amysmummy12345 · 06/12/2015 22:14

Thanks rose xxx

Dirtycat · 06/12/2015 23:38

Good luck Amy and to those others with scans coming up. Rose we are currently due date buddies as I've also hit the magic 12 week point today. I feel so bloody lucky and thrilled to be here!!

My Doppler arrived and I've heard baby's heartbeat thundering along at 125bpm - magical.

Now all I've got to do is get through another week at work... Have a great week all, looking forward to the scan pics xx

Can't remember who [nergharg?] had the pain moving around the leg but definitely go to the GP. Pregnancy does all sorts of weird stuff, most of which isn't bad but good to get it checked. For example last time, I woke up in the middle of the night and my entire left leg was numb, I was petrified turns out it was probably just movement of the pelvic region doing something to a nerve. I also had silent migraines which I have never had before nor after pregnancy. Mind you, a body that is capable of growing another human is liable to doing other weird stuff I guess! :D Hope it is absolutely fine for you.

good luck amy and all scanees for this week ahead. Our scan is Friday, excited and petrified in equal measure.

Lovelybeano · 07/12/2015 06:50

I'm feeling a bit more hopeful today, I'm sure when I was saying nanight to my little body invader last night I felt movement, it may have been wind but I'm sure it wasn't, I lie on my back and give my belly a little massage every night, I stopped where I could feel my tummy was harder and a few little flutters were there, it went on for a little while which is why I'm thinking body invader was saying nanight back Grin i felt dd at 15 weeks and ds a little bit before 15 weeks so it is still really early, but I'm looking forward to Thursday now rather than dreading it eeekkk xxx

Betty79 · 07/12/2015 07:56

Morning, scan day for me today, excited and nervous! Good luck to everyone else with theirs especially amy.

emma85x · 07/12/2015 08:10

Good luck to everyone with their scans today!

laughingGnomette · 07/12/2015 11:57

Ahhh lovely that's great! I'm pretty sure I've felt some movement for a couple of weeks now. It's a lovely feeling, and you can enjoy them at this stage before they become bladder kicks and elbow jabs!!

Good luck with the scan ladies!

I had an appointment today just for a check up and the midwife listened for the heart beat. All is well but it did take her almost 10 minutes to find it. I'm so pleased it wasn't my first so I knew it could be hard to find the heartbeat (in 14 weeks tomorrow) otherwise I would have freaked out big time!

jellybelly85 · 07/12/2015 13:36

Hi everyone. All good news from my scan today. Showed a wriggly, healthy baby with all limbs intact! EDD is bang on for 16th June.

Good luck to everyone else!

Aww lovely scan pics ladies xxxx

nehagarg · 07/12/2015 14:41

Amazing pictures ladies. Glad all is well for the scans done so far. Good luck everyone else for today.

Dolly - definitely. On my way to GP now. Its most probably nothing.

bikingintherain · 07/12/2015 15:05

What lovely pictures! I'm so happy for you all!

Rose2806 · 07/12/2015 15:06

Lovely scans, hope it goes well at the doctors nehagarg.

I never thought it would be so hard just to pick up a sandwich when out and about, all the places like pret don't use pasteurised eggs in their mayonnaise and the John lewis cafe didn't either, was starving and exhausted once I actually got something!

Got myself some non-underwired bras which will hopefully be more comfortable for now, there didn't seem to be specific "maternity" ones until you're actually nursing? What had everyone else found?

laughingGnomette · 07/12/2015 16:09

Lovely scans ladies!!

I'm surprised at that Rose, I thought by default shop bought sarnies used pasteurised. Pret also say on their website that sandwiches such as egg mayonnaise are suitable for pregnant women.

Pret also say on their FAQs that they use pasteurised eggs. Phew.
