17 I'm a size 16 and started to show with my first around 16/20 weeks although I don't think it matters what size you are. Plenty of skinny people I know didn't show till even later and some popped out. I've popped quite early this time.

Had my scan today, it was lovely and all good so far. I'm now 12+3 and due 7th June.

TattedPixie · 27/11/2015 19:54

caterpillar my belly has started to harden when I push it in, I think it's the start of bump growing. I'm size 18/20 and 10 weeks tomorrow, but I don't know what is normal as this is my first child.

Had a sickness free day today which was great, managed to see family without feeling like utter poop.
My nan told me that if I am having a girl, I'm not allowed to dress her in black like I do (gothic style), I just nodded and agreed lol

nehagarg · 27/11/2015 21:38

Sorry for a bit of tmi here but I have a question. I had a bit of clear watery fluid leak this evening. I felt the gush earlier but didnt pay much attention until I went to the loo and saw a wet spot in my underwear. (about the size of a 20p coin)

Nothing since and I will keep an eye on it but was wondering if anyone has heard of this or had it before? All discharge I have had so far has been white and creamy. The clear and wateriness of this one scares me.

MadrigalElectromotive · 27/11/2015 21:44

Could it be leukorrea nehagarg? My app warned me it starts around now and it is much thinner apparently, and most importantly, totally normal. Just another joy of this magical process. Hmm

nehagarg · 27/11/2015 22:06

Not sure Madrigal. I have had creamy white discharge almost every day all this time. But today it was watery and quite wet. Cant tell in my knickers but pretty sure its transparent, not white. Sorry about the TMI. It seems so weird to talk about stuff in my knickers.

Sheesh! Is there no end to worries? Just when I had started relaxing and actually believing I am pregnant.

mrsmugoo · 28/11/2015 07:00

Yes I remember being wet like like almost all the way through my last pregnancy.

Lovelybeano · 28/11/2015 07:20

Yep I'm wet too Blush

Lovelybeano · 28/11/2015 07:49

Does anyone know where I can find some petite maternity jeans ? I've ordered some from new look but they're way too long xx

mrsmugoo · 28/11/2015 08:20

ASOS do ankle grazer style which are shorter x

nehagarg · 28/11/2015 08:22

Thabk you mrsmugoo and beano. Feel a bit better now. I was freaking out because it was clear and watery for a change. Havent had much during the night, hardly anything so feel a bit more at ease now.

mrslewis2015 · 28/11/2015 08:42

I had this too neharg thought I had wee'd myself! Haha oh the joys of pregnancy!

Belleboo23 · 28/11/2015 09:02

lovelybeano I got mine from next and went for the short length. I was lucky and managed to get them in the clearance section so that's worth checking

mrslewis2015 · 28/11/2015 09:03

Has anyone on here taken cyclzine (think that's how you spell it) for nausea? I'm starting to not be able to cope with the level of mine, and have been prescribed but am cautious to take them... I think so far in this pregnancy I've had 1 day where I've felt a little normal and most days I've been awful! Starting to actually throw up now too... Yuck. Any advice on cyclzine would be great, thanks xx

iamdivergent · 28/11/2015 09:08

mrslewis I was on cyclizine - they didn't work this pregnancy for me but last pregnancy they were my lifesaver, they made such a difference. I was still nauseous but it was dulled and not all the time so made things alot more manageable. True totally safe in pregnancy, I took them from 8 wks til I delivered with dd2, 3x per day.

iamdivergent · 28/11/2015 09:09

Beano Next have some on their clearance section, I got a pair for £13.

Betty79 · 28/11/2015 09:34

Beano I've got some next ones too, they have turn ups so are shorter than normal. They are also stretchy so very comfy and I can see them fitting me till the end which is surprising. They were also from the clearance section.

GuessHowMuchILoveGin · 28/11/2015 11:24

In my experience GP are very cautious about prescribing things in pregnancy and I am sure you will be fine to take what they have prescribed for you. Hope it helps.

Belvedere · 28/11/2015 14:30

Lovelybeano I've got topshop Jamie jeans they are the short length (30) and are ankle grazers. Really comfy too.

kezod · 28/11/2015 16:59

Hello Ladies, Went for a scan with the specialist on thurs, nice wriggly baby and strong heartbeat! They've started me on Heparin injections which I have to take everyday (joy) and they bruise! But I feel glad to be on some treatment! I'm 11 weeks today, just waiting for the day to be over as this is when I had a bleed in my last pregnancy and the problems started...

jbiscuits · 28/11/2015 17:16

kezod glad your scan went well Smile

I bought a pair of maternity jeans from mothercare today. I normally need short jeans, but ended up with a long skinny pair that I've just turned up. It might be worth looking online to see if they do short ones, as they definitely have regular and long. You can also get a 20% off voucher if you sign up to their baby club.

Torfhinn · 28/11/2015 17:17

Wonderful that you have had such a great scan kezod, it must be hard when things have gone wrong before but at least you are bring well looked after. I give people those heparin injections, so i feel for you having to give them to yourself!

Very quite 12+5 here Smile

MagicDucky · 28/11/2015 18:43

Well I've been stuck in bed all day! DD came home from the childminder choked with the cold on Wednesday and now the whole house has got it. DP is coping fine but it has totally floored me! Been struggling to get out of bed even to go for a pee!! This and the MS has just finished me!! Sorry for the moan!

Glad to hear your scan went well! Sorry to hear about the daily injections though Kezod!!

Hope everyone else is beginning to feel better!!

kezod · 28/11/2015 20:25

thanks guys, sorry to hear your feeling so unwell on top of MS Magic it just always happens at once.
Just told my neighbour/friend I'm pregnant, I feel slightly bad because she's been trying for a while now (I had hoped she might of had some similar news), and I'm going for lunch with a friend next week who has had 3 mc/stillborn, not really sure how to tell her as she's desperate to have a baby!

GrubbyWindows · 28/11/2015 21:42

A good scan for me too on Friday, phew!
Ugh, injecting yourself is a pain! I feel for you kezod
And for your horrible flattening cold ducky!

kezod maybe tell your friend towards the end of the meal, so she can escape if she needs some time to deal with it, or order pudding if she's up for celebrating your news?
It took me a while to get there with DS, and I remember sometimes feeling a bit ambushed by people's lovely news, even though I truly was delighted for them. I'd just need a chance to sort my heart out first...

mrslewis2015 · 28/11/2015 22:06

kezod my work colleague and friend and I had a very similar conversation she's been trying for years and finding it all very hard, she was talking to me about a friend who told her and then went on to say 'oh we didn't really try' and other similar sentiments and she found it quite upsetting, but said that she worries that people avoid sharing good news with her in case it upsets, so I guess if you just try and say you know it might be hard but I wanted you to know... I think for her it was people acknowledging that people understand is what makes the difference...I hope it goes well with you two!
