown is old blood so try not to worry. Obv I know you will but hopefully the fact the viroids are telling you it doesn't sound bad will help. But also vote call mw for reassurance though.

feathered its 4.20am for me! Though touch wood I've had a better couple of nights recently.

molly hope baby shows up before crimbo for you. Maybe cross your legs until after Christmas dinner? Grin glad all well with scan and baby not too huge!

CountryGal4 · 08/12/2015 19:49

I've just eaten a roast dinner and a mince pie (the last one) i want to eat something else. Bad probably... A problem is the only things in the house involve lots of cooking to make edible... Or salad... I don't want salad.

oneyorkshirepud · 08/12/2015 20:02

Urgh, no one wants salad. (My non pregnant self loved salad, I miss her!) Kate, that is impressive work with the Nutella!

Molly, my MW said that hardly anyone goes into labour on Christmas day and then boxing day is like holy hell (her exact words) as they have to deal with two day's worth of babies at once! Surely they will have minimal staff on for Xmas day and therefore will me doing EMCS only?!

Flowers for you too Lil.

Sorry that your back is so bad JC, have you found anything to ease the discomfort?

Off for another bath. I feel bad for using so much water having a bath every day but it just makes everything so much more comfortable.

goodnessgraciousgoudaoriginal · 08/12/2015 20:10

country - could you try going for a mug of hot milk instead? It's pretty satisfying, but easier than cooking. If you put half a tea spoon of sugar in it, it's really like a yummy dessert.

I've put on 15kg//2 stone 5lbs//33lbs so far, and that's WITH me making a pretty reasonable effort to exercise throughout, not eat too much junk, or stuff myself too much. I've decided to try and make much more of an effort for the last month, as I really, really don't want to struggle to lose it afterwards Sad

Jcandy · 08/12/2015 20:35

I've got a heat pack on it which makes it feel a bit better. But generally just uncomfortable! I'm really hoping I go into labour before Christmas! I'd like to get it out of the way. ....

honeysucklejasmine · 08/12/2015 20:40

Pud staffing levels in midwifery are exactly the same 365 days of the year. It's true that they don't schedule ELCS on weekends and holidays but that's because it requires a surgeon. My friend is super excited that this year is the first in a decade where she is not working a shift on Christmas day and can therefore drink. Although she is on earlies on boxing day so not too much!

Molly my friend said that about Christmas dinner too. She was due in January. In the end she had a EMCS on Christmas Eve and therefore missed dinner at home. Her second child carried out the tradition of being a to talk ruined by being born on New Years Day. No NYE piss ups for her untilk the kid is old enough to go to one herself. Poor love. Sad

Pretzel thank you! I can fart. But poo is not so forthcoming which is super annoying.

Illiria · 09/12/2015 04:36

Thanks everyone,

Tmi alert - had another bit of brown when whiping. DH is worried but I think it only happens when I try and pooh. Increasing my intake of fiber and water.

DH had just come round to dtd when pregnant, that has now gone out the window. DH is perfectly happy pleasing himself luckily.

Molly glad scan was ok. Gx you are able to avoid Christmas delivery.

jellypi3 · 09/12/2015 07:11

ill if there's no cramps or pain then it's likely nothing to worry about but if you are concerned deffo call your midwife.

Ive phoned in sick today. I'm just so tired I can't function. Last night was the 5th night in a row with me getting about 3 hours sleep, I can't face work on top of that. Feeling guilty but I need to listen to my body.

How's everyone's Wednesday shaping up to be?

Mermaid36 · 09/12/2015 07:31

Got a whole 4hrs sleep last night...gah! I'm 7 weeks today, and my app says baby is a little raspberry Smile

Today is our department xmas lunch which I'm looking forward to. I might even manage to eat a whole meal!

5hell · 09/12/2015 08:07

jelly dont feel guilty! listening to your body is the right thing to do...as much as we probably all need to get used to not much sleep, we presumeably wont be expected to get up, get properly dressed, negotiate rush-hour and/or make intelligent contributions at work when babies are here! (well not for a while anyway) Xmas Wink

Only 8 days left at work before xmas break but sooo much to finish before then :(

ThursdayLastWeek · 09/12/2015 08:08

27 weeks today - bunch of bananas apparently!

ThursdayLastWeek · 09/12/2015 08:14

I'm slacking off playgroup - they combine it with the nursery school and reception Xmas party which actually makes it not much fun for the littles.

Then DS is off to his GPs for the afternoon so DH & I can make the most of all of yesterday's tips WinkGrin.
Or just watch telly and wrap presents...

oneyorkshirepud · 09/12/2015 08:16

Jelly, don't feel guilty. I really struggled with my last couple of weeks at work and had a day off. I ended up finishing two days early because I was so tired! Everyone will understand, and if they don't they are not worth worrying about. Now put your feet up! Grin

Enjoy your lunch Mermaid!

Today I shall mostly be painting (more) furniture and cleaning out the kitchen cupboards. So exciting ha ha!

Peenut · 09/12/2015 08:22

Oh the posh wank stuff is hilarious Viroids. We should write a book. The truth about pregnancy that nobody but a viroid will tell you!

On that note - Ill I too keep getting the brown blood upon pooing. Yesterday it was a difficult poo and I wiped some red. Not like a period .... Sort of more watery. Sorry. TMI.

This has happened before a few weeks ago and it's what prompted me to be scanned at hospital. I'm now 9 weeks so well I'm to my second missed period - the nurses last time said the bleeding can be caused by hormones triggered by your normal cycle. I think it's that again but going to keep an eye on it and will call EPU if it continues/gets worse. Very disconcerting to see blood! Although it's hit a constant flow and no cramps or anything.

The brown can also be from the 'bruise' caused by implantation coming away from around the pregnancy.

Don't worry but if you are call the midwife for reassurance. If I hadn't been trying for a baby I'd be very confused and might have thought for a long time I'd had a light period and therefore wasn't pregnant!

Congrats on rapberry status mermaid! 🍓🍓🍓 I'm concerned about the 🍉🍉🍉 stage.

Jelly poor you - but lap up that day off. Watch some Christmas films maybe. I woke at 4:30 and fell asleep again at 6am. Feel worse for the extra hour and now can't get out of bed!

Peenut · 09/12/2015 08:28

PS I have lost my grip on reality. Keep having vivid dreams about stuff that could happen I normal life. Just had to check my emails to see if I sent a message saying I'd work all weekend to a client. I dreamt I'd had a reply from them saying it would make them 'fucking' delighted if I could. Phew. Not real. Just pregnancy dreaming.

CarrotPuff · 09/12/2015 09:07

Morning viroids! DS decided to give me a lie in and woke up 6.45! Woop woop! Now sitting at hospital waiting for my 28w blood test.

Ill FWIW I used to bleed a bit after sex in first tri with DS as you have increased blood flow to your cervix, so it's easy to disturb it. I'm guessing dildocam could have had the same effect for you. Give your dr a call if you are worried though Thanks

SecondCupOfTea · 09/12/2015 09:43

Kate 'wank hat'? Maybe Jelly could use that as a nickname for a condom? Grin

After a quieter few days, stropbaby is back to kicking me plenty again (mind you, my morning porridge has probably made its way to him by now).

I'm sat at work, drinking tea, thinking about doing something productive. I've moved my maternity leave forward by a week I keep doing that, so now I finish when I'm 35+6.

I have an equally large lunch with me again today along with an emergency bag of pickled onion monster munch

FeatheredTail · 09/12/2015 10:26

Congrats on your bunch of bananas Thurs! Ovia's 'eccentric' app informs me I'm gestating a chipmunk sized foetus at the moment. Lovely Ovia.

Mer enjoy that Christmas lunch before the sickness returns!

Fingers crossed that you're in before Christmas Molly. Dry turkey and soggy sprouts are not an option....worst comes to worst, get your mum to drive your Christmas dinner to the hospital. That's perfectly reasonable, no? Xmas Wink

I hate real life dreams like that Pee! Jesus, just give me a magical unicorn drinking from a lake of glitter and a levitating tractor that has replaced my morning train - not a bloody-could-be-real-work-dilemma-dream!

Thanks for the flowers etc viroids....I forget how many of us have lost beans.
